Pay As You Go Poems | Examples

The Blue Garden

15 minute city going down slow...
10,000 vehicles, everyone going
Live in the bottleneck, nowhere to go.
New coffee houses replace the old
Old coffee houses now closed
New owners can't speak English,
Old coffee, new coffee double the cost
Old sandwich, new sandwich
Ten times the price of rice, well,
Isn't that nice!
No public restrooms, pay as you go
If you have to pee, ask for the key
What am I doing here? Who am I?
Where do I go from here? Why do I care?
We've spent the whole world
Trying to kowtow and defer
To tyrants and idiots
Bureau socratics,
These giant rat bastards
Who hijacked our future.
What makes me think
I'll be able to
Get out of this life alive? ~psp

Premium Member Build the Wall

Build the wall I hear them scream
Like this is some American dream
Why don’t we build that wall for all to see
Completely around Washington D.C.
We could charge admission, pay as you go
Come see the clowns at the circus show
An elephant and jackass will be the sign
Bring your own booze and I’ll bring mine
Mainstream media will bring us the latest
The ringmaster will tell you why he’s the greatest
The comedy show won’t be hard to sell
The performers are paid and we pay them well
Once you’re corrupted you can be hired
Worship the ringmaster or find yourself fired
While we build the wall we can dig a ditch
Bury the evidence while the rich get rich
So build the wall for all to see
But walls do not make people free
Of humanity the far right’s bereft
No patriotism within the left
We are slowly watching our country fall
Around D.C. please build the wall

Pay As You Go

*blackout poem*

Time...without change
       Month...days...following
Redemption.
          As you go.
Avaliable balance...depleted...
    Suspended.
Terms...plans...details
   Partial minutes.
          No redemption...not responsible
Lost...terms and conditions.
   No value until activated.
Pay as you go...
   Then visit...gray box.

Just Pay As You Go

Just pay as you go
I know who your real
Father is

Winsome boy looks
Styles a quick peek;
Then goes to school

In still moments
A touch of joy;
Another year succeeds

~~~~~~~~~
Zest in a fest
Breeze sure ease;
Wake joy profound
~~~~~~~~~

Brisk as s breeze
Easy strides here;
Active walking moments

~~~~~~~~~
Seek to find
What seems lost;
Realise the truth
~~~~~~~~~

Sly smile curls
Drool of crafty eyes;
Await menu strange

~~~~~~~~~
January wet spread
Monsoon winds sway;
Pregnant agenda
~~~~~~~~~

Weekday shopping mall
Random strides stray;
Another Sale

~~~~~~~~~
Late dinner buy
Takeaway meal packs;
Detour spreads thin
~~~~~~~~~

Drowsy eyes droop
Let noon siesta;
Dreamy delicacy

~~~~~~~~~
Sense haiku zest
Empty corner seat;
Waiting for deep poise
~~~~~~~~~

Why question?
Answers float away;
Classic quotes hint

~~~~~~~~~
Bills arrive
Punctual as usual;
Pay as you go
~~~~~~~~~

No tickee, no washee
You pay as you go
There are no free rides
As everyone knows
Yet some people try
Their gol' darn best
To beat the system
Get ahead of the rest

Like everyone else
They must play by the rules
Do they think we're all
Just a bunch of old fools?
To take advantage
Of us trusting souls
That way of thinking
Is all full of holes

Writing us off
Would be quite premature
We've still got the smarts
And that is for sure
We may appear stodgy
And slow to react
But years of experience
Has taught us the knack

Of dealing with shysters
And disreputable felons
These guys are operating
With screwed up melons
They'll get their comeuppance
One day down the road
When they meet their maker
And have to unload

And explain why they acted
So poorly down here
They won't have excuses
For not playing fair
Banished to purgatory
And left there forever
To never experience
Heaven's glorious weather

No tickee, no washie
A familiar old refrain
From the beginning of time
The rules are the same
Treat fellow beings
With love and respect
You'll get back in spades
The admiration you expect

Confusion

I needed a new mobile phone,
But which one do I choose?
I want a Blackberry it looks so cool
So many apps, more that I can use.
I looked again at the phones on sale
I’ve lost my mind, I’m so confused
Maybe a Nokia or another Samsung
Then I saw it, I had nothing to lose.
I have a new phone that’s really cute
It has even inspired my creative muse
A sexy little Alcatel on Orange pay as you go
They have given me ten quid to use.
Now there is only one problem left you see
The instructions have got me all confused!

Feeling a Bit Ginger

There is a Ginger girl I see
Whom I see professionally
In a strictly sexual capacity

She is a lady of the night
A tart or a hooker, called Delight
Ok she’s a prostitute, alright?

But I call my sweet little ho
The dirty Ginger girl I know
My Orange pay as you go
