Walk On the Wise Side

Slodes new poem : Walk on the Wise side
The talking clouds,the talking clowns
Feeling like they just do whatever
Calling out everything but mystery
But using it to squander a life a time forgotten
The talking clouds,talking like clowns
I just don't know where the infinite flame has gone
All of mankind looks the same, no one accepts the blame
When you find there is not enough time
Water and Fire always one of them wins
Who can say what a wasted life to what end someone enjoys no pain
Beauty re imagined in the moonbeam of your smile
Its the journey, the people that can feel the ground
Its the dancing clowns that scare people
Nobody walks too long on Pennywise Lane
The cadence screams of the Killer clown
We live it so life doesn't become so extreme

Parity Parody

I was just twenty, was young and healthy, and I said let's dance,
Turned to you Big Ben, said, first kiss say when, you said not a chance.

I was now thirty, I played a small bit, sort of a big hit,
They made me a clown, the small kids attacked, Pennywise from IT!

I planned at forty, thought to be sporty, got you a "Hottie"
Till out of the cake, in his birthday suit, grandson went potty.

I knew at fifty, what do I get for one with everything,
That's when you said a set of Bone China, two cats from Beijing.

I had turned sixty, said you're pretty, but I said something dumb,
Turned where glass is, eyes like molasses, I said you're wearing them!

Intersection

Early registration! Determination in his eyes , off we go to the land of isolation and independence.

It is what l asked for all my young life , now that it is here....l can't take it , l was warned that "lf you rush , you crush." Well what l blasted into existence is destroying my crops.

My face dunked in shame , what have l done? I just wanted so badly to grow up , be on my own but fishing tends to be tricky when hunting on a stormy day and it seems it's always stormy. Life right? What is the price of growth!?

Honesty , integrity , empathy , sympathise and realize the true lies told by Pennywise.....the rotten grapes igniting within my veins deceiving me into supernova , oh my dejavu!

Late registration....the arrow of belief in the goodness pumping love into my being , Bloodmary of courage, yes l am young that makes me free and ready to excellerate.

Mythical Beings

We were told stories
Stories of the hunter demon
Haunting our children
In the dark of the moon

The faceless beast
A silhouette in the night
With a visage defined only
By juvenile imagination

Creeping along our dark spines
And halting body movement
It feeds off our fear.
An African pennywise.

A reality or mirage?
An illusion or memory?
None can verify the truth
Of the legendary ojuju Calabar

Nightmare

Everywhere I look all I see is death,
Staring deep into the eyes of death.
Look deep into the grim reaper’s eyes,
The blackness is overtaking my soul.

A creepy figure watches me sleep,
Pennywise smiles within my dream.
Trapped within a forest of trees,
Its grip so dense it’s hard to breathe.

No knowing what’s hiding in the dark,
Hiding within the mist leaving marks.
Thunder and lightning rumble and flash,
Like instruments with a bang and clash.

Daylight shatters in the blink of an eye,
Like dropping a vase from way up high.
Chucky watches over from the nightstand,
Ready to make you run and jump scared.

Pennywise

IT Chapter 2
# ITTheMovie

"Bill ! .....no it is not." A really terrified soul...careful what's precious might be consumed.
Hungry for a coward , once again he is out to hunt! The stench of fear excites him....his mouth salivating to the terror in their eyes!

Run for cover! Quickly grab the good book , repent and flee from the shadows.
Victims slowly falling like Dominos , "Noooo ! Georgey tried to hold but the fiendish viper devoured him piece by piece....there is no peace.

His venomous tone...... disturbing, slowly crippling to the vulnerable at heart! Wear your armour , get down on your knees petition for an arrow to dermacate your heart from being feasted on by the bloody circus Chef...His name is Pennywise...

Children of the Profits

I was told I was liberated
by the children
of the people who enslaved me

I was told I was emancipated
by the graven image
on the penny

The children said:
“Please forgive their forefathers —
It was only business,
nothing personal”

The pennywise children said:
“We were taught to multiply the dollar
Every money tree
need seed money to grow

Deprive not the blood soil —
Tear dirt needed
for the golden apples”

The children of the profits told me
their living will ~ last testament legacy
was to vow forevermore
to keep romancing the stone

The devout offsprings told me
they remained genealogy faithful to giving widow coin charity
See how the blood diamond riches of their mercy
have grandfather clause grown

But what the children of the profits
neglected to tell me ...
they were market driven
to set me free

That my unpaid labor
was bound to be replaced by soulless machinery
Children of the profits
do usury deed show forth their brotherly love greed

Part heart part soul
Each an echo of your fear;
Never the same as someone else
No scream the same either;
You look in a broken mirror
Whether you like it or not;
Inside your blackest thoughts
Staying behind your eyes,
Every dark dream.

Don'T Be Redundant, Veto the Incumbants

Money hogs keep wallowing in filthy waste while the common folks suffer, from
taxitis...we need a taxectomy!!

A Budget magician---mathmetician!

A balancing act---A balanced budget.

Frugal McDougal---A pennywise/wisecracker.

Cut the governments check...stop the spending!!
