In Plain Sight

The hood is foregone.
Into the past, of fired crucifixes upon front lawns.
The day has begun, a new dawn.
Bare faced, in the sun's illumination.
Guised within the roles that make a nation.
Spread throughout vital occupations.
Where darkened communities suffer from the
bleached cohorts occupation.
From tainted patrols roaming free on the range
with no scrutiny.
To deliver captives to like minded counselors
and judiciary.
As aesculapian institutions dispense succor to
the most monetary.
In conjunction with polity, where signed documentation
continues urban poverty.
Strengthened by miseducation from chameleon educators,
educated with an educational degree.
Conjoined in unity of conspiracy, waltzing through the
capital of democracy.
The confederates state their supremacy optically.
It is time for the rolling back of sleeves, to fight
the good fight with bravery.
   Steadfast, and observe closely.
For the greatest trick the devil ever pulled, as evil stands
before you and me.

Premium Member Healthy Attitude

I suspect what most of us want from our families
and communities
has something to do with living as healthy as possible
for as long as possible,
sustainably,
not just through our own lifetimes
but throughout multigenerational lifelines
from past through future
health regenerators
of nutritional wealth maintainability.

These are families
and communities
breeding loyalty
and gratitude,
positive attitude
although our local Boards of Education
(and don't even think about federal departments
of competitive miseducation)
seem to not so much cooperatively
and economically
and ecologically
think this through together
as ways and means
for deep mutual gratitude learning,
listening,
speaking and feeling with Earth honoring integrity,
whether you discover this as sacred ecology
or merely secular cooperative economic matriarchal history,
depends on whether you go to Religious High
or Secular Humanist Public High
and deep
and widely grateful
for public patriotic
and domestic sacred matriotic
learning,
healing,
ego with eco-integrity
for Left with Right mutual gratitude,
healthy attitude.

Death In Poetry

 Was he wrong to suggest
“All poetry, in a way, is about death.”
He was in such earnest
I was obsessed with that research

One may write of the loss of family:
Usually a parent, more unusually of a child
Then, too, families are lost voluntarily:
Divorce, foster homes, sibling rivalry gone wild!

Another may write of an aborted career
The miseducation of his or her youth
A “calling” may be from God, or less clear
Alas, hate and scheming, are part of this truth

Yet others may chisel out a poem, or ballad,
With haunting memories of a land far away
Of lover hung, exiled, drowned. More hallowed and sacred
Is your own love lost, shared … or unhallowed matrimony

So, there I had it, a monk weeping over lost purity
A maiden having valued not her virgin birthright
Are losses, or deaths, mediated by individuality
Even seasons gone, is a temporary death and flight

For in the grand scheme of things – I say Abba-Father
The seasons do cycle back on no man-made, circular invention
All things teach, preach, - are good, says the Creator
If love makes room for love of the Author of Resurrection!

Letting Her Out

I found the one thing they all rushed to catch
Before it could ever float away to return no more
I found this dear called love and mama couldn't be more proud of me
She said child hold on to it and never let go
By all means necessary l fought
I fought to keep the world happy and like a martyr
True self was sacrificed
Betrayed by guilt
It's fate sealed by miseducation about life
My world, the center of my universe
I now choose to live and this time l come first
I will be the iron lady l hated so much and tried to melt
I will be that child who knew all the answers
Then she was too humble to say them out loud
I will be the poetry writer who was never afraid
Who expressed how she felt
This time not only in a piece of paper
I will embrace pretty and brainy as a part of me
Never try to trim the edges
I have opened the door way and now am letting her out

Hello!

Miseducation was the annihilation of this race.
Ignorance is bliss & you can see the obvious in their face.

Glaze into their eyes & witness the apathy of a shell.
An from the looks: they had been, converse with the devil, & came back from hell.

Should I be exile because my words convey volumes of the truth?
Or should I be stoned. Really am I wrong, just because I want to enlighten you?

Let's take their shackles off our minds! Appreciate all creeds & every kind. An race is not a factor because love is blind...HELLO!

We Well Rise

We well rise beyond the occasion of miseducation
to succeed in the process of educating our mind.

We well rise beyond the misery and pain
to find happieness and ambition and the arising

We well rise against the racism slang
to accomplishes so much more

We well rise above the destruction and treagedy
to succeed in reality

We well soar through the air like a eagle
to catch a breath of fresh air

We well rise beyond our limits to reach
our spiritual image.

To succeed in life beyond our misfortune
to live beside the fortune
