The revolutionary
The revolution germinated in my womb,
The tenderness and care never negotiated.
The external pressures never an obstacle,
The birth of the world’s most beautiful era bloomed.
Came the dawn of surprises after a storm,
The ship swayed hither to thither.
The fight and insurrection had already begun,
The world’s most beautiful and the strongest life was born.
The trunk was burned and she just witnessed,
Holding the hands of the needy and the swayed.
Detached yet focused, marching to the goal,
With slogans and spirits high she bore in her heart.
Sheltered was she, but the discontent seeped out,
In an urge to reach the pinnacle of the dream,
Reminders and warnings kept she to herself,
To be the spectator and observer of her own play.

As the world unfurls
iN REMbrandt's muddy pastel
Little Susie curls her knees
right on cue, credence that
there's clear water here, a
revival of Hawkins and
Burton's swamp spell
When I tried to leave her
dream, she called back:
'Freddy, come save me'
I know that it's cruel to
replace her, though her
night terrors are negotiated,
I awaken her fears

This is no pleasure trip, no voyage for the weak-hearted.
The activists singing, holding arms, like birds in the trees,
those in awe of morning’s glory, in a dolphin-crowded sea,
mantle of intellect, a true heroic affair.
They have a ship load of food and medicine, a holy mission
to the chagrin of warmongers and their media culprits.
To the shores of Gaza they sail,
Where flesh is burnt like used tires,
monuments of barbarism.
Bewilder them till they die!
At night the stars come out into
this artifice of humanity, caught in the web of
an unspeakable tragedy.
Alas, the flotilla is interdicted, freedom is not,
sailing past the deceits, the barricades, the barb wires,
And the AI-guided bombs.
Freedom is never negotiated on high seas, commands
all the waves to safety.*
Dedicated to Greta and her comrades

The forgotten
We forgot to buy a loaf today, but there is an apple tart in the fridge for breakfast tomorrow we will feast on cake and think of the daft woman in France, whose name I have forgotten
Putin was offered a 30-day break from warring, and he gracefully thanked Trump for his interest and accepted the offer, but first, the underlying cause had to be negotiated
Trump was flattered; he didn’t get the whole loaf but had to accept a lemon cake, Putin and Lavrov are both masters in chess, and the West, who do not understand what Russia has said
No NATO in Ukraine quarantine Russia has had enough from the West’s false promises, that’s, but Zelensky, the fraud has to go, a new election held and a spring will arrive in Ukraine

It ca have been in Costa Rica
Or much likelier God’s America…
Perhaps in Europe’s calmer Britain
But we know he fires shots: Briton…
A female Nigerian car owner
Had negotiated a road’s corner
And run into some immobile car
While she still had a final stop far…
She should have just tried a “Hello”
And “May I help you, Nice Fellow;”
No! fingers quick to find her car’s horn,
She sounding the thing, mind free of scorn…
“Then, she heard it but made sure ‘No shout:’
Try it again I blow your brains out!”
The white had made sure she saw his gun,
Looking like it’d wanted the thing done…

Politicians ready to bet
Will play with the national debt
They think they control
How the dice will roll
But may cause a gambler’s regret
Authors note: Last time this happened, the Federal Government shut down and stopped making payments to its employees. The air traffic controllers who were working without pay started a slow down and President Trump decided to give in rather than face a catastrophe.
This time, it looks more serious as some in Congress feel they can use the debt limit to force concessions. This could get very ugly in June. Imagine if social security payments stop. Until then, the government will use accounting tricks to pay our obligations. Of course, we should reduce spending and adjust taxation for fairness and to promote the health of our planet, but we need a long-term sensible negotiated bipartisan plan for that.

Call girl of Thulhu?
I smiled at the voice at the end of the phone.
Not been in action for many years, but had a keenness for a kill.
Sure is, I said in my youngest voice.
Happy it did not crack or give my age.
You can do some delectable things for five hundred? A question.
I said “six” to see if he would bite.
A slight hesitation
We negotiated to five fifty.
Agreed to meet at the Slingback, a seedy motel.
You could torture someone here.
No one would call the cops.
They would not show up in this divvy place
Too scary.
More than one cop had probably
already been murdered at the Slingback.
Run by Mama M,
Nickname: Mama Mortician.
Got out my knives and lovingly polished them.
They had not seen daylight since ’85 when I took out several men
No idea my trick was polishing his knives too

Happy Birthday “Prof” Franklin
Ninety-Fifth
Written; by Miracle Man
11-27-2019
Happy Birthday “Prof”, and at number ninety-five,
I believe your agile enough, to put down some jive.
Your life is a testimony, to how we should be living,
You’ve harvested less from life, than you were found giving.
Most past students, are quick, to shower you with praise,
When recalling fond times, dating to your classroom days.
But beyond teaching students, there were times life was raveled,
You’ve negotiated speed bumps, that most haven’t traveled.
I didn’t have the privilege of knowing Prof
or sitting in class under him since I’m eighty.
But through chance meetings and reputation
I’m proud to call him my friend.
a man who has influenced many lives.

