Darkness holds the mind,
Truth's soft whispers unheard now,
Blind steps, fate's cruel dance.

Oh Lord, don't allow us
Men to discard the books never !
they prepare us a lot
to become overall freed
from our inborn nescience...

Waterfall
David J Walker
The single waterfall into the canyon
Is hidden by the highway that
Keeps the passers-by in a state of
Detached nescience
Protecting the last of its’ kind
On the Plains
As the stream barely has
The means to continue the journey
Over the Mesa pooling on the
Prairie floor
For the few who may see
It remains among the wonders
Remembered for a lifetime

I know you think I’m morbid
when I come back from the living
wearing black all along
I’m gone alive and
I’m gone missing
in the air of all sullen mornings
and faraway looks
over the sleepless fields
blur my sight with tears of today
benumb my hearing with
waning voices I used to know
back in the day
I’m already gone alive and
I’m still gone astray
where any words or worlds
have no genuine weight
I’m drifting through outer space
carried downwind into the deeps
below the nescience
into oblivion
above the lone fallstreaks

Bees
Tiny souls buzzing
and humming,
Swaying with
air waves afloat,
As rich colourful
florets beguile,
fragrance in breeze
antenna senses,
A gratifying feast
of nectar regales,
while no endeavour
to touch the sky,
Hoists the pollen
in nescience,
benevolence of
nature redefined,
Twilight of dusk
they return to hive,
Mustering honey
is a bee's delight !

I
Promote nescience
Breeding in minds to a truth
A racial iceberg
II
Nation is built
Structures wear a common dress
Crucifies nude truth
III
Humanity smiles
Inside germs of safety belts
The fear blasts at once

The
Day
When the
Almighty
Lord perished in the
Cross to redeem humanity
Washing with his blood the sins committed by nescience
Proferring eternal life to whoever believe in him as personal savior

Instincts of innocence
Chastity belt on
pretence of oblivion,
Is the current human mind
soaked deep in all wrongs,
Selfish and cruel
as newborns cry naïveté,
Guiltless greens call
and pure flowing waterfall,
Rains pledge washing away
as breeze swirls,
Butterflies flutter as
nectar drips on nature's platter,
O man! With a guilt blush
clear on your face,
Can you defy those crimes
prove be in nescience ?
Reverberate inner self
that pure youthfulness,
With which you were born
the virtue your charm,
Enlightened soul, a kind subtle heart,
Imbued deep still,
Is altruistic instinct of innocence.

Keep praising the tyrannical
By giving them power
waiting to see what unveils
In the final battle hour
They teach us to love what
is wrong mislead our every step
But as long as we are having fun
Who gives a heck
We are praising the wicked
Loving the scheme
Allowing the cynical to
Control the scene
We ask ourselves"Why pray"
if God doesn't exist
We are our own masters
Ignorance is bliss
Continuing to be lead astray
like swine towards slaughter.
They say money is the power
With power comes great fame
Ignorant that we follow
The likings of devils in chains

Once within a break in brambly fields
something stirred its fearful head in sleep:
Though it be woman or child, work or vision
something that dares not hold me in derision
But till that lingering day bares your face
with prating breath I bide my bane
And even as I clear the brake, shift the trunks
hosannas crop up before you every dawn.
And someday as I have you in my arms
in osculation's brimming nirvanic bliss,
May I not then turn away empty handed
though warm in your inane atmanic face
Then as I wend my kindly way down the road
pitch my tent on this terraqueous matter-mind
Should I then go looking for my immortality
through doors that are forever locked to me
Or could I then lie upon nescience' impervious skies
upon some smoky grass unmapped or husbanded
And hear the awakening cries of spring born trees
then get up to wind my way to some factory blast
