Heart Palpitations

So sick of this world and generation
they tryna take ahold of my heart confiscation
the taste is bitter or tart
when it turns to ashes
cremation

I still got attachments i'm full of frustration
love seems to be my passion
eternally waitin
cant find as if its out of fashion, yet i still got patience
bout to have me ration and give up on this nation
everytime its me they blastin
stuck with these heart palpitations
i ain't see, she wore the mask in
My body desecratin
feel like a jew and she a nazi
way my life she began takin
my love grew thats when she popped me
took a bite, her heart was laced in
some ain't taste right and not long after steady hallucinatin

Would you like to tickle my doodle
I'll tickle yours if you also toot my bugle
What in tarnation
Is causing my palpitations
Caused by a game of lacrosse quite brutal

Loud Palpitations

She has a heart like thunder
That boomed conspicuously.
A heart so loud,
It touched even these faint ears.
She helped lead me on a path
I didn’t know I wanted to go on.
She found in me,
Something I never expected to find.
She believes in me,
More than I can say about myself.
But that’s really all I need,
A persistent propagator.
Because if I am given up on
If faith in me is lost,
I will lose faith in myself too.
But I will never have to worry,
For her heart is thunder.
And if lightning strikes upon misfortune,
She will remind me of the rainbow to come.

PALpitations

Down through the years I’ve had my share
Of furry, fuzzy friends
Who found the place inside my heart
Where unconditional love begins.

I’ve seen them born, and watched them die,
As grieving tears ran from my eyes.
Some I owned - and some owned me –
All blessed me with their loyalty.

Be it just a precious spotted pup
Or cute and cuddly kitten –
You’ll find that this old wordsmith’s heart -
Will always be equally smitten.

The Palpitations of a Broken Heart

How my raw heart raved
At the news of your departure
For them that can read
The sands of a forlorn heart
Will the rains ever come again
And hover my lover back to me?

I groped for the blind guide
Swore to fence his inner sight
To eternally end his thieving me
Of the only pearl
That my heart longs to keep:
That my eyes long to behold!

I cried on my mother’s lap
‘Let me be; I must have her
I must fly after her!’

Was all that forsoothing
No more than just a hoodwink-
A coquette’s meanly premium?

These torrid passions
Of a lonely heart
Have torn an unforgettable path
Thru’ the hows, whys and wherefores
Of a gallant search
For something to treasure!

Were I a prince, a poet or even a pauper
I would lead a chaste life
I would attend to my calling
Forget all the wicked nightmares
And attune to a life of celibacy and negritude
I would forfeit the worldly harvest!

You who travel to her nooks and corners
Will you tell me what’s behind the horizon?
What clouds hide me from her skyline?
Is there another star under God’s heaven
That shines brighter in her heart1
Tell me- my vigilant sensibilities.

Rapid Palpitations

Hearts jump faster and faster,
The sight of escaping breath
And it's all history from here.

Hand in hand with the harlot
Treading on shattered glass
You turn your head away in fear.

Elope and never turn back
Stowaway in an empty heart
And pray for any way out.

Fall into eyes of the darkest hole,
Wanting and needing forever
As hearts jump faster and faster.

~I’m so romantically inclined
Her name is Rosa Marie
Ripe as tomato on a vine
Voluptuous hips, legs splendidly,
reaching always up to hips, you see

~A goddess as a female form
Heart’s on fire for juicy tomato
Hype of ripe way past standard norm
Like an addiction that won’t let go,
and whirlwind that just won’t slow

~She sways a ways and I phase
The swelling of her melons
The cooing of her voice and ways
Would cause men to commit felons,
have heart eruptions like Saint Helen’s

~Seeing is pleasing to one’s heart
My awesome, my sweet enough to eat
Stacked like groceries on a cart
Heart palpitation's failure at discrete,
at seeing all of Rosa, such a treat
