Not the sort to default or beg
You halt lunch to earn a nest egg
Yet Trump’s tariff plan
Needs a Peter Pan
To stop the croc crunch on your leg

The first time I saw you - there -
Sophisticated, warm-blooded,
And for a kiss, you blubbered -
Barbary lipped, presenting the bill.
If I'd snuggle up, you'd cover me in fur.
Coo-ee! A real little nest egg,
Said you had it all laid out -
Liar!
Paid me up the river,
Rule of the rudder,
Waddling off -
As though your feet were webbed.
Then, as the tide ebbed -
More of me bled.
Keep your platitudes, Platypus!

The treasure trove’s buried, beloved
Goodness gracious, I am ready, rapacious
Dig daring, night and day, darling
There’s gems, gold to have, hold in our nest egg
You are right, Rene’. Why wait?
Truly this till’s our Honeymoon Hill
To yearly yearn for a real return

Ever since Biden marched in my stocks plump
My gains and nest egg make my shoulders slump
Unfortunately I've lost to that chump
My piece of American pie, a dump
What were five stars is now two dullest lump
I've endured his march of geese on my rump
Yet hope his wild goose chase comes to a stump
Until then I hope some road frees of bump
And tears chill and I get over this hump

Quote by Paul the Apostle
Keola - Couplet
Revenge is not sweet. Getting EVEN with the girl of your dreams
is SO underneath HUSBANDS. Nest egg is not in schemes.
SHOULD he not plan for his future, a lifetime of LOVE and laughter,
and spousal lift where THEIR tenderness leans into the hereafter?
WIVES behave…what? Moreso, don’t be loud mouths or supreme
AS a Nile queen - THEIR behavior improper. Show esteem
for your OWN marriage and BODIES. HE, likewise, should behave,
as one WHO leads and LOVES, a prince of a guy, she longs to save.
HIS dalliances with other women could cost him his WIFE. That life,
now on the wire, with supposed haram LOVES, a tug o'war strife.
In contrast, look at HIMSELF and herself, side by side reflection.
See how they emerge and merge into one beautiful confection.

You won’t see these word
in a shop window
printed across a smiling face,
or embossed, engraved, or scribbled;
probably not daubed
on toilet stall walls yet.
They belong to the Net,
a pliable device
that floats to the top
of a running river of white water.
If you have the skill to spear fish
you might catch one or two,
but I am afraid they will not be
of much use to you
in your life plan,
for your nest egg,
your spiritual growth
or for any healing purposes
whatsoever.
You may try rubbing your libido
with the sounds they make,
I do, but of course
they, being only words,
offer little relief.
If you drink strong alcohol
(nothing sweet with fruit in it),
then you might
add them like ice into your glass;
for a while they will rattle around
your teeth
almost pleasantly.

Success
Self-made by own efforts
Upcoming years destined
Cut-to-the-chase, profits
Comfort, milk, and honey
Easy street, gleaming life
Stocks and bonds arsenal

The Diner was brightly lit
Made to look like the sixties
Under a thin veil of the seventies
She came over
Meatloaf special tonight
She looked tired
Long past retirement age
She wasn't doing this because she liked it
She had to do it to survive
No 401k or nest egg
Small social security check
Dead husband
Kids doing their own thing
You brought them up
Fed them
Clothed them
Loved them
Now you need them
But they aren't there
So, recite those specials
Poise that pen
Hope for a decent tip
Then do it again

I can't recall exactly when
Life swung and hit me on my chin
I"m ashamed to say, it knocked me cold
When I came to, I woke up old
While I was out, I had a dream
Of juggling on a balance beam
While jumping hoops, upon one leg
And one wrong move, cost one nest egg
Was it yesterday or the day before
I had it all but wanted more
When days were long and fears were short
Carouse by day, at night cavort
Yesterday, less was more
It must have been the day before
I wish I'd seen life's sucker punch
'cause now my memory's out to lunch

Change is never the same
But to change is always the same
I've been down broken roads
Crossed corriod seas
Come to the end of my rope and turned around to make a knot to make sure it goes on
But the thoughts in my head seem so confusing
The direction my life is leaning me towards
Is filled with so many questions
A dream here and dream there and two kids to boot makes me believe life will always be the same
All you need Is love is claimed but to give your kids a chance to live makes a foundation shake
I've built no wealth no nest egg you see
All I get is cracked eggs and jaded edges that cut me down
I want my children to see I am not the failure the reflection sees
But the way Utah continues to grow the faster my pockets fill with lent and unclaimed dream particulars
Is change an answer or is the same the best resolution
So unsure so fearful
All I do is write letters to myself which I call poetic thoughts
But there is no poetry in motion for me
Only clouded thoughts and insufficient means
Where is the solution in an endless sentence I write about my life.

I am an investment so pick your stock wisely
I am a high commodity so this could get pricey
Each share that I hold has it's own value
Whether the market is up or down I keep my statue
My assets are great in numbers and deeds
The price to earning ratio is at it's peek
My bonds are valued more than gold
My APR is at it's all time low
THIS currency was made to flow
My trading pool sets the tone
For what is new and what must go
The direction I seek must be plain
401K and IRA is not my nest egg
God is my financial advisor, portfolio manager broker
Whatever you want to call him he will be
It took a lot of work and molding to get me
Just know that I am a token; his prize
He has taken a true liken to me
So when you step be on your game
He has all claims to my fame
My rights have been bought
So don't be surprised
Cause he is very protective of whats inside

Economic servitude
has me in its chains,
Wall Street and the bankers
have all the money and the brains.
I owe, I owe to work I go
sang the seven dwarves,
off to slave away for them
listed by Mr. Forbes.
All the years and hours
put in on the job,
to put aside a nest egg
for them to legally rob.
Common thieves in Armani suits
Rolex Oysters on their wrists,
hiding behind bribed senators
as we watch and shake our fists.
Who will save us from these guys
from Washington and Wall Street?
Who will give us back our savings
we thought were ours to keep?
Will Superman or the President
swoop in heroically,
pack them off to prison
and return my money to me?
We know that’s only in the movies
or Batman comic books,
because the government of America
has become a bunch of crooks.

Making Agonizing Choices
By Elton Camp
It’s a fact about which many are unaware
But there are millions of examples out there
Old people who aren’t able to hold a job
But struggle not to let it their dignity rob
Long ago gone is their modest nest egg
And they’d rather die than have to beg
Their Social Security checks are too small
Much they need, they can’t afford at all
They must decide how their funds are spent
Shall it be for food or should I pay the rent
And medical care they are forced to forgo
To pay the cost, they don’t have the dough
In winter to stay in bed by night and day
Since for a high heating bill they can’t pay
Meat once in a while they would find nice
But they must get by with beans and rice
No hope of better can most of them see
Until death mercifully sets them free

Big ol Billy
Near old Dirran, on the river, an old time pub had its day. ..
Billy Richards was the owner, had a rupture so they say. ..
There he sold the watered whisky and the rum to all who'd pay...
Earned a quid and made a nest egg till the Murrays' came his way. ..
Sitting on his front verandah chanting
calling laughing low, .."Big ol Billy, Big ol Billy," soon the rum began to flow. ..
So enlarged was Billy's rupture, so apparent his dismay, ..
every time the chanting started, fiery rum, he'd have to pay...
In the early nineteen hundreds medicine was touch and go, ...
poisons nasty, drugs so deadly, all were used by the medico...
Not the knife for Big ol Billy, fifty fifty die that way. ..
Better get another keg, stop the Murray's chanting, hey? ...
The Murray's were Aboriginal people living on the Murray river.near the south west
Queensland town of Dirranbandi.
