How many times do we humans reflect
On one of the most famous moments in history?
And this is the key to unlocking
The answers to what once was a mystery!
"One man sinned so death spread to all"
How often angered this makes people feel.
To balance, "One died so all could live"
And every wound this one would heal.
On Nisan 14, two millenniums back
After the sun had set,
A remembrance service was established.
Kept simple so none would forget
The value of this person's life,
The purpose of this special occasion,
Why this event strengthens the hope
Of hearts filled with deep appreciation.
On March 24th after sundown this year
You are warmly welcome, one-and-all
To join us in remembering Jesus' love
At your nearest Kingdom Hall.
To learn all about what Jesus did,
What he will do in the future, and more...

GOD’S ONLY BEGOTTEN SON
Jesus is God’s “Only Begotten” son,
“sons of the true God”, Gen. 6:2, verse shows God had other sons … not just one.
Sometime between March and April, Christ died,
most know on Nisan 14th, this was done.
December not when Christ born … somebody lied.
Fast forward six months from April see why.
December birth, is a lie, why truth hide? birth /tween September / October … no lie.
God’s only begotten son, paid ransom,
came to earth make God’s name known, and to die,
all must faithful be to the end … each one.
Jesus, Messiah and the Prince of Peace
is now the reigning King of God’s kingdom,
on earth soon … pain, death, and dying will cease.
Jesus first born of creation, God’s son
the “Only Begotten”, Christ the only one.
Only one called the only begotten.
on Paradise Earth … will bring eternal peace.

Passover’s month is the New Year
for Israelite Kings
I know that seems like
a crazy thing… but back in the day
Jews used to date
the start of a king’s reign
by its proximity to Nisan
the month Passover’s in…
So, if a king was crowned
a week before Nisan began
By Passover he was in the second year
of his reign’s lifespan…
Now if you’ve always thought of Nisan
as the first Japanese-American car
Well, here’s this poem ~ and there you are

NISAN 14
Memorial of Jesus' Sacrifice
Today is the actual day Jesus died for us
It's according to the Jewish Calendar
He died at dusk
A Christian symbol; salamander
ancient for keeping temptation away
That is what I'll do for Him today
On this very holy day, on my knees I pray
to thee, my Savior
Lead us not into temptation
Keep doing this in remembrance of me--Luke 22:19
Good Friday

He died today
He died today, for both you and me
keeping intact his righteous human dignity
Died like a criminal he was hated and despised
With divine love for you, do you even realize?
He died today, not because he did something wrong
but to save you and me, now to him we belong
When someone dies for you, how do you feel?
Do you even understand it, to you is it real?
He died today, because he chose to do God's will
Without his sacrifice, we'd all be slaves to sin still
Because of his altruistic, self-sacrificing love
We can be forgiven, by our heavenly Father above
He died today, after sunset, it was the Passover of Nisan 14
after sundown tonight, we remember the events in between
He had his last supper in company with his faithful friends
then his enemy betrayed him, his life would soon end
He died today, bruised and battered but he was innocent
he was a perfect man, a ransom for us, that was heaven sent
We cannot forget the great love that to us was shown
We now live in eternal gratitude, our very life we disown.

~What Easter Means To me~
Passover is here once again
Nisan fourteenth, but what do we gain
Some have chocolate eggs, that's what they wait for.
But what does it mean this date we adore.
It is now called Easter, in our modern times
But what is the story behind this old crime
The death of Jesus although long ago foretold
Was not to give eggs and bunnies to hold.
The death of Jesus was to wipe out our sins
The resurrection was to show a new way begins
On the third day when Jesus arose
The women were aghast that the tomb was not closed
Two men in flashing clothes stood close on by
The women were frightened and did not look high
Why are you looking for the living amongst the dead?
Jesus is not here, he is raised up instead.
Jesus died a man, the prophecy now fulfilled
But was raised as a King by his father, his heavenly Kingdom to build.
He gave his life to fulfill the prophecy and pay the ransom price
Right down to his coat being cast lots over with dice.
He died to give us all a chance to live
So think about this more when chocolate eggs you do give.
