Observing Death
Look into the trench when a bomblet falls
Squirms without legs, excruciating balls
It means nothing him squirming, twisting in pain
I eagerly search, to find more of the same.
It’s not a film the loss is real
Surprises me, how little I feel
Blood and guts hanging around
A burst of fire, death curdling sound.
A loud cheer erupts as they fall
And I feel nothing, nothing at all.
After all they have done invading Ukraine
I want to see them wounded and dying in pain
They’ve raped, tortured, looted and maimed
And now they’re killed under bullets of rain
I enlarge the screen, to enhance the view
Of an orc dying, because his time is due
War has a way, of raising the tolerance bar
A sniper takes aim, bullets riddle a car.
I don’t feel sickened as I eat my tea
It’s most important that Ukraine is free.

Metaverse
Is the Metaverse a haven of freedom?
The realm of virtual reality or bedlam
New world where eyes shift and roam
Or an ugly malevolent Orc not a lamb?
__The answer dwells in the dark web of the unknown...

Some poems are pretty, daring and fun.
Some are jazzy and gutsy, made on the run.
Some poems are dark, gothic, and cruel.
Some are about delicacies that make me drool.
I intend to read one, two at the most.
But they snap me up, showing me their host.
I fall in love with so many each day,
I soon get completely carried away.
Just one more, I assure my impatient self.
But the next one includes orc, blarf, and elf.
Gargoyle magic gives me the eye from the next one.
These fantastic authors are creating lots of fun!
I devour and read my daylight hours away.
Some poems prance in my head all night long.
Some wake me up, and laugh as they say
Let’s get up and write some, no matter how wrong.
The odor is intolerable
Like a foul beast clinging to the end
I can barely subdue its subterfuge
But here I am,
I’m standing here of sound and mind
Waiting for the time that answers my own questions
Can it race with the fires of Orc?
Doubtful, but it can jog steadily can’t it?
The weather is awful, filled with sounds
Penetrating a document not written
It pains me to fight through the night
Not because it’s dark, but because I am just a shadow.
Lester drives but
Motional lasts forever
Still driving
Still crying
And slowly dying as time waves on
Like oceans that can’t be seen.
Nobody cares and everyone listens
Ironic, like a bible that holds lies and deception
Can its will be pierced?
Can freedom stay free?
Is it worth it to stay hooked when everyone around
Seeks liberty?
Fire n passion
I lived an died an was crucified,
and fought with fire an passion,
slaughtered, gore n death came for,
till we had received our ration :(
we held the line on the mountainside,
a cleft between two hills,
the blood ran down the mountainside,
the little pools were filled,
but they came again the gamest men,
my sword it snapped in two,
I caught up another’s broad sword,
And the leader, I ran him through,
We fought all day, till they went away,
It was too slippery to walk,
The blood ran down the mountain trail,
And the Crows came there, aaark orc.
Don Johnson
The spell of the
ring
proved too powerful
for his proud heart
He broke the promise
which bound the nine
walkers
By trying to take the one
from Frodo
and bring it to Minas Tirith
for the defense of that city
Frodo fled from him
Boromir then faced orc arrows
He fought bravely to the end
but realized his mistake too late
He died defending the hobbits
Too many orc arrows
struck him
He died a hero's dath
His body - along with his broken horn
were sent down the Anduin
Thus passed Boromir
son of Denethor
Deeply they dig
Delving into the hearts
of mountains
Masters of stone
They create underground
palaces
Slowly chipping away
at rocks
They enhance the beauty
of the natural world
They can be fierce foes
Many an orc lost his
head to their axes
The bearded ones
could not fight
the Shadow of Sauron
alone
As Gandalf said"he
is beyond the dwarves of this world
even if they could be gathered together from
the four corners of the world"
The Fellowship of
the Ring
counted one stout
dwarf
in its company
Gimli, by name showed
the tender side
of his people
He waw the elven - queen Galadriel
And knew her beuaty
matched that
of all the "mirthril" of
the world
Gruff exteriors hide
good hearts
When Durin returns
the dwarves
will rejoice
Together with the varied
races of Middle Earth
whom they had a
part
in saving
Rugged room of like cavern, mountain.
Beneath is a stream of hot fluid.
Sole soak the Lord of the rings can bleed.
A meteorite quiet fountain.
Hot golden lava slowly strickles;
Behold, floats Gollum the monstrous ghoul.
To the volcano's bluff, it fast crawls.
At last, came and flaming fright bristles.
Before, like princely film, in air, hoofs.
Hole gate of Mordok to interfuse.
Volcano's chamber choked to peruse.
Lava ripples as the mist storms soft.
Now, Gollum reels with a nova, sonic.
Strikes the vale about, corpses quicken.
An army grows of ressurection.
Orc bones and rotten flesh- demonic.
