That brilliant smile upon your face,
it lights my darkened soul.
One gaze upon your heavenly grace
and I lose all control.

Your face, so graceful in its form,
is ne’er an afterthought.
Your eyes, my soul seem to warm,
when in your gaze I’m caught.

Your skin, so lovely, is soft as snow;
I feel it as I dream
about you, and the things I know.
You are not as you seem.

Your presence is so dear to me.
I’m pained to be alone.
But I know you’ll appear to me
when I am on my own.

I see you when I close my eyes.
Your smile I see so clear.
My rationale mystifies.
Why should it be so Dear?

I’ve only known you for a few short weeks,
yet to you I feel drawn.
I find your presence so unique
I want you from now on.

Padidia

Papadia
Strange implies that the thing or its cause is unknown or unexplained; it is unfamiliar and unusual: a strange expression. That which is peculiar mystifies, or exhibits qualities not shared by others: peculiar behavior. That which is odd is irregular or unconventional, and sometimes approaches the bizarre:
"a folded pizza made with their original dough, filled with various toppings, and served with a dipping sauce. It's inspired by the Italian flatbread sandwich called "piadina."

What Love Means

Love is the splendour that mystifies me
A rainbow in the sky colours my mind
Rapture bosom in high-spirited glee
Blind by passion, beloved we enshrined

Romance, Zephyr on a hot humid day
Dawn of spring after each winter season
As butterflies draw toward flowers way
Lovers seek closeness for any reason

Amor, a warm bright light within our heart
Set ablaze or calmed at our partner’s touch
Twin flames share deeper connections by heart
True love grows yet stronger with time as such

Two souls entwine kin to fine tapestry
Soul mates share eternal love happily

Premium Membermystical verdent green eyes

are they green or amber?
do we call the hazel?
no matter, they are rare
as you are rare

with dark lashes,
you resemble a forest
mysteriously hiding something
I decide to dive into the thicket

like a deer, investigating,
yet a bit fearful of what I might find
in your verdent eyes, that see
better than most

you are mystical, magic
an anomaly that mystifies me
intriguing me at the same time
I am going to take a chance.

Misty Heights

Upon the misty heights I roam
And wonder, as I wander lone

For she who mystifies my dawn
And listens as I muse along

Is nearer still, as lone I walk –
I speak in silence from the heart

Of days gone by when we were young
And knew our moment in the sun

Was brighter then than it would be,
For even then we knew, could see

That time and distance would parlay
And deeper still for us portray

The breathless passion that we knew,
Which sprang from wells from which we drew,

Not knowing when the moment came
How we would never be the same –

And now I never walk alone
For deep with her in thought I roam

And still recall with vivid sight
And memory untinged by night

The flame we burned with passion bright
When lone I roamed on misty heights

In Between

There might be those who sail through life
And never hit a snag,
While others plod along or fight,
Each day another drag.

For most of us, it’s in between,
A balance, I suppose,
With lovely highs in opposition
To the awful lows.

So much is out of our control
And we can never guess
What ups or downs tomorrow holds
To bring us joy or stress.

No matter how we plan our days,
We’ll come to realize
The only certainty in life
Is that it mystifies.

Applenions

APPLENIONS

Deep-rooted love these days;
It's not about colour or race,
People are the same everywhere:
Either black, white, dark, or fair,
Life only presents good or bad...
We only yield to nature's command.
What people want is love
But some can't give enough
And others can't give it at all.
Eyes didn't see what intuition foresaw.

Love isn’t usually what we were told.
Just because you behold
the apple of your eyes
and both of you exhibit strong ties
doesn't mean you won't cry.
In case this image mystifies you & I,
Know this is the concept of love
once it eventually kicks off.
For you, it could be "what I ordered for
versus what I got at my door, "

Or it could be "my realistic expectation
versus my unexpected overestimation"
Love will give you the taste of apples
And also the tears of onions.
But make sure they are happy tears.

