Hang On a Lil Longer

The green
Marlboro light in her fingers
Smoke shifting in the air
The wind blowing through
The combini flags
Waving surrender
We stay quiet
In the dark night
If one of us speaks
A single word
Everything will overflow
Endlessly
Nothing can stop
The tears
The truth
The taste
From flowing
In our mouthes
Keep on pretending
Just gotta
Hang on a
Lil longer
Have a
Lil more patience
Have a
Lil more trust
Wait
I see it
There's the light
At the end
Of the tunnel
Just hold on

Room

Room

I shall not go astray
My paradise garden awaits
It bares of plenty
Autumn’s breath fills the air
My spirit is young
My soul is calm
I harvest joy
From wherever it comes
A lively rainforest
Of pelican, scarlet macaw and tucson

The willow tree weeps and drowns in its sorrow
The cascading waterfall
 Pours sweet honey
A rose perfumes the place

During dreary nights of gloom
When my mind is wild and off tune
Sweet, warm ginger and cinnamon
Makes space and give me room
The moon looks down winks and grins
I get assurance

Cactus pear and aloe
Guard against thieves
Their spiky blades make tongues bleed
And leaves mouthes bitter in deed

Slipping On Appeal

( as an after dinner wonder mint )

It's a park but there's no grass because everyone's slipping on appeal.
Everyone has cameras except the girl.
They're taking her picture.
Now they're taking the girl and leaving the picture.
Someone warns them the sun is freezing or the grass is coming back.
All the cameras disappear and everyone pulls out badges.
Everyone is arresting everyone else.
The judge says something to the girl.
She transcribes but mouthes to the penguins in the front row
that she doesn't believe him.
They don't listen being packed in ice.
As they thaw they like her less.
The two doormen remove the entrance doors and exit.
Through the exit enters a large film with all the badges taken as evidence.
All the pictures taken that day prove no one had film in their cameras.
The girl pretends to type but no one minds because her feet don't touch.
The cameras are fired to test the murder weapon.
The grass holds the judge in contempt.
His eyes film-over.
He appeals to the penguins but they freeze for a picture.

Now No Longer Trim

Now No Longer Trim

Some cows one day were killed and died
And when I had cooked my steak rarified
Everyone there that saw it became terrified
Even though their mouth was opened wide.

Poem of mine am sure must have to hurt
Piece of steak into mouth would insert
Blood from mouth oozed and started running
Truly such a sight which had ben stunning.

What if they had changed their main goal
Went ahead and swallowed each piece whole
After into mouth each piece they did dump
Up in throat each one started to clump.

Stomach each piece would work its way to
What they started to see after being all through
Was bunches of fat on belly every which way
And did blame it on dead cows without delay.

If it hadn't been for both her and also him
And all their friends which was the rest of them
None of us ever again would look so grim
We all became fat but should have stayed trim.

So when you start trimming things down to size
Your beautiful body again will start to realize.
How is that for an end up motto?

Waste Not-Want Not

Another trash bin filled with food
Reminding me of Society's strange paradox
Of how we gluttonously consume
And yet waste so much.
Ripping morcles from famished mouthes
Only to discover they are past sell-by date
And consign them to their grave.
Fruit that's misshapen, has a bruise or is oddly colored.
More food in the dumpster,
Than in over 900 million rumbling bellies.
How is it possible,
That we can be so round,
When others scrounge for crumbs?
Count your blessings
And give to those less fortunate.

Heartache Before the Gate of Grace

Today i suffocated by an anger of disgrace,
of misplaced sentiment i face... bent judgement,
a hord of unwated guilt wilts up inside my mind
and sews a fine quilt stitched with hardened hands
as life itself expands and harbours my heart...
i am ill...
love ill of the blind leading the blind.
I find thoughts of others crippled, hung in time,
a sublime sequence saturated by what we don't see
as souls chained, unfree of selfish delude
of prude ways rained by ignorant's bliss...
i kiss your mouthes...
leave my disgraced taste apon your lips,
locked and sealed i dare you to breathe in
and feel the pain within the pain you instill
as i am ill...
love ill of the blind leading the blind.
I find love in unexpected ways,
through the windows of the day's unopened door
i pour out my soul on this canvas i create
an ornate gesture of a being filled with desire,
of dreames i've acquired in an unforgiving world...
I hold out my heart and i cry a little
for i know it's torture before it's fate...
heartache before the gate of grace.

Of Secret Rhymes

There is a language
of secret rhymes
revealed in time

by shameless Cupid's
curious aim
we learn his name

so often a curse
but then some days
the highest praise

let loose our mouthes
to plead, to shout
what must be out

love lends precious words
I never knew
to spend on you

with a brimming heart
and teaming tongue
the night is young
