The miracle of birth alone
For unto you can only be known
Now your arduous journey has begun
Like a flower blossoming under the sun
The pain and emotions you go through and endure
A love unsullied and so pure
And the source of strength you somehow derived
Till your new born arrived
For unto one’s life is born another
There is no love greater than that of a mother

to love and be loved

Premium MemberMother’s Day

Morning sunshine is bright like her love
Onyx hair streaked with wisdom gray
Turquoise sky blessed from God above
Honoring every mom on her special day
Even if your mom is in heaven do know
Red love like roses bloom despite demise
Smile as she did and continue to grow

Do look up remember her words so wise
Amethyst prayers and silver scripture true
Yellow wishes a happy Mother’s Day too

Premium Member What Is A Mother's Love? - CM

A mother's love, wings of a dove, will cover me.
Starting my life, with a midwife, a baby cries.
Growing older, always for me, loving shoulder.
Life without you, I cry daily, so very blue.

Premium MemberA Mother's Worries (A Mother's Love)

Last time I saw her, you could feel the autumn breeze
Digging through all these memories of a picture and a thousand words
Remembering all the summers past, with a laugh on this day
Although a mother's worries may seem to go unnoticed
You gave us all someone to look up to all these years
With the silent love two doves could share forever
This is what we all hold onto to, your hand was always there
Raising six from child through every changing season
And, the tears of another sweet sixteen
It was with a gentle touch of a mother's love
You give us all something to believe in
Another photograph will finds its place
There are some things you can't put into words
There might not be a marching band, or banners in flight
Know that the love from all of us, is yours

Mama, are you thinking of me?
I was thinking of you, too
Wonder what all you see
And the things you do.

Is the canvas from heaven breathtaking?
I bet the peace feels like bliss
No worries or constant aching
Just a heavenly, gentle kiss.

Wish that heaven had a landline,
I know that we would talk
I would hold your hand in mine
And we could take a walk.

Time flies too fast down here,
Does time stand still there?
I miss having you near,
But I'm sure you're aware.

Yesterday was Mother's Day again,
It had me feeling some sorta way
Perhaps you were listening in,
In your nurturing way.

After everything we've been through.
Our memories are vast
Just know that I love you
present, future, and past.

Made motherless
in your mid teens,
father removed by grief,
brother and sister
crying out, your youth
was taken by need.
Emotions went subterranean,
kept capped too deep in you
to weep to the surface.
You became a mother.

As a child
I never knew your pain,
I was too busy with my own.
You carried those unhealed
scars under a granite veneer.
Tears were meant to be held
back and arms kept busy
baking and servicing
the myriad of chores
a housewife did back then.
They were not meant
for holding me.

We loved from a distance.
Only in the slow dissolution
of your dying did we see each
other as we were.
We talked for hours
until words were done
and there came a silence
where existed only love
between mother and son

Premium MemberOde to Mothers

Mother – thy name is Blessed
	For thou art the
		Nurture of the Soil
		Fruit of Love
		Product of Thy womb

Thou art the comfort of
		The Soul

None is more blessed by
		Israel than art Thou

MOTHER

Thou art the progenitor of
		The Universe

The Mistress of the
		Future

	And Time Honors you!
