Female mosquitos live forty-two days
Feeding on our blood in brutal mean ways
Causing itchy bumps on our tender skin
Healthy male mosquitoes die ten days in

Vampires and Mosquitos

Vampires and Mosquitos, they’re both out for blood each in their own way, one sucks the life out of you and the other just wants a taste
But when it pertains to love there is a big difference between the two, you my love were like the vampire but a little like the mosquito too

Culex mosquitoes travel in herds.
Common in Canada, America too.
They feed on mammals, especially birds.
European cousins could come after you.
Causing itching, sucking blood, my word.
Get out of their way if you see a few,

I have a new girlfriend her name is Mary-Jane.  
I think she's from the south where the plants grow green and bright.  
Mary Jane and I just spent the hot afternoon together ?
Watching the passage of time through a lens that she brought along just for this occasion.

The heat makes the air

Mosquitos

Mosquitoes roar with laughter,
They ridicule and scoff
When they see us lowly humans
Spray ourselves with Off.
They chuckle and they giggle
As they bite us through the shirt
"I'll have some Off for dinner
And some plasma for dessert."

Those dirty little mosquitoes cause many a virus
Malaria, west nile, yellow fever and elephantiasis
Don't mean to make light
At the last one, I looked twice
Parts of my body could benefit from enlarging twice

Mosquitos Agony

They fight to death
Drenched by thirst
No need to resist-
Their Waterloo 
They met

They sip little
And leave the jar
Harmless, they are-
They purge that little
Hope for more, undeterred

Do they last days?
Before they're taken preys
By the erring humans-

Their agonies I feel
