Premium MemberTwo Hells

One day from this hell I’ll escape
To the hell of the lesser disgrace
I’m fed up with the country of apes
Imitating they are human race
Their antics are no more a fun
How the apes idolize alpha male
Is painful to watch, so I’ll run
There’s no reason to stay, no avail
However, the more decent hell
Is way too much overprotected
If you lack the most horrible bio to tell
Most likely, soon you’ll be directed
Back to where you come from, because
This superior hell is considered asylum
For the millions of seekers, and those
Who slip through and police never finds them
Between these two hells there’s a space
With a runaway line to the skies
There’s no promise if I get my place
But to find it I’ll pay any price
Though you can sneer: both hells
Is an overused, flat metaphor
Mate, I’m glad you can’t hear those bells
See, another one’s coming, and more.

MOTHER DAY

MOTHER DAY

It's not easy to write a mothers day poem
She has watched you ever since you were born
She never makes any kind of fuss
She always took care of us
She was always there to listen and discuss
Sometimes she would be overprotected
But her raising us was always effective
And she is a mother that will always be respected
She never asks for much in her life
She just wants to be a perfect mother and wife
You know she will be a perfect parent
And a great-grandparent
And you know you will never be embarrassed
This is why we all listen when she speaks
These are just a small amount of a mother's qualities
This is why any mother is unique

Premium MemberTaurus

The people born under the zodiac sign of the bull,
Are projected to have a loving yet, determined nature,
Usually accompanied by sympathy and warmth.
Relationships and friendships are valued, yet so fragile,
Understandably, they are pampered and overprotected,
Suggesting stubbornness is also a prominent trait.

Strange Thoughts In Quarantine

how i walk in the sunshine
so incomplete
too surreal

how i pivot off my left foot
so right handed acting
so fictitional

how i place my hand on the doorknob
so obviously anxious
so internally enraged

how my clothes metaphorically rip off my body
so green with spots of grey aging
so overprotected and caged

Overprotected Heart

Overprotected Heart

A broken heart
Pieces kept together by razor wire
Such pain
Wounds from the last moment I saw you
Did you know that your words had such power?
Did you know that my heart would fall apart?
No silk threads would seal the chasms
It frayed and tore with every word
Not a drop of blood was spilt
There was none left after your attack
The sharpness of the razor wire
Its shiny points wrapped around my heart
Stabbing into the gentle muscle
Drops of blood on the tip of every blade
They reminds me of your words
The hurt you caused
It stops others from getting in
Not giving them the chance to do what you did
My heart is protected from hurt
From you and your meanness
Protected from love and happiness
All because of you

My Love Not Meant To Be.

My love for you I hold true
my feeling lost or confused
Not sure which one to hear
My thoughts so dark

My mind full of doubt
My heart covered my walls once more
For them to fall I must fall
Let all defenses fail

Let my heart protect it's self
To see my self looking at you
Only confusion fills my mind

My heart and soul
They bleed pain
Confusion, Hate
I fear my self and my heart

My mind does not even know
What is possible
If I show the world my love

They'll turn in despair
My only hope no is to run

Run form those like you
Of whom I Love
My heart is lost

No help for me
Only pain
Confusion takes over
No more free will
Overprotected by my heart

What else to think
But no love for me

My Life

I was born on Innocent and Naïve Avenues.
My parents tried to stay, but Landlady Life evicted us
Just like everyone else.
“It’s time to discover new parts of town.” she said.
So they moved me to Discipline Drive and Overprotected Street.
A prime location on the Path to Success
I tried to run away many times, but the Traffic Light and the Crosswalk always pumped the
brakes.

Eventually, I found myself in the forbidden county of Depression.
The Streetlights showed me the way home, but Lonely Lane and Misunderstood Place was my
new address.
When the constant storms destroyed my shelter, I decided to try to
find this enchanted Land they call Happiness.
The directions say to pass the towns of Optimism, Faith and Trust.
 I took the shortcut.
It led me to the Undertaker who stands at the Road to Nowhere.

“How do you get to the Land of Happiness?” I asked.
“Make a right, another right
And a left.
You can’t miss it.”
