Premium Member Breath by Breath nee Sipping Coffee

“Breath by breath thus that my soul presence be chaste.”

That first scented breath inhaled
as sweet as e'er I have smelled.
The first, the fine nonpareil,
only lasts till death expel.

Oh, that prime refreshing breath
leading to ultimate death.
I atone for sins unknown.
A mere babe, my courage flown.

A sip from the flowing Fount,
living a life to surmount.
With the angels as my guides,
a chaste life in me resides.

Watchman Nee

When I Experienced China I understood why
The Lord gave Watchman Nee such a powerful ministry!
Discovering the Chinese culture, I can understand
The reason behind the Lord’s decision!

I wrote several poems in China while
Understanding calligraphy—
Each stroke carried a unique purpose!
Love filtered in my life as I prayed in China
I saw the Lord’s hand more and more!
As I walked through Jiangsu with
The weight and knowledge of Watchman Nee
I saw love so pure for a foreign people
It brought me to my knees
“God has supplied all my needs and
Has not failed me once”
Now I am walking through China celebrating His Name

Floating around
I set up three memorials in China
In honour of Watchman Nee

*R.I.P. Ann Leslie Cook, nee Turner*

At five months old, she posed for their family's neighbor, Dorothy Hope Smith, who drew a charcoal sketch of her for a Gerber's baby-food contest. That charcoaled sketch became Gerber's iconic label when they opened and produced their products in 1928. For nearly ninety-four years of her lifetime, she has been in American homes, as well as, abroad. She died in her St. Petersburg, FL., home, (11/20/1926-06/03/2022) at 95.

In this world we never know anything
Maybe only at the last moment
I'm not sure
All I know is that I will miss you
Hopefully I can say hello to your child "August" someday
And say that I knew you when you were a magnified
Great person with art in your soul
Especially when we laughed hard about the contrived sincerity
Of those who wanted what you had so easily
Too soon my friend
Too soon to go away
Before we worked out a few more paradigms

Your friend
