Premium Member When Dark Clouds Overshadowed the Sun's Ray

When dark clouds overshadow the sun’s ray
And gloom spreads over the countryside
While the daisies bowed their heads to pray,

Knowing they have this last somber day
Before their golden petals are thrust aside
When dark clouds overshadow the sun’s ray.

After the rain, I stroll the meadow highway
In early afternoon, happy and wide-eyed,
While the daisies bowed their heads to pray.

The meadow is no longer in grand array
As autumn soon summer’s blooms override
When dark clouds overshadow the sun’s ray

Rainbow spotted during my afternoon getaway
Adorned like a midsummer’s waiting bride,
While the daisies bow their heads to pray

The morning was a gloomy, disappointing gray
Watching the season changed, I admit I cried
When dark clouds overshadow the sun’s ray,
While the daisies bow their heads to pray.

Overshadowed By Light

Vomited by life,
             needy at night,
             the abandoned of the street,
they have no names, only nicknames ...
             Among banned dogs,
             don't live, survive...
             Homeless, colorless, dropped ...
             When the full night dries,
and the day fills the avenue, and
sweep the alleys of brightness ... they fade
             so weak ... can't stand
             so much vivacity ...
             It's not people, it's haunts
from the dark ... the so-called
             lost, the obscure,
             overshadowed by the light ...
             False light of men ...!

Overshadowed

I know I can be wrong
But inside I know I’m right…Overshadowed

Light and hope my faithful friends
Darkness and cruelty all around me…Overshadowed

Brief moments of freedom keep my peace
Yet I am a slave to my decisions…Overshadowed

My strongest source of light my weakest point
My strength and honor my destruction…Overshadowed

The once warm, gentle touch of my lover
Has turned to cold lust that invades me
Like the death of our intimacy…
And I am Overshadowed

Even the sun in the sky is Overshadowed
By the clouds hanging over my head

And if it is true…
That even in the dark, you can still see the light
Then it must also be true…
That even in the light, you can still feel the dark…
As if my shadow, one step behind
Ever waiting to creep back in and steal my integrity…

And I am Overshadowed

Irrationality Overshadowed

needless irrationally based volatile situations
overshadowed all rationality that remained
alive within the realm of reality that the
past self inhibited till one day
irrationality finally overtook the
space that was left uninhibited

Overshadowed

OVERSHADOWED

I was not ready as the
white clouds over
shadowed
rearing up and
dragging
me in four directions
north south east west

there are too many colors
too many detoured
directions
I am still . Is this the
calm before the storm?

I talk...
to myself set
apart from the stark
reality of
mountains and contours

old wounds will close
valleys will cry
out their healing
heights. Happy little
lambs that are pure
and innocent again

washed by His blood
overshadowed
shame

as the vain
narcissus
open innocent
white faces in
the vineyards
of a fruitless
life

Tall Men Overshadow Small Men Who Overshadow Smaller Men Who Are Overshadowed By Tall Men

tall men overshadow the small men
in great sadness we all fall down
joy abounds from the inside of hearts and souls
tears fall like stars
onto the cracked pavements of old
