Faith and Adam to the rescue
Delighted many people in queue
Purely a heartfelt-blow of compassion
To people of the world in different fashion
Peabody is the name on filminis
A small horse spotlighted out of many stories
Strength to Faith and Adam for their concern
And to dodo, awarding an inspiring life for Pea of mane

I went driving with a rock star
who owns a Dodge Charger car
I do not know where we go or where we are
because my friend is a crazy weed smoking bipolar
my friend took me to his home with many empty rooms
his neck smelt of sweet perfume
he played the grand piano and sung me a favorite tune
when I heard" Hotel California,"I was over the moon
he played,"I can't make you love me "
and it matched us perfectly
The piano man is from Tennessee
he was a song writer on CD
he played gospel for evangelist on tv
Jeffery took me to music town in Memphis Mississippi
and played the grand piano at the Peabody
Jeffery lit up the room with a magical tune on the piano
a talented woman sang ,"Crying Over You, "in soprano
there was much applauding from Peabody guest
that Jeffery Martin was hired by manager request
I saw marching ducks at the Peabody
and a big crowd in the hotel lobby
Jefferey was waiting for bell boy on top of whisky
I wondered if his driving us home would be risky

I have not finished painting on the jelly the persnickety cat said.
The lacksadaisical cat laughed, she is flexible in her head.
The Meow Hotel has high standards said Mr. Peabody One.
Smart Aleck Cat knew then she was about to have fun.
She ran with the toast to room four thirty-two.
When they answered she meowed “how do you do”?
That’s not the way we serve. Where is the rose?
Smart Aleck Cat laughed from her head to her toes.
I am serious Mr. Peabody One said, angry now.
He was so irritated. She said, “Don’t have a cow!”
I guess they never married, my listener said.
“They actually did, and they remain wed.”

She rolled her head down the hill
It picked up speed and lots of dirt and stuff
It began spitting out bugs and dust
Hey! Didn’t you need that for a math test?
Mrs. Peabody, a truly nosey neighbor asked her.
The head stuck out its tongue
And it laughed.
Some people blathered about
Trying to insist she put her head back on.
She walked to school headless
Loving the wind in her neck.

Anybody who is or was anybody,
Has had them,
I don't know anyone who has avoided them yet
If you have not experienced them yet
They are not a dream,
Just ask Mr Peabody.
Churchill was sick of the sight of them,
They are a delight to nobody,
Not even a vet.
The good news is most of us come out of them,
If our number we don't forget,
That is the opinion of this body.

Fifty-one years ago, today, on September 21, 1967, Kindness appeared in the form of Fred McFeely Rogers, with his neighborhood of make-believe. We allowed him to enter our homes and support us in encouraging our children, building in them a strong sense of self and acceptance of others. Parents who took time to share the experience were shown the power of kindness and the beneficial effect it could have on their children's development, both physically and mentally. Fred Rogers received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, 40 honorary degrees, and a Peabody Award, in addition to other honors. The Smithsonian Institution displays one of his trademark sweaters as a "Treasure of American History." Fred Rogers died on February 27, 2003, at the age of 74.
sure as the sun’s warmth
your kindness was felt by all…
you were our neighbor

He was the last of the Eight she bore
From the Discomfort of her belly came his sweet face
His single Blazing blue eye could not disgrace
The unique look of his spirit we Adore
It is his Paragon of naughtiness to embody
His Pulchritude brings smiles as his ears brush the ground
It was a lucky Revelation that led him to be found
He is Charisma galore, our Mr. Peabody!

Peabody and Little Miss, checkin' out the kitchen
Knockin' over the trash can to get the treats inside
When caught, he runs out the back door to escape friction
While she jumps on the counter to find a place to hide
Peabody and Little Miss, explorin' out back
So many socks to bury, so many balls detected!
She sees the tiny bird and goes on the attack
While he warns, "This is MY yard - it will be PROTECTED!"
Peabody and Little Miss didn't always get along
Little Miss was a gift of long-ago Christmas morn
When Peabody arrived last year, she hissed, "You don't belong!"
But now they are as close as brother-sister born
Peabody and Little Miss are ready for their cat-nap
Satisfied with everything they left topsy-turvy
So Peabody launches his forty pounds into my lap
And Little Miss follows him up, delicate and curvy
Peabody and Little Miss are true collabarators
Leaving chaos in my house that's now two times greater!

Cat Crimes and Misdemeanors
Five cats came into town in a 57 Chevy
To rob Bank of America with AK-47s
They blew in through the doors with a meow
Demanded attention…now!
No one would pet them
Patrons cringed in fear and fell
This was no ordinary crime
All five were charged with trespassing among other things
And that was just the beginning
Detectives figured out quite quickly
Cats don’t drive old cars, especially kitties
Who have no licenses or opposable thumbs
So they could not pull the triggers
Old widow, Mrs. Peabody, the driver of the Chevy
Took her kittens with her for the drive
A deposit, the only thing on her mind
Thank God it was not a capital or high crime
But she and the cats were fined
Charged with misdemeanors
As for the AK-47s
They were toys strapped to their sides for fun
Cats only meow. They don’t shoot guns
They don't commit crimes
That is, not at this time

The squelching heat has of no effect
on the air-conditioned Minute Men
as they survey the desert land.
Keeping ever vigilant
against the alien brown skins
that endlessly cross their borders.
These pressed khaki pant militias
devoutly scour the arid passageways
equipped with bottled water,
binoculars, and cell phones.
Guarding the roads
to the ancient canyons of the Navajo
and the Peabody Mining Company.
Or through the Mexican Missions
that predate California.
Territory good Anglo American's
recently inherited
from the parents of rape and murder.
God bless America
and God save the Minute Men.
