Spring — Passion

Kintsugi dawn—
white plum scents night air
tea rises in stillness.

Cranes cross pale sky;
child laughter drifts on moss.
A garden remembers.

Summer — Vocation

Tatami breathes—
cicada shells cling
reborn softly.

Koi flicker below
ripples fade in quiet hands.
Evening thunder calls—

incense drifts
forms bow.

Autumn — Mission

Fox lanterns kindle
shoji float through silver mist—
ancestral spirits stir.

Stray dog nestles
by the gate;
even strays seek warmth.

Tea vapor
recalls morning.

Winter — Profession

Snow settles
on stone lanterns
pine needles in palm.

Cold brushes fingertips.
Crane arcs slowly—
silhouette lingers on old walls.

Work kneaded
with laughter;
fire clothes darkness.

Completion — All Seasons as One

Sakura scatter—
petals dance
mirror tea vapor.

Breath holds the garden.
Circle closes
opens anew.

Tea cools,
reflects sky—
time folds gently.

Premium MemberThe Seat of Truth

The moth mistakes my bare skin for moonlight—recurring, insistent. Its wings dust the wrist like a forgotten promise, reminding me of a question I never dared ask aloud. I had held his wrist, not his hand. A ghost of a moment playing on loop in my hypnagogic state.

moonlight
     TrEmBlEs
on my wrist
where s i l e n c e nestles
and my pulse
     p/u/l/s/e/s
until wings
forget what F L I G H T meant
     without aCHe
          and consequences …

Premium MemberThe Reunion

There is no need
for me to chase,
just prepare a place
and keep still.
In time it will come,
quietly, unannounced,
at first with caution
born out of hurt.
Circling me
it will gradually
wind in the distance
of its fear
and pause quite near,
then draw closer,
and closer,
until it presses
its trembling warmth
against me and nestles
under my arm.
Slowly I will hold it
to myself,
welcome it home.

Premium MemberA Tapestry of Seasons

The moon nestles within a celestial quilt,
as the sun sleepily peeks through the indigo sky.
Chartreuse canopies sway against a mid-autumn sunrise.
Mahogany leaves, scattered upon frost-tipped, ombré blades of grass,
crackle under the patter of the feet of does.
Canadian geese flock, gliding toward home.
The inaugural snowflakes of winter flutter on teal breezes.
Inhaling the crisp morning air, it melts on cherry lips.
Warmth from the sun's silhouette dances playfully on curious hands.
The scent of freshly brewed coffee wraps you in comfort,
Whilst a monarch butterfly rests on the last dandelion fiercely holding on.
As the threads of autumn gingerly unravel,
they reweave into winter's aquamarine tapestry,
the transition of seasons bringing forth a time of peaceful reflection.

Ubermench

ubermench

When living in a block of flats is noisy
when a hammer and nails on walls to hang
up a painting bought at the supermarket
Hitler and Nazism interest me, it didn't die
in 1945 but grew like nestles in countries
mainly in Israel and Ukraine
After years of democracy that has ended
in a woke culture, Europe is turning  right
finding a democracy that has brought
havoc like the import of millions of Muslims
bringing an alien way of life and a religion
that is as demanding as Christianity is vapid
in Ukraine, the Nazis are in power  and helped
by NATO and the USA that hates Russia
for being powerful and winning
In Israel, Jewish Nazism is in full bloom
attacking and killing the Palestinians
who deemed savages, also Zionism needs
more elbow room, we have heard that
before and the people hail their leader
who has made them feel powerful shall
we say like Ubermensch.

Nightingale

The beckoning call of the Nightingale
Like the whistle of wind in a sail
Arrives on a spring days tail
And nestles like a cotton ball
Inside a trees hidden cloud
The hatchlings are so loud
Bumblebees covered in a honey shroud
But never so happy parents will be
When the fledglings leave the tree
The Nightingale nest empty

Salacious, sultry
Simplistic signs of
Seedy sensory

Socials
Surreptitiously
Slinking ..
Slowly
Sliding into your

Psychologically
Seducing
Some senses so
Suspiciously
Satisfying

So,
Surrender self;
Shield for safety,
Stand strong
Secure salient sentience
Successfully
Set sights solidly -
So soul secures solidarity
In sacred sanctuary of
Shalom

Somewhere,
Sandy sunsets certainly save,
Silky spider's web sparkles in sunshine,
Soft sensory surroundings subdue
Significant silent scenery in
Summery satisfaction.
Soporific seaside sounds
Singing in sympathy
Solitary safe sanctuary of seduction
Saving soul's sanity.
Selah.

