Loud Palpitations

She has a heart like thunder That boomed conspicuously. A heart so loud, It touched even these faint ears. She helped lead me on a path I didn’t know I wanted to go on. She found in me, Something I never expected to find. She believes in me, More than I can say about myself. But that’s really all I need, A persistent propagator. Because if I am given up on If faith in me is lost, I will lose faith in myself too. But I will never have to worry, For her heart is thunder.
