Premium Member Beetle Mania

A Jewel beetle I did meet one day.
What a gem was she with her sparkling way.
Another beetle I’d been pining for . . .
the Mountain Pine beetle was easy to adore.

The Pinching beetle, also as Stag beetle is known.
It’s no wonder that he goes to parties all alone.
The Longhorn beetle has a crazy look.
But he’s no steer. He's one I will never cook!

Goliath beetle had one night a fight
with the beetle called Hercules. Oh, what a sight.
Carpet beetle tripped them by getting underfoot.
She’s the one on whom our money we ought to have put.

The beetle called Feather Horned sure gave me a tickle.
Hide beetle hid from me; that one is so fickle.
The beetle know as Skin was horrible as sin,
always bugging me, yes, she got under my skin.

Water beetle – for swimming has a yen,
I wonder if she gets thirsty now and then.
My favorite of beetles though is sweet Ladybug.
Always so polite, she gives my skin a hug.

Seeking Elusive Violets

seeking elusive violets
     in shadowy patches
           beneath jacaranda trees
a window of sunlight fell upon you

desiring your favor
     despite rapidly descending sky mists
            our eyes connected momentarily
my caramel riveted to your mountain pine

misted veil dropping quickly
     my carnal plans subverted
   by humidity’s mood

rendering song
       unto that which moves air
                eddies, curls and swirls
soon swept the fog like curtain afar

gathering buttercream yellow anemones
coupled with heather thick ferns and leaves
a bouquet of forest wealth gathered for you
requesting you spend the season’s breath
      with me

we summered and beyond
a petite blushing hand held mine
swimming lost in your windswept sea
                blood in my veins surged
           at a savory full smile
    chest leaping when your lips
            formed the name I carry
meadow green vision sipping of my affections
greedy for every pearl of my wine

Cherish the Divine

Cherish the divine
As stars twilight down
Over the earth and seas of enchantment
As they intertwine
With alot of fulfillment
Cherish the divine
Water rushes over the dam
Making a beautiful design
Where the fish all have swam
As the wind blows the Swiss mountain pine
Cherish the divine
Bay of rainbows over the seas
Wow how strong they shine
You can fill the breeze
As it drifts through the trees
Cherish the divine
The day moon extinguishes
With everything combined
Relishing the glows
As the sun starts to decline

An Autumn Masterpiece

An autumn masterpiece

As fall now spins its color wheel,
a’ changing of the leaves to share
In tangerines and crimsons tones,
now won’t you come and meet me there

Where apricot and cinnamon
tint valleys on this wondrous day
We’ll walk among the umber hues
together in the vast display

To feel the breeze upon our skin,
sweet wafting scents of mountain pine
So I may hold you close to me,
and know you’ll be forever mine

In amber, bronze and violet
a canopy of nature’s gleam
To glimpse the beauty far and near
with you would be a perfect dream

Perhaps we’ll share a tender kiss
while strolling neath a saffron sun
Admiring the season’s view
as nothing more could be such fun

Then spend the day in shaded bliss
beneath a pastel maple tree
Here in the park as autumn paints
a masterpiece for you and me

Lulu

The wrath of love strikes faster than it shines
Here comes lulu the coy queen of the desert shrines
A beautiful soul with more purity than the holy divine,
Come to me my love for I feel you way deeper than my spine,
Lulu the coy princess of the desert shrines,
With grace and pride come hold your love mountain pine.

Warmth, beauty and love in this kingdom of mine,
Nothing I ever dreamt of since lulu seized to dine,
With power, health and wealth all come to divide,
Come to me my love for I cry for you as much as you hide,
Lulu the heartless princess of the desert shrines,
With grace and pride come hold your mountain pine

A river of tears is what I describe as life,
When all my peace you took and turned into strife,
With love comes pain and all these is nothing less than rife,
Come to me my love for I pray for your forgiveness cut as sharp as a knife,
Lulu the lost princess of the desert shrines,
With grace and pride come hold your mountain pine

Thank You Almighty

Throughout our life
From beginning to end,
From infant to death,
We can’t think of a
Moment where his omnipresence fades,

We can’t do a bit,
Without his support, dedication and wit,

We cannot fight any battle,
If he doesn’t confer us mettle,

“HE” is ubiquitous
Everything created by him is purely precious,

He is the one and only “Supreme Deity”
One can marvel at his great spontaneity,

He is in the gleaming sunshine,
He is in the lofty mountain pine,

He is in the ocean,
He is in the sky,
He is responsible for birds to fly,

He is in the pulse.
He is in the beat,
He is in the wind,
He is in the heat,

He is in creation,
He is in imagination,

He is the weakness,
He is the power,

He is the vigour,
He is the trigger,

He is in you,
He is in me,
He always fulfils to our plea,

He is embellishment,
He is enchantment,

He is fantastic
He is majestic,

There is no end to his inventions,
As ceaseless are his dimensions,

It’s tough to endure without its mention,
Solving issues is easy with his convention,

I desperately and whole heartedly thank him for all he has granted,
As we are the roots he has planted,

The Crimson Lips of Dawn

The crimson lips of dawn
Have kissed the morning sky
Making it turn red with blush
As clouds go whisping by

The colors are magnificent
With hues of orange and red
The yellow from the rising sun
Puts night time shades to bed

The ocean gives reflection
With its diamond coated waves
Pipers dance a ballet
And the seagulls act like knaves

Further in the traffic
Of the city starts to flow
The hustle and the bustle
People moving to and fro

The noise is quite abundant
There's confusion all around
There is no peace and quiet
Only inner city sounds

But then the dawn moves westward
Toward the mountains and the plains
The wheat feilds stand and wave their hands
As breezes sing refrains

This is where I long to be
When lost inside my mind
Nesting with the eagles
In a lonely mountain pine

Or camped along the riverside
Fishing with the bears
I'll build a dam with beavers
And I'll climb some mountain stairs

And I'll chase the sun. If must, I'll run
To reach the western sea
To find if crimson lips will kiss
The setting sun for me

Der Duft der Bergkiefer
Der Sommerwind trägt ihn hinunter

The scent of mountain pine
Summer wind carries it
Down to mountains' foot

Aroma del pino de montaña
El viento de verano lo lleva abajo
Al pie de las montañas
