torrential downpours ~ here comes that rainy day feeling again

oh clouds that drift and hover above
a journey a trajectory and path unknown
ocean waves battering thundering to shores
oh woods where tangled vines creep birds sing
birds of many species singing with joy each day
flowers wild and unruly twining and creeping
winds with their constant solemn music
rain that the forests and woods drink
blue water in ponds streams rivers and lakes
oh creatures that sleep in hollows safe from harm
sun in the azure sky shining on earth
moon up there trustworthy for night dreams
Midnight rides—his pulse aligns with the thunder beneath him
fingers tracing her curves polishing fire into steel.
Wind against his skin she sings beneath him once more
Saturday mornings spent bathing her shine in devotion
One last glance—wait for me—before stepping inside
his grip firm not on the world but the rhythm of her frame.
The highway fades yet she alone knows the way home
rain or shine she waits unwavering at his door
Twilight drapes them in gold two shadows stretching as one
beautiful chrome heart racing—her name dissolving into the wind.
Monoku Prayers
Those who live in grass huts speak no prayers for rain, but do bless the dew…

As long as I see the sky and feel spring rain and sing a song there's hope.
He...sends rain on the just and on the unjust. ~Matthew 5:54
Despite the rain life remains unchanged.
Frozen windshield wipers -blurred vision
Rain tames sizzling summer pavement as steam turns into evaporation
Rains tapping on metal roof- ancient musical instruments
The sky doesn't protest the rain
it welcomes the coolness
the freshness of it's calming ability
it doesn't have to raise its voice
it takes turns listening
and finds a happy medium
among its clouds
the rain and it's raindrops
and the wind as it whistles
"Rain is God's tears upon us." Quote By Poet
Raindrops coming down~a very tearful God

none dance in rainshowers where tears flood the streets
A cold wind chilled rain
Dances with a warming sun
…April’s goose bumps
Mushy melting leaves
Replenish the earth
…As earthworms daydream
An Easter ribbon
Adorns a Robins nest
…she sits silently
Trouble in paradise
A gang of dandelions
…flash dancing
The cat grins
A rose garden litter box
…how thoughtful
