I had a poetic idea last night when I went to bed
But during the night that sucker just up and fled
They say with age comes wisdom not there in youth
But I cant remember anything, that's the sad truth
I have been advised to always keep a pad and pen handy
If I could read my hen scratches that would be just dandy
Its a small miracle that I get any poems written at all
My poor old brain does seems in a permanent stall
I was thinking of starting a support group of some kind
Interested? Call now, before the idea is gone from my mind...
The glorious end and her shaking beginning
The majestic night and the bravura morn
The dark night and the blue morn
December and January
Today tells a tale of yesterday
Today a retrospect of what it was
Break-up’s siamese, make-up
Child and mother
The egg and the fowl
The egg, oh the egg
The rain and the sun
I and we
Can I stand the tall test?
I, I! Like a ram charging
Can I stand the test?
For her patience is wild wild wait.
Friday nights are part everybody's lives. They're considered the weekends. Friday nights
are so great, I wish every day was good Friday. There's a lot of things to do on a Friday,
like going to the movies, going out to eat, and even going to a party. Like when he and/or
she has something planned for Friday night, then they talk about it. Sometimes, Friday
nights are a bit boring, but some of them should really be as more fun as Saturday nights.
It's amazing that we need Friday nights to keep us entertained and whatnot. It's also a
great night to watch some Friday night wrestling. That reminds me of a Lily Allen song,
"Friday Night." How cool is that? And if every night was a Friday night, it'll be like a
relaxing vacation.
Every Monday is just a life-changing moment. Mondays are also considered the
after-the-beginning-of-the-week ones. The weekend's over, which means the kids have to go
to school, and the adults have to go to work. Sometimes all Mondays, are bad ones, but
some of them aren't It's the day for everyone to watch some Monday night football, Monday
night wrestling, like "WWE Monday Night Raw," and watching favorite TV shows on TV.
Everybody knows that every Monday is considered the new beginning of the week after a
Sunday. It seems that not only are Mondays bad and boring, but a bit deadly, as well.
Even when no one wants to get up on Monday mornings, that's bad for some of the people. I
know that not everyone loves Mondays, but some of us do. And when Monday's over after 24
hours, tomorrow's another day.
Words become lonely this night
Thoughts declining to believe
Letters spelling for my veiled sight
Have I a lonesome night to weave?
They were there… everywhere
Those thoughts… those in my mind
But… I can’t seem to care
I must… leave them behind
I am far… far to be near
I am… yet somehow not to be
And to no one I appear
I am… yet no one can see…
So much a thought… I chose one
Yet my choice chosen became unclear
And from my chosen thought…. I run
How have I learn to fear?
Words accompanied my night
Of thoughts did I believe?
Letters spelling for myself to hide
Need I a lonesome night to weave?
I shall hide in my poem,
So that I may kiss your lips as you recite it
Filling it's essence of a heart delighted.
Last night my soul transcended time and space,
I sat upon your bed and gazed
upon your sweet face,
love came and filled my veins and flesh
with out thee oh beloved I cannot rest
thy goodness I cannot measure
for you are that hidden treasure
your secret I will conceal and mines you will not tell
as dawn approached I knew I had to return to my hell
the loneliness of separate separated separation I know all to well
O beloved I came to you at night fall as dream
but now I must leave,
you cried out "Oh Capture the thief" there was know thief it was I the lover that stole one last look at your face prior to returning to this desolate lonely place
