- The Villanelle Of The Look MINDSET MISCONCEPTIONS-
Misconceptions babbling unspoken about the look
Deeply was just so broken and outgoing
Forces could never forget the outcome book
Stories miss read, Mindset was shocked by the rook
He found himself feeling rather flowing
Mindset couldn't stop thinking about the look
Misconceptions was spooked by a notebook
He thought the situation had become rather seagoing
But Mindset could never forget the outlook
tried to distract misconception with a hook
Hook-Line and sinker like a fish time to start thinking a boing
Bells ringing couldn't stop ding-donging about the look
Misconception took action like a snook
The look was becoming too easygoing
Mindset could never forget the outlook
Misconception nosedived like a dreamy overlook
His mindset became dangerously glowing
Misconception couldn't stop thinking about the look
But he could never forget the outcome shook

A Villanelle poem type
It all began in the summer of '70.
Prior to then, I'd never heard of you.
By the summer of '71, we were saying, "I love you".
This was the summer I asked, "Would you?, and you said, "Yes".
By the summer of '72, we were at the altar saying, "I do".
By summer of '82, we'd settled out west, 2000 away.
By summer '92, we'd finished having three kids.
In the summer of '94, we had our first grandchild.
By summer 2002, We were still saying, "I love you", and "I do".
Some years, we wanted to say, "We don't", but we didn't.
By summer 2012, the economy nosedived, but we survived.
So here we are in the summer of 2022, with 50 years of "I dos".

Jill couldn't stop thinking about the blacks
she was just so hot and red so mad
But she could never forget the feedback
That morning, Jill was shocked by the sack
She had to calm herself with a tread
Jill couldn't stop thinking about the acts
Those acts of violence against her African-American friends
Later, Jill was spooked by a plaque
She tried to focus on the sacks (over their heads)
But she could never forget the feedback
Boxes filled with rags
Marching wit flags, White supremacist
Jill took action like a crack
The black was like a toxic head
But she could never forget the feedback
tried to distract her with a packs
Said her mind had become too overhead
Jill nosedived like a bad stack
Her mind became dangerously dread
By those people colored medium dark brown
Jill couldn't stop thinking about the blacks
But she could never forget the feedback
Why? Her father was a southern governmental segregationist

Today in Lee County, Florida, a plot was uncovered. Two teens had planned a Columbine style attack on their school. A sad world.
Kids in Cuffs
horror of horrors
horrific to chain kids in cuffs
masked, not from their crime
pandemic primed
studied up
nosedived into the books
of Columbine
horror of horrors
twisted kids
their youthfulness
should be educated
for a favored future
but instead
wanted to escort their classmates
into the hereafter
horror of horrors
kids in cuffs

The director
of the arts center
told me
he was trying real hard
to sign Bukowski
for a reading
but Buk
had the audacity
to die
leaving an open date
on the calendar
and shoes
entirely
too big to fill
were left in the ledger
so it remained
an open date
and a few diehards
drunkenly nosedived
into Black Sparrow titles
spilling cheap wine
and rot gut whiskey
into broken vessels
of humanity
indeed
too sad a spectacle
for me to watch
and yet eyes
remained riveted
and some cheap beer
and rot gut blackberry brandy
found its way
down my own throat
much to my chagrin
and overwhelming reluctance
to ever admit
to such folly
Luke couldn't stop thinking about the boy
It was just so illuminating and cold
But he could never forget the tomboy
That morning, Luke was shocked by the decor
He had to calm himself with a key to uphold
Locked inside of himself stop thinking about the boy
Later, he realized that the boy was coy
He tried to focus on the joy
Beautiful so the wall, the rooms decor
Naomi tried to distract him with an noise
Said it was time to start thinking about a hold
Luke couldn't stop thinking about the boy
Luke took action like an ploy
The boy was like a toxic mold
But he could never forget he’s tomboy
Luke nosedived like a blind troll
His demise was tragically bout to unfold
Luke couldn't stop thinking about the girl
But he could never forget the tomboy Naomi
The girl whom made the loud sounding noise A Villanelle

But she could never forget the cool breeze bay

Sandy wouldn't stop thinking about her Saturday
Just so parallel and very scary
But she could never forget her way
That morning, Sandy was shocked by the display.
She found herself feeling rather contemporary.
Sandy couldn't stop thinking about this Saturday.
She realized that this Saturday was grey
She tried to focus on a library
But she couldn't ever forget the way.
Pluto said Sandy was obsessing too away
Said his mind had become too arbitrary
Sandy couldn't stop thinking about this Saturday.
Sandy took action like a lay
Her Saturday was becoming too preliminary
But he could never forget the way.
Sandy nosedived like a Saturn cache
Her mind turned into a stationery

But she could forget the way about Saturn's day.

I couldn't stop thinking about the June
It's the month so shy and dreamy
But she could never forget soon.
That morning, June was shocked by the moon.
She found herself feeling rather beamy.
April couldn't stop thinking about June.
Later, May was spooked by the moon
She thought the situation had become rather gleamy
But I could never forget her June.
May tried to distract her with a goon.
Said it was time to start thinking about a Niemi
I couldn't stop thinking about June.
June took action like a loon
As April was becoming too creamy
May could never forget that soon.
June nosedived like a warm buffoon
April minds became dangerously seamy
I couldn't stop thinking about my month of June
But she could never forget me soon

Sponsored by: Mohan Chutani
Villanelle poetry form only.
He was just so sad frightening
He would never forget his dread fear
Mourning satin shot by his tears
He found himself feeling sadly, beaming
Couldn't stop singing the blues
Later he was spooked by a ruse
He tried to focus on happy trues
But he could never forget the excuse
She tried to distract him with clues
Of tender burdens bearing ruse
So couldn't stop singing the blues
As unfair and faithful and untrue
He decided to do something to diffuse
this these blues have become to see me
I would not be able to have with you
If I did not love you got to stop them
Those bad dreams that he should never forget the excuse
Nosedived feelings bruised like a ship wrecked mourning saddened blues
Naomi's and Stanley Torment - The Villanelle Of The Home
Naomi couldn't stop thinking about the home
It was just so splendid and perfect
so excited that she was approved of, the loan
That morning, Naomi was shocked by the stones
All around the garden she had to calm herself
Naomi couldn't stop thinking about the foam
All around the kitchen faucet
The hot water came out cold and salty
She tried to focus on a plumber
But she could never remember the number
Stanley her husband tried to distract her with a hug a kiss
Said it was time to start thinking about an a home inspection
Naomi couldn't stop thinking about the homes misdirection
Naomi took action like a champ
The home was becoming too circumspect
But she could never forget the tone
As her husband took the roll
Before signing the closing papers
Naomi nosedived like a happy baby born
Her mind turned into a defect

But she could never forget the passing loan
Before hand the plumbers came and fixed the problem
