I talk to myself
When I see myself
In the square mirror
I do not speak out
"Today it will be
Filled with peacefulness
I will be relaxed
My day will be good"
I will medicate
In my darken room
Before I will sleep
Same every night

Let the dog out
who needs its opinion?
Let’s talk editing,
start with the first line -
no,
start at the first word,
the human mind is not equipped,
to produce brilliant ‘first words.'
Consider ditching,
a few exuberant adjectives,
if not controlled they will breed.
Imagine you only have
$5 of original things to say,
be economical,
or the poem may well be
under-valued.
Run it through a spell check – twice.
Send it out upon the internet,
with a light heart.
Wait patiently,
if nobody responds
it might be for the best.
Remember,
your dog still loves you.

When struggle is a constant friend,
And hope and strength begin to bend,
Stand upon the shifting sand,
And weigh your fate with open hand.
The waves crash fierce against the shore,
Tempting to yield and drown once more.
But though heartache and pain,
Choose to fight against the strain.
For though you may be tired and worn,
With every step, push on.
Forgiving yourself for past mistakes,
And using each as a new learning break.
Do not give up, nor will you drown,
For in this fight You’ll wear the crown.
For it is through endurance and strife,
That you discover the meaning of life.
And though you walk this path alone,
Just know that you are not alone.
For within you burns an inner fire,
That will guide you ever higher.
So stand strong and face my fear,
Knowing that in the end, I'll be here.
Victorious, and standing tall,
For you have conquered, once and for all.

Circumstances forced me
To step out of my routine
So I took my morning walk
Right after 2 cups of caffeine.
I felt so energetic
Anyone I came to face
Would have marveled at my fitness,
So impressive was my pace.
When a stranger made the comment
Of the title, though, to me,
I just smiled and kept my secret –
That I really had to pee!

PEP squad
Hello, let's cheer for the ones to hear
the gladness of our souls
The voices of the ones who speak
surefooted, strong and bold
The PEP Squad shares enlightended ways
together they bring gladder days
But many wish to keep them down
Crowd them with disdain so loud
Owens, west and wiley know and
Tatum, Scott and Owens glow
with light and grace that can't be drowned
by wicked souls and misery frowns.
The PEP squad shines and brings us hope
Denouncing those known misanthropes
This the land of free and of brave
the PEP quad needs spportive way
For though they do not ever cave
this country is slammed with depraved
Let's cheer them on as they speak and try
PEP quad, PEP Squad detoxify
the nation and the world from strife
Caused by those of of malicious life
Many, many more names I know
who are truly PEP but for space I showed
only a few of the proud people to know
that without them we will NEVER grow
to be as we are enshrined to be
with blessings and tranquility

To wake up early, happily merged with morn,
while feeling pep rushes sun-energy surged,
was to feel my eager heart joys fully merge
with each new rising ray brightly incurred.
Early mornings held no unreasonable stress -
in fact, I danced right into my dress or pants.
When motherhood arrived, I was morn-cuffed to
unyielding, demanding and hectic schedules
that blurred morning glee out of sight from me.
My heart still holds fine love for early time zeal
and remembers their fueling, exciting strums.

Pep Me Up
Poems to pep me up will write
When I would see her first site
Married to wife wanted to be
Now am full of joyful jubilee
Together we would fly a kite.

Indulge a code,
Do what you will;
Endow a mode,
Aim for wise feel;
Space within space.
Apt moments fill;
Urge knows a place,
Thought funds the bill;
Hurl a new wave,
Opt to be clear;
Reach out to save,
Impact fine cheer;
Trend a brave swirl,
Yield a new world.

Theres one left,
cant stay down,
let that old familiar fire.
Get up.
Bite down on the pain,
you can do this,
fight it, deny your body of being tired.
Get up.
Bottle up that anger,
let it work to a frenzy,
thats it, draw on his fear.
Get up.
Hes spent,
there is nothing left in his tank,
finish this,
prove you are worthy of wearing that gear.

From the outset, I felt love and bliss in you
But then, momentarily we slowed down of this feelings
As we tread of our faith, can they be considerate, understanding and caring?
The moon finally is at our side, brighter, guiding and consoling
Although our minds they have their own faults and reservations.
We’ll dance with the music naturally, willfully strong for our cause
We knew, our love is destined and wrapped up as one, we promised!
Both of us are survivors, battered in many ways
Threats along the way true and indiscernible
But we should hold on together, love each other the more
While it’s worth loving each other, we should be careful and vigilant
Our love is for eternity
Falling out of love we cannot dare sacrifice
For truly this love is great!

I amassed some confusion
From a therein contusion
But then scuttled away
Was it cause I did pray
I let out a shout
As I did make it out
Some time did go by
Before I could fly
Was a bit of a grump
From sustaining that lump
Was still fast as a cheetah
Though I did have amnesia
The pains in my head
Would leave feelings of dread
I will sue for some riches
For all of these stitches
It will not be a sin
If I can pull off this win
With most memories back
I did beat the attack
And with time marching on
You will see that I won
Some work mans lost pep
Caused me losing my step
If he’d made sure it all worked
They’d know he’d not shirked
Being fired by the boss
Means he’s taking the loss
I am now a go getter
As I am feeling much better
Now I am freed from my pain
Which had me wrapped like a chain
Time to leave all this strife
And go back to my life
You may see me one day
If you don’t what the hay