See the human debris,
the scattered limbs torn apart
by shrapnel velocity
In so many Third World places,
the second-hand groan grafters
commit mercantile murder
in the first degree
Time encapsulated buried hatred
leech covetously
Flooding the colonial lands with booby-trap misery
Tick-tock waves of disfigurement crimes
against humanity
Collateral damage seep in deadpool faces ...
dark moral cavities,
where maimed charity bleeds
Mental scarlet stains of pain
are strewn everywhere
Empty eye sockets are separated
by full-metal piercings
Observe the void spaces between desensitized ears:
Lynch pinheads be blunt instruments
using indiscriminate force —
Spreading teary shattered hopes of detached fears
Awaken numb senses
to the non-negotiated reality
of prosthetic dreams
Dry sea of grief ...
landmine of crimson carnage
Deathly halt feelings collect the debt
paid by the broken living pieces
Why is there only morphine comfort
in hidden swaths of shame,
where phantom limb emotions
have metallic waves of saline releases?

HE SOUGHT SOMETHING MOST WERE SHAMED
TO SAY.
HE LONGED AND WISHED TO BE NEEDED
AND DESIRED TO BE LOVED.
THOSE EYES OF THOSE WHO WISH TO HAVE ME AS THERE
ENTERTAINMENT, HAS CREATED A WAY TO SEPARATE ME FROM THOSE
WHO MIGHT ESIRCHIATE MY LONGING
THAT I SPEAK WORDS THAT ARE UNDERSTANDABLE
AND HAVE NEGOTIATED WHAT IS
ACCEPTABLE TO THE BOTH OF US
PRAY YE OH LOVE OF MINE
MIGHT I FIND YE AND WE SHALL BE LOVERS
PRAY YE OH LOVE OF MINE MIGHT WE BE TOGETHER
PRAY YE OH LOVE, THAT WE SHALL STAND TOGETHER WITHOUT OBSTACLE
PRAY YE THAT THOSE WHO WISH US TOGETHER MIGHT FIND OUR TOGETHERNESS ACCEPTABLE IN THERE SIGHT
MIGHT HIMEROS BLESS US
THAT GOD HAS MADE US MALE AND FEMALE FOR THIS
THAT WE SHALL ENJOY THE COMPANY OF OUR TOGETHERNESS
AND FIND SANITY IN THE FACTS OF OUR REALITY
THEY STOOD AND SPOKE THESE SAYINGS THAT THOSE
WHO WISHED TO LEARN OF LOVE
AND THOSE WHO WISHED TO BE TOGETHER MIGHT
SPEAK THESE NAMES.

Realize that I can see the point of view.
I'm at work today and I'm still waiting for you guys.
Right Now, I don't think it's time to be able too.
Here's the thing that could make it so.
Skilled workers and their families are not going anywhere else
Thought. Pictures of me and my friends are like the facts that I have
Now, is too easy. I'm at work today was negotiated with a lot of people.
Keep the faith in me as much as possible to do it again.
I'm at the end of this page and I love the way you want to Right Now.
Keep your head up high and I have no clue who they were all about.

He speaks for the uprooted.
A man of sorts, a twiggy Buddha.
He who interprets
the conferences of frogs,
the unpublished works
of kestrels and voles.
He’s an advocate for the underbelly
of a microbial heaven, for every kind
of uncouth animalcule.
He speaks for the bulldozed,
the displaced. The native and
the nomadic.
He tracks the sins
of yellow, metal Caterpillar’s.
He glides over bogs with the frogs.
He moves under tree shadows,
if there are no tree shadows
he takes a bus.
He talks to the bears - they tell him
how things are going in the suburbs.
Swimming pools and trash cans,
have still to be negotiated. There must be a treaty.
He is leafy, kits and coyote love him,
Whistle-Pigs chirp like sparrows; blow their noses
to trumpet his approach.
When ducks quack his many sermons
shotguns misfire.
He is a preacher, a teacher to tics and turtles.
He is the Green Man,
he is not a straw man,
or a hollow man –
he is green
at least for now.

Today’s Thoughts
Written: by Miracle Man
5-8-2019
Morning quiet time whisks me to another time,
Two years past, at the worst six months of my existence.
On November 15th 2017 came Severe Spinal Stenosis surgery,
On December 27th 2017 I survived Open Heart Surgery for the “Widow Maker”,
Then three days later, on New Years Day 2018 I became
One of the eight percent Who survive Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
Doctors who previously had told my wife, there was very little hope,
Because there were just too many things going against me,
(I went from sixteen bags on a drip frame, to One, in seven days.)
And Doctors Began referring to me as Miracle Man, The Protected One,
And even Lazarus. It isn’t because “I’m a Tough Old Bird”
(Though I’ve always thought I was)
But through the prayers of others, and skillful Doctors that God had blessed.
God intervened because there are things I still must do for HIM.
Now, though I still possess the same keys,
The doors that I once negotiated without effort,
I find the locksmith has changed the locks.
Thank You Jesus for loving me.

Babies with empty bellies
go hungry,
every refugee day
While numerical chambers
of alphabet soup weaponry
are fully stocked
War rations
on collateral display
AK-47
50-cal RPG’s
M-16
9 millimeter Beretta,
45-Uzi
1911-380 Browning
Mac-10 semi-auto magazine
Military grade A munitions
fill the land
with walking dead bodies desiccated,
full of misery
And the starving babies,
with empty bellies bloated,
got plenty lead bullets
enough to eat

Another negotiated famine
is a tenuous peace
The latest victims
of a televised snuff feast
A full arsenal of destruction
is a ravenous armory
Devouring hope
of the widows and orphans,
left to beg
for a morsel of sanction bread —
Degradated war-torn relief
