Thief

I shall hide in my poem,
So that I may kiss your lips as you recite it
Filling it's essence of a heart delighted.

Last night my soul transcended time and space,
I sat upon your bed and gazed
upon your sweet face,

love came and filled my veins and flesh
with out thee oh beloved I cannot rest
thy goodness I cannot measure
for you are that hidden treasure

your secret I will conceal and mines you will not tell
as dawn approached I knew I had to return to my hell
the loneliness of separate separated separation I know all to well

O beloved I came to you at night fall as dream
but now I must leave,
you cried out "Oh Capture the thief" there was know thief it was I the lover that stole one last look at your face prior to returning to this desolate lonely place
