Suzanne's Torment - The Villanelle of the Day
Suzanne couldn't stop thinking about the day
Hot! It was just so dry and black
Temperatures so hot never forget the way
That morning, Suzanne was shocked by the cache
Hot! She had to calm herself with a ice sac
Suzanne couldn't stop thinking about the day
Later, Suzanne was spooked by the way
She tried to focus on a cold rack
But she could never forget the bay
Heat tried to distract her while at play
Said it was time to start thinking about a pack
Suzanne couldn't stop thinking about the day
Suzanne took action like to say
The day was becoming cool too slack
But she could never forget the bay
Suzanne nosedived like a hot way
Her mind turned into a crack
Suzanne couldn't stop thinking about the day
But she could never forget the cool breeze bay