Slowly, so slowly..
Spirituality of the natural
Nestles into the nape of
Normality
Now knowing
Nature's notably neutralising
Nurturing

Premium MemberDIVORCE

Dwelling in twisted tulips of fate,
I'm etching life's blackened stars beneath
Vehement veil of thunderstruck twilight, for,
Obsidian tornados have crushed affectionate shorelines.
Remorseful roses now unfurl like love's last perfume and
Crestfallen silence nestles in eclipsed eden, sighing at the
End of our poetic lifelines - lost within timeless agony.

Premium MemberHearing LISTENING ---Dedicated to GOD IS SPEAKING MINISTRIES Janeen Brown

So it does the thunder roar
The light is thickening beneath the storm
Clouds gathering drops of rain
Step by step winds gently breathing inside me
Yet sweet to me little bird
Lord I hear you Whispering in my ear
Nature's calling He is Elohim
My Father the wind nestles and breathes
Speaking to me nature's calling
I am hearing I am listening
The russells of the limbs of the trees
I embrace the sound that touches me
Longing I receive inside my heart
Hears my eyes see the words
That leads me to Him Jesus
I'm hearing I'm listening hearing
And listening my heart beats
My soul speaks my spirit receives
Hearing listening I hear my Father whispering
Speaking to me in my heart and my soul
In my mind my eyes see as I live and breathe
My Father's hearing and listening
I receive speak Lord speak I hear I receive
Hearing, listening Father I receive quietly still

The Wolf and the Cuckoo

Does the wolf still prowl
within our sheepish dreams,
or is it now a cuckoo nesting comfortably
deep and sly behind our eyes?
Give me the wolf any day,
for that secretive bird has grown fat,
it nestles, it fluffs out a sick complacency,
it has become too large for its small nest.
The wolf hides
it gnaws at its old teeth,
wanes thin with fear.
Soon the cuckoo will coo & cook, cluck
like a brooding hen birthing
yet another changeling.
Soon the wolf will leave you helpless
and that which was never you
will become the triumphant image
of your broken soul.

She Must of Been a Butterfly

She must of been,
A butterfly,
The way her eyelids,
Flutter,
And her Beauty,
Caresses,
And,
Nestles,
Into the love,
Of your soul,
As if her wings,
Has relaxed,
Upon,
Iris petals,
Sighing,
With,
The moon

Premium MemberSifting Sad Shadows From the Past

This, perhaps, has been my constant duty all through,
My life has been a perpetual stock-taking;
Within which, I, like sparrows, from out of the blue,
Find possibilities of Nestles get shaping...!

The almighty and my kith and kin have been great,
What a life he has given me, it's wonderful!
Who says there's existential resolve and sad fate?
My response-filled life has been rainbow-colorful...!

How delicately each bird pecks its little grain!
How each loyal soul searches for the final goal!
What's, after all, without reaching that godly reign?
To which each one needs to strive with whole heart and soul...!

I sift each sad shadow like a penny not spent,
Each unspent penny has added to my... lone cent...!!!

Premium MemberIn the Moment

"Be happy in the moment, that's enough.
Each moment is all we need."
                              Quote_ Mother Teresa

Be happy in the moment, that's enough;
each one- a gem that nestles in your life.
Some sparkle as they are, no need to buff;
but some will never glow with stress and strife.

Enjoy each one that happens then and there,
as it unfolds- forget just saving it
on video or photos- later share
when in the moment thrills won't recommit.

Each moment is a world unto its own-
a special speck of time that will adhere
and shine in memory like a bright stone;
but never like it did on its premiere.

Be happy in each moment -grasp that shine
that overpowers those that are not fine.
