Instincts of Innocence

Instincts of innocence

Chastity belt on
pretence of oblivion,
Is the current human mind
soaked deep in all wrongs,
Selfish and cruel
as newborns cry naïveté,
Guiltless greens call
and pure flowing waterfall,
Rains pledge washing away
as breeze swirls,
Butterflies flutter as
nectar drips on nature's platter,

O man! With a guilt blush
clear on your face,
Can you defy those crimes
prove be in nescience ?
Reverberate inner self
that pure youthfulness,
With which you were born
the virtue your charm,
Enlightened soul, a kind subtle heart,
Imbued deep still,
Is altruistic instinct of innocence.
