“Free weight verses”
said the Poet …
“that’s what I’m about
“Working out heavy
every word
lifting pain and doubt
“Supersets
with more then less
exhaustion waits to claim
“The final rep
the lasting burn
— forever to inflame”
(The New Room: May, 2024)
“Art is the medium by which a person, having experienced an emotion, intentionally transmits it to others” – Leo Tolstoy
A bleak monotonous landscape,
Had been her outlook for years.
She so vehemently longed to escape.
The young woman fought back tears.
Christina’s world was internment.
Trapped in a body with muscles decaying.
Poor dear lacked discernment,
Her will to walk, her spirit not obeying.
Muscular Dystrophy restricted her being.
Crawling helplessly across the field,
The horizon beyond is all she will be seeing.
Determined to create an impenetrable shield.
To separate her from her crippling disorder.
Forcing herself daily, her bent limbs to be unfurled.
In spite of her debilitating marauder,
In pain Miss Christina Olson seeks to view the world.
Tree is standing still,
Oh! the tree is standing still.
Dense difficulties stiff it,
Still its muscular branches ready to beat it.
Atrocious time will land and soon will reach its end,
However its sturdy branches never let it to bend.
Tree is standing still,
Oh! the tree is standing still.
Dense difficulties stiff it,
Still its muscular branches ready to beat it.
Adaptation is Adaptation living is born to learn,
New change rise in trun.
Tree is standing still,
Oh! the tree is standing still.
Dense difficulties stiff it,
Still its muscular branches ready to beat it.

Pumping in my chest is the sustainable energy that flows and determines the senses.
It is the enigma of the soul,
the conflict of the mind,
and the ocean of passion.
It is often interrupted by the turmoil of others and the delicate attachments you hold dear.
It can break you and make you shine,
it is instantaneous and uncontrollable,
it is the cause of rage and fear that nothing nuclear can compare.
Yet it is the most gentle and forgiving instrument when pressed upon by love and generosity.
Tenderness is the key to its blinding intensity,
it is the most powerful weapon,
in both known and unknown realms.
Used for annihilation and protection.
Too often misused and abused.
Rarely allowed to smile.
muscular energy
women are stronger
to live longer
than the muscular
energy
called men
muscle get shrink
while a female
virtue worth
everlasting
she could look
weak
sound weak
act slowly
yet her weakness
brings out the best
on the muscular man
the men feel powerful
cos on the weaker
vessel they grow
their strength
so we got to nurture
our women
not torture them
the world got to
recognized women
as great creatures
not just secondary
humans
the men runs the world
but
how could we run it
better with out the women?
When the rage blows through
And biting leaves are sodom bent
When dark hands thrash from housetops sent
Rocking corners still know their ready course
Your love settles in good sense.
I am free amidst torrential outsource
Fluid fantasies break out
From break points of grey noise
We are swirling in singular ploys
Forever now, blue midnights peel
Across leisurely winds of time and change
Action throughout life
Making ripe future's plain
I wrote this cause I have Muscular dystrophy

We would like to thank Jerry Lewis and M.D.A.
For making Sept.3 a very special day.
We the kids are big and small.
Some of us short some of us tall.
Jerry helps fill our heart's with love and hope.
He's one of the reason's we learn to cope.
Let's all help and do a good deed.
Help Jerry find a cure for M.D..
We the kids have a bond with each other.
In one way we're like sister and brother.
I'm one of Jerry's kids too.
Help Jerry make our dreams come true.
