The Pep Talk

When struggle is a constant friend, And hope and strength begin to bend, Stand upon the shifting sand, And weigh your fate with open hand. The waves crash fierce against the shore, Tempting to yield and drown once more. But though heartache and pain, Choose to fight against the strain. For though you may be tired and worn, With every step, push on. Forgiving yourself for past mistakes, And using each as a new learning break. Do not give up, nor will you drown, For in this fight You’ll wear the crown. For it is through endurance and strife, That you discover the meaning of life. And though you walk this path alone, Just know that you are not alone. For within you burns an inner fire, That will guide you ever higher. So stand strong and face my fear, Knowing that in the end, I'll be here. Victorious, and standing tall, For you have conquered, once and for all.
