Fallen Warrior

The spell of the ring proved too powerful for his proud heart He broke the promise which bound the nine walkers By trying to take the one from Frodo and bring it to Minas Tirith for the defense of that city Frodo fled from him Boromir then faced orc arrows He fought bravely to the end but realized his mistake too late He died defending the hobbits Too many orc arrows struck him He died a hero's dath His body - along with his broken horn were sent down the Anduin Thus passed Boromir son of Denethor
