Diamonds are Forever
(Black Diamonds in Africa,
acquired in the Orange River)

Shinning rocks on the ground,
fallen stars from heaven...
or so they appear.
Men willing to live, and to die,
for just a piece of the pie,
a slice of the moon,
until the tune,
turns dark, ugly,
and unreal.

Feel the money in your hands,
the dreams that spin outward,
while killing those you love
inwardly.

Wars between the haves and the have not's,
that take the form of hunger and thirst.
Black rocks, tumbling by
in the shallows
when the river is high,
but only slowly
when it is not on the go.

Swim and feel the stones,
the cold stones,
that lead to the path of destruction.
Too many worth too much,
or not enough.
A monopoly in the mud,
a kingdom in the dirt.
Forever will you hurt the land,
and the people...
who try to stand against the men,
that got there first
and own everything
that never belonged to them.
It is a sin.

(Diamonds are just rocks. There are enough held in secure places to flood the market. They would be of no value at all if that happened.)

A Kiss Scares Me

Africa

AFRICA
Africa! A land of many nations,
Full of cultural heritage,
Endowed with untapped attribute,
Has been present since the stone age.

A continent built on a strong basement,
Gifted with natural endowment,
The Niger river of Nigeria,
The Kilimanjaro Mountain of Tanzania.
Africa! Rich in mineral deposit,
The oil wells of Nigeria,
And the copper deposite
Located in north Rhodesia.

Nile river of Egypt,
Orange River of South Africa,
Indeed Africa is blessed,
What an awesome craft of God.

African Way

The way I walk
Was through thick and thin
With invisible tears
Tightened my belt all the way
Like a basic of a brave warrior

The way I walk
Was for the monster crying
The monstrousness milking
With the jungle full of beasts
With a squeaking Mopani trees
With path near peeping baobab

The way I walk
Was to teach me to control my wakeups
was good to teach me to compare data and view
was good to teach me to see things other way
it was good to see if I trust myself
the way with bravery to masquerade

The way I walk
Was not for coward
It was a stretched walk
And a disagreeable way
But worth Orange River diamond

The way I walk
Was to convince myself to see my future
To prepare personally for anything tricky
The way with guts, I must to live to tell the tale
That is the way I walk

My Sweet Baby

My sweet baby please don’t cry
You’ll be safe and warm all through the night

Let magic dreams fill up your head
Cuddle up in your soft little bed

In enchanted kingdoms sail your dreams
On a paper ship on sherbet streams

On the orange river as it ebbs and flows
Sail on gentile waves past blue plateaus

Lemon like sun in the midday sky
Singing over your head parrots fly

Ride your ship till it comes to rest
Along a gumdrop shore travel west

Climb up the bank where the grass grows green
Summer rays light the meadow scene

With Gnomes and Pixies you dance and play
Under the warm summer sun all day

With Pixie dust all over your head
You fly back home to your own warm bed
