It was my duty
to fight and conquer
for my country needs me,
and so I dress
in protective clothing
a helmet on my head.
I climb a small hill,
with belts of bullets
all around my stout neck
for it's my duty
to help my country
and save the little babes.
I am a partisan,
I do my duty.
I kill my enemies
and save all else.
I know it's risky,
One day, I'll die,
It matters not
My duty calls.
But if I die,
bury near a river
beneath a lovely willow tree.
And a stone cross
should mark my resting place.
Just write
He did not die in vain.

As a person of lay,
I do watch in dismay.
All these government rubes,
look like fools on our tubes.
Playing silly games,
as you try and bring the shame,
upon this President Trump
voted in by us "chumps".
No respect for his position,
wasting time, an inquisition.
So you try to apply
allegations and lies,
to behavior they say,
was in a criminal way.
We are all quite aware
from the partisan glares,
your positions, ivory towers,
just a ploy to regain power.
From before the swearing in,
you can't stand that he did win.
So you bore us, day by day,
with these stupid games you play.
Well,
you should all hang heads ashamed,
for it's our country, that you've defamed!

Engagement and conversation, political talking points I hear
But then, all things are becoming politically motivated I fear
Most politicians or Diplomats the truth won’t let you know
It’s always for our benefit, just one big Dog & Pony show
They sit enacting law for all except themselves they exempt
With approval stuck at 12% the public shows their contempt
It’s all about staying in power and enjoying their gravy train
Trading freebies for votes while putting our budget in a strain
But we sent them there by vote and they’re so into staying
While they run our country aground, I’ll continue praying

There once was a little snowflake,
though America a mistake,
so he went to Iran,
spoke his mind and was hanged,
he learned his lesson far too late.
