He had to be mad
to invade Ukraine
his troops followed orders
they must all be insane
to cross the borders
an unwarranted attack
by a megalomaniac
bombarding innocents
who couldn't fight back
one leader was a comedian
the other is a clown
the former gave us smiles
the latter makes us frown
what do the Russians hope
to achieve or accomplish
by destroying all they covet
leave us alone Ukraine's only wish
and it would be right in the pocket
if Zelenskyy signed a docket
for a galoot in cahoots
who's a-rootin' tootin'
to shoot a stealth rocket
between the ears of the idiot Putin

Lore of second chances,
it will be different;
Mouth filled with broken words
not repaired repeated;
You wound with gentle swords;
Lore of second chances,
new day new beginning;
Then it’s just deja vu;
Megalomaniac
parading ballyhoo;
Lore of second chances,
don’t buy into banter;
Focusing on action
reveals what’s underneath
whitewashed with attraction.

Russia pounds Bakhmut to dust in 2022
Putin bombs and tortures civilians too
Western diplomats warn, "Naughty, naught, shouldn't do!"
No marches, no protests, no counterattacks, no coup
Putin smirks: "Civilians? Them, we do not attack!"
Words of a fox, a liar, a megalomaniac
Zelensky and Ukraine fight back with all their might
But in 2023, Ukraine's nearly out of arms
~ quite a desperate plight
Zelensky awaits reinforcements from the West, but alas
The delivery system is almost out of gas
Enmeshed in partisan jawing and enmity on Capitol Hill
Never forget: If Ukraine loses, Western lives pay the bill

Pandemic
Deaths gaining power on a mission to devour,
Negative encounters. Chrysanthemum flowers.
Deaths dangerous, not slowing but growing,
The momentums mind blowing,
constantly going.
Death is mysterious, hooded, cold blooded.
Untrusted, never obstructed, working uninterrupted.
Cloak of black, megalomaniac,
never looking back
insomniac.
Death sees themself brilliant, highly resilient,
Extremely consistent, noticed we are coexistent.
Works smart not hard, little regard
Constant bombard
Leaving us scarred.
Cruelly placing death in our breath
We assess this mess then rightly obsess.
Death made segregation and a desperate situation,
Threatened civilisation, created isolation,
Next up vaccination.

True, a Myth-and-a-half ever since dim Antiquity
“Breathes there the Man with Soul so dead
Who never to himself hath said
This is my own, my Native Land”
True, a myth-and-a-half ever since dim antiquity
Who breeds and holds the brood in binding sanctity
Isn’t s/he who sows and let grow blood ties in family
Don’t leaders all use the ruse of saluting country
La Patrie is never the suffering Peoples’ victory
They lay their lives down for their leaders’ greater glory
The plot of land’s where the Soul ignites anonymity
In the au-delà is not country mere pure vanity
Leaders lay wreathes at monuments for tv publicity
Upstarts win lone battle or two through freakish strategy
And let expanding borders be besieged by many enemy
Yet end-up somehow by losing the Imperial Army
Shouldn’t he who seeks to foist himself on a polity
Be required to pass the test of Ego-immunity
No vaccination nor re-inoculation would be free
From an overdose of megalomaniac frenzy

At a Megalomaniac Convention
At a megalomaniac convention
I fell in love with me
So I proposed and asked myself
Will you marry me?
No, I said, I’m too good for you!
Yet much to my chagrin
No, Was not an Answer
So, I asked myself again
Please marry me I asked once more
The question now redundant
But when your ego is big like mine
Results are not abundant
I went to the county courthouse
For a license to see me through
All they did was look at me
And said, there’s only one of you!
I then went home to kill myself
But I had run my luck
For every time I shot myself
My ego made me duck
And now here we all sit
The two of us that’s me
Blaming megalomania
For my split personality

Villanelle : If only it were as easy as to turn the clock back
If only it were as easy as to turn the clock back
Seize the best missed chances men let drop through self-righteous pique
Make learning processes Life's axiom out of lack
Naïve unheeding men bear treacherous women on back
Women who trick playing on heartstrings sympathetique
If only it were as easy as to turn the clock back
Make Alexander believe Zeus his father, alack !
Exiled jealous usurp Philip's throne through palace intrigue
Make learning processes Life's axiom out of lack
Whisper in proud Macbeth's ear words megalomaniac
Sink the Highland Kingdom down black witches' brew in guts sick
If only it were as easy as to turn the clock back
Men who out of pity for the fairer sex their minds wreck
Their mothers' milk still uncurdled in their mouths saveur unique
Make learning processes Life's axiom out of lack
How many the missed opportunities lie crushed on tarmac
Roads traversed in parallel lives might not they criss-cross psychic
If only it were as easy as to turn the clock back
Make learning processes Life's axiom out of lack

Train To Auschwitz
By R.e. Taylor
How many
How many men, women and children
How many were herded onto those trains
Packed in like worthless hunks of meat
No food or water
Nowhere to sleep or sit
No cool air to breathe
They had no idea where they were going
No idea how long they would be there
But they all had hopes that it would be better
They would be able to at least live
But there were other plans
A megalomaniac decided for them
They were hated for so many reasons
Not one made any sense
But they were condemned for them anyway
Beaten, raped and murdered they had no chance
They were burned or buried in mass unmarked graves
Today, the tracks still remain
As do the memories of so many who were killed

The twisted logic
of the megalomaniac
keeps reality
at bay
bejeweled in tinsel palaces
blissfully unaware
of mounting public anger
to sweep the cancer
away.

Henry is revered as a great man, a teacher, like he was our saviour,
But what about his immoral philosophy and evil behaviour?
The Kent State shootings, an act of insanity,
Operation menu, a crime against humanity.
A brutal bombing campaign against an innocent civilian population,
Not a single person ever brought to justice from the Nixon administration.
A monster philosopher of wealth and subversion, a master hypocrite,
But so many describe him as a man of great charm and wit.
I find these comments perplexing, the man violated human rights worldwide,
Was involved in Pinochet’s bloody coup in Chile and Indonesia’s genocide.
Christopher Hitchens told the truth about this monster, he even wrote a book,
The trails of Henry Kissinger, an interesting analysis of the crook.
His crimes were ruthless and cold, an obvious amoral megalomaniac,
A two-faced, callous beast who just loved to attack.

Government, Oh Government
By Valerie Odom
January 12, 2017
Government, oh government
Why focus on the bigger picture
Why control, divide, and deprive us
Are you some sort of deceptionist
Or maybe a megalomaniac
Why you gotta lie to us
Government, oh government
Make us work for our freedom
While you take most of our pay
When you know it’s suppose to be
Tax Season
Government, oh government
This world we live in was given for free
So who do you think you are to make me pay a house renting fee
A water bill AND electricity
That’s messed up
They must want everyone homeless and on the streets
While we smoke crack and they drink tea
While we try to hustle they get things for free
While we make a movement they kill our dreams
That’s not how things are supposed to be
