With patience slow down the loss of youth,
it will inevitably get here soon enough;
Live in the moment black sheep rebel!
As you did, as you would, at sixteen;
It will inevitably get here soon enough,
paint each day gently no need to blitz;
As you did, as you would, at sixteen,
give yourself to the pull of heartstrings;
Paint each day gently no need to blitz,
each stroke adds to this canvas of life;
Give yourself to the pull of heartstrings,
ambitiously dream on a grande scale;
Each stroke adds to this canvas of life,
mundane hues or a spirited party;
Ambitiously dream on a grande scale,
lest you just survive microscopic;
Mundane hues or a spirited party,
live in the moment black sheep rebel;
Lest you just survive microscopic,
with patience slow down the loss of youth.

I am Microscopic
The Ant of Man
A speck of dust, a particle
A tiny grain of sand
I swarm in swarms on Mother Earth
I am the alpha of Her birth
It is me I worship, Pagan Man!
– In idolatry of all I stand
Forged in my own image, I am
Cut out, organic
Of plaster, dust and granite –
I am the earthen works, the pillars of antiquity
The Stonehenge of the mystic tribe; I seize
The crust, the mantle
The liquid rock and all that I can handle
Midas-like I have the touch
Of gold within my hand
Where water turns to wine
And dust into the Sands of Time –
I am Atlas Shrugged, I bend
Man and metal with my mind
I achieve the sky in shrieks and cries
– My shadow reaches far and wide
Of me, Myself, I sing, a deity
Manifest of destiny, statuesque
Unscripted and inspired
In dominion over everything:
Water, wind and fire –
I raise my Mighty Self above it all –
I am the Architect, behold
My ego reaching high!
I am Alpha and Omega – it is I!
Microscopic? Only to the eye!

damona, look at where we are
you seem to know
have you been here before
the way that your eyes are lighting up, i think i have my answer
i just laugh as the waves crash saying hello to us
i thank God that you found me
i think of my mother now
she died of colon cancer with her mouth open still trying to fight
the last time i saw her there was something about the smile on her face
question marks are sea gulls as summertime snowflakes
damona yelps me out of my reverie and quiet thought
as we walk on the empty beach
i think about how malnourished damona was and the message God sent me
i went on about the lost material items
i cried about the money that i wished that i still had
i cursed everyone without knowing that i was actually doing so
however, they are living their lives and celebrating their better choices
damona is showing signs of hunger and thirst like me
i reach into my bag and prepare our brunch and water
partially satisfied, we walk on while saying hello to the sun
we discover right then and there what we both took for granted
we sit still and embrace our Blessings, which now consists of many merged little things

Myopic Microscopic
Microscopic myopic;
Melanoma Glaucoma;
Abnormalities.
Part of my wishes;
Song group became suspicious;
Serendipity.
Whippy da do die;
There must be another way,
My guitar to try.
Society boon
So started playing the tune;
Ended up on moon.
Moon is a sexist;
Man who you cannot resist;
Should add to Trump's list.

I ached. Was sore all over my body, my arms, my legs, my core.
My insides, my outsides, my get up and go had got up and gone to a war.
I didn’t know why my strength decided to leave. Leaving me all spent and beat.
Once I could run, laugh, dance all night long but now I just tasted defeat.
Then I questioned the food in my diet; the meat and veg, the grain, dairy, and pieces of fruit.
I drank plenty of water. Drank it each day. And I still felt exhausted, alone, destitute.
So I tried to think clearly. Think of simple solutions, to get me out of that mess.
But my mind, it was cloudy, I couldn’t think straight, my head, it was in so much distress.
Conquered I lay down and wondered about other tired folk, the drained folk all down, out and blue.
That’s when I remembered, their doctor fixed them, giving each of them a shot for the flu.
My arms, my legs, my body, my core were all in a war, a war so miserable, dreadful and tragic.
But the doctor gave me antibodies, a microscopic cavalry. They saved the day by doing their magic.
