Opens Poems

Premium MemberThe gate opens inward

Ghostly fear forms, a dark gossamer web,
caged my consciousness once cradled by bliss
but try as I might, my pain did not ebb,
hurtling me down a bottomless abyss.

Feeling grief-stricken, situation grave,
my weary, groaning soul godforsaken,
searched for heaven’s gate, so that God may save
me from dark despair that left mind shaken.

Trauma bonding with fear no more, I paused,
shifting to heart, pushing open love’s gate,
engulfed in bliss mists, pure intent had caused,
breath by breath reshaping my earth life fate.

Walking the path of light, God-search I start ~
He dwells in the cave of my glowing heart

Premium MemberOne petal alone opens

A lone petal unfurls
not a bloom,
not a flower,
no use to bees,
as one decrepit.
It's on its knees
trying to please
all alone.

It's an echo of a question,
yet to be asked.
It's a pose, unpoised, unprompted.
It's one eye, nose, or ear,
in defaced mask.
It's a one-handed clap,
an air-kiss from poked puckered lips
It's a hand-shake request
never returned.
a promise never spoken
a swing never swung
a trip never begun
a tear shed in solitude
a wave goodbye, never returned,
It's a mantra or
a musical note recited only once.
All these are clones of
of singularities,
koan and kin.

Premium MemberDionysus Opens the Feast

In rare gustation dine we here tonight!
For you, my feast; for me, your pleasant sight!
And for them both, I raise my glass to cheer:
Let all that’s sober end before the year!
Let music, wine and wantonness prevail!
Let revelry erase the dry and stale!
And light your mortal youth that burns so strong,
For I, the God of Wine, who’s lived too long.
And when my followers stand - or rather, sprawl -
Across the landscape, shall the dreary fall!
And when my wine the final frown shall lift,
Then sprawled amidst the rest, I’ll share the gift!

Let wine make us wise, and feasting for all!
Till morning shall rise, or each of us fall!

Evil sobriety! It shall not last the night!
For I have found munitions, ample for the fight!

The vine divine, from whence the grapes of wine!
I tend its thirsts, and it doth water mine!

The beasties of the Earth and air,
I do invite to be my fare!

Premium MemberA petal opens

Knowing by becoming, what’s there to say,
about the way love’s appeal makes us feel,
the komorebi dance of a sun ray,
frolicking in the void with zest and zeal,
yet choosing before God in heart to kneel?
The staff of power within magnetised
with Holy Spirit, truth thus realised,
simply upon plugging energy leak,
as living light in this form crystallised,
we see we’re he we had set out to seek.

Premium MemberThe door opens inward

“We can ascend, if we so choose
Making love and light, our heart’s muse”
      ~ quote by poet

Holy Spirit works upon feeble form,
without employing any use of force,
thus progress is faster, if we conform.

Soul turns inward when heart’s filled with remorse,
disillusioned with the world external,
living internally, changing life’s course.

The fire of desire is hell infernal
but no sooner we befriend the vast void,
we imbibe rapture of bliss eternal.

Benign bliss burns see delusion destroyed,
whence our soul’s light shines, pure and unalloyed.

Our auras caress,
heart lotus awaiting touch,
that love may blossom within.

The light that ignites
candle wicks in hearts barren,
is magic God Himself wields.

When one door opens Joe Bonamassa Song

Joe's song inspires,
But what transpires?
Door can open anywhere,
Does it lead nowhere?
None escape life alive,
Meanwhile, let's thrive,
None win in this pond,
None come second,
Finally, we're crisps,
Souls become wisps,
No use looking back,
No complaints, great lifehack!

When Heaven Opens Doors

When God decides to bless your family members
He will send the rain of blessings in their lives.
Even if you don't think your candle is bright
You will find out that it was your fake thought.

When Lord  says" Yes " , He means it dear love!
You have to believe and don't lose hope
Because your right time is now
And you will continue to say ," wow...wow..wow!
He did what I did not expect in my life."

Premium MemberCritical Thinking Opens the Mind

Critical thinking is science at work,
not hasty indictment with cynical smirk.
Start by collecting data and facts,
   then analyze, synthesize, hypothesize that.
At final judgement to general position,
evaluate sides for the best supposition.

           Apply reason when testing
           Check facts to the letter
           Challenge your choices
            From good to much better.

Premium MemberHeaven Opens

Wind whispers through the trees
Branches begin to sway
Leaves softly rustling
Sky turning grey

Air becomes colder
Mist descends
Distant thunder rumbles
Branches bend

Wind squalls
Thunder crashes
Intensifying sound
Sky grows bleak
Rain earthbound

Heaven opens
A powerful downpour
Relentless and aggressive
Nature nurtures her land
Glorious and impressive

Premium MemberStand Back When the Door Opens

no matter who opens the door
our dog is the first one through it
we are used to this
but she knocks down other people
if they try to come in unaware
she runs out through her doggie door
and beats them back into the house
we try to warn them
but even though she is older
she is quick
and determined
and a Krutsinger dog
used to being first

Premium MemberA Door Opens

I am a little girl in this dream
and a door opens
to wispy images like an old movie playing ...
I am helping grandma make cookies "a la supreme"
and on a scarred old wooden kitchen chair I sit
and grandma is stroking my hair with her wrinkled hands
as I put the dough on the cookie sheet
telling me ... good job
and even now I can hear her laugh like a sunbeam
it is a wonderful memory
and later, I am laying in grandmas arms
like a kitten purring as she rocks back and forth
humming a song ...
oh, this dream is like a sanctuary and refuge I seek
where again and again I can leave the cruelty
of the world
but now reality is calling for me
so, I let go of this dream of mine
until next time

Premium MemberLilac Opens Way To Summer

water rushing in the brook
livening up the forest

dainty dew drops on verdant grass
lady bugs fly

daffodil leads the flower parade
sharing brilliant yellow

robins and cardinals
sing today's praise songs

brightly colored tulips
showing off their Dutchiness

lilac's unique fragrance
opening up the gateway to summer