Ghost
Gothic
Eidolon,
Sovereign king
Tears begin flowing.
Byzantine abandoned.
The cloaked statue sits and waits.
The tourist lifts her head and sighs.
Phantom’s pain she feels his suffering.
Hand on her forehead nods from side to side.

Labyrinthine journey stirs stark madness.
Intruders’ rash and reckless taunting
Grey-sky midst morning mystifies.
Glowing - white - apparition
Clicks, flashes, from tourists.
Take focus of the
Timeless undead

Premium MemberDeath Ghosts

Spirits sigh sing and cling
as morbid muse music mystifies
finding their heart in death
beating universally
Their spiced souls sway in breath

Dreams sent to the living…steam
Waxing and waning moon
flashes as porcelain flames
connecting life and death
Light sears nautical names

Death love in his bold blood
For he can never be…
Broken…his scythe the knife
whispering words wishes
before searing their life

As time transitions
into parchment poems
Forever the letters
forge into history
Sublime divine settlers

A Voyage To Uranus

Uranus, a wonder to explore,
A mystery to unravel and adore.
Seventh from the sun, a world of blue-green,
With secrets to unveil, like none you've seen.

Tilted axis, a unique sight,
At 98 degrees, it spins just right,
And negative 224 degrees Celsius,
Uranus is one of the coldest, no less.

Methane, hydrogen, and helium,
Uranus' atmosphere, a scientific realm,
Deeper within, a layer of ice,
A mantle of rock, so precise.

13 rings of dust and ice,
Water ice, their primary guise,
Faint and challenging to see,
Studying their composition, a scientific spree.

27 moons orbiting around,
Titania, the largest can be found,
Rock and water ice, its makeup,
Probing Uranus, a chance to shake up.

A cosmic puzzle, a scientific call,
Uranus, a planet that mystifies us all,
Why explore its chemistry, you ask?
To know our place in this cosmic task.

Premium MemberMagic Potion

If there were only a magic potion,
to take away all of the pain.
Softening hateful emotion,
nurturing positive to sustain.

All people everywhere,
will be given the chance to taste.
A nectar so sweet and rare,
not a drop must go to waste.

With one sip, a sense of calm.
eases an anguished soul.
Like a soothing balm,
restores a wound to whole.

These precious drops of gold,
seeking each and every place.
For the young, for the old.
filling within, the empty space.

As the world's pain subsides,
hope for peace begins to grow.
The effect of the potion mystifies,
all of the science we have come to know.

The dream of a peaceful world comes true.
We pray the potion's magic will remain.
Each generation must see it through.
Let this gift of peace, forever reign.

Premium MemberA Sculpture of Water

Pouring over night, as stunning
As the stars all dreamy and bright
My liquid truth, unhurried
Mystifies, inspires and delights

In lavender hues, so vibrant
Like laughter crushing the silence
In love vibrating through the hereafter
Serenity soothing sorrows with solace

Cool clear waters in silhouettes of prayer
Praising the One who made them
With hope for a lasting grace and faith
That sounds like gentle waves caressing gray

Whispering love through the moments
Breathing assurance into the heart
A stunning example of kindness flowing
From a tangerine dawn to a scarlet dusk

Waters wind their way from the mountains
To the shores of sallow sandy beaches
Caressing each thought with a sincerity
That leaves the soul feeling completely whole

Premium MemberReverie In Colours

        Aquamarine horizon with crimson hue,
Unfolds a sublime picture of dawn,
Drowns my senses in tender lilac dreams,
Sways me away to a mythical land unknown.

Lose myself in a tranquil tangerine reverie,
Spring birds merrily cooing songs serenade,
Saffron imagination dawns on my dreamy eyes,
Fantasy a magical garden, sprinkling faint lemon scent.

Swirling all vibrant colours of rainbow in palette,
Fragrant petite graceful flowers wake me up,
Chartreuse waterfalls falls soft on coral rocks
Lavender yearning fills my passionate heart.

Watermelon marvels of life mystifies the beauty of our existence,
Doting sleep whispers faraway dreams gently on my eyes.
