Babylonia : Part Four - A Babylonian Paradise
Come in, come in, all are welcome!
Welcome to Babylonia! Welcome home.
Every animal is welcome here,
You can be yourself;
You have no need to fear.
Babylonia has always and shall always be here.
The place for all animals, when they wish to retire.
Tired of the rat race? Need something better?
Then Babylonia is for you friend, there is no place I’d rather
Spend the rest of eternity in;
I’d like to introduce you all to my wife and kids.
I am Groat, the goat and we have very lush grass.
Feel free to help yourself, to whatever you come across.
The world is your oyster; your greed is your clam.
This is paradise and you are all welcome.
Jungle to your left, ocean to your right;
Mountains beyond the valleys behind me.
Open your eyes to your new paradise!
Over a million trees and every day you will meet a new species.
It isn’t kill or be killed,
But I understand some of you have a need.
So hunt your prey,
Or raise a family.
Live your lives,
However you want them to be.
You can see through the water on a sunny day; I love the smell
And forget the pollution…This is Heaven, not Hell.
Whatever you wish for is yours if you can find it my friends;
But this Heaven is so large you shall never reach the end.
Eternal life here in paradise;
Generations of families sit together to talk at night.
Let us all be one great family,
Or let us all at least do as we please…
Then we shall be free.
The fruits of Eden’s vine are nothing compared to our fruit.
The juiciest, tastiest, manna sent from Heaven.
You are now all free to do whatever you choose.
I am simply here to welcome you all in…
My Friends;
The Animals.

Akanji Michael Oluwasayo,
Celebrate today, it's yours
Darling, you must not stop
Keep pushing, aiming top
Even when you forget notch
Keep an open eye to watch
The mile window of your soul
Remember to make it whole
You must not wane
Keep on for the gain
Freeze not for the pains
Like frozen ice maintains
May you not live to work forever
While working to live whatsoever
Come what may your bio's tale
May you never fail as you sail...
Through God's earthly test
Be simple at grace's best
Aduragbemi Deborah,
World is your oyster
Keep the pearl out of its shell
A cool account- how time fell
Farewell may be bittersweet
Journey anew off its heat
And remain loyal to the Crown
Reminiscing it would be fun
Summon up your gracious spirit
Abiding in Almighty's top secret
Never disregard Christ saving blood
No matter how tough is life's flood
Thy face is a real beauty
O perfection not man's duty
Timed learning its unjust drill
Screaming bills justly thrill
Through God's earthly test
Be simple at grace's best
Quadijah Mojisola Abdulkareem,
When by worth belittled, don't scream
Implore personal conference in His grace
Snub not needful worship course embrace
It is your life's precious hunt
Making off earthly pursuit front
Of less difficulty cum seasonal switch
In its chase, He would treasure its stitch
In Him is your only faith's gain
Fair enough to make sins plain
And give unworthy blessings
No man can cover in dressings
Tell Him, to show you the best ward
To bow thy head for your aging lord
Just don't be too choosy
Pure loving bliss woozy
Through God's earthly test
Be simple at grace's best
Carpe Diem, seize the day
Live by the rules of the game you play
The world is your oyster, enjoy the ride
When the going gets tough, look on the bright side
Silence is golden, take that to the bank
Put that in your pipe while smoke screens draw blank
Though money makes the world go round
Speak louder through actions than through sound
Empty vessels make the most noise
Best medicine, laughter, daily poise
Fool me once means shame on you
Shame on me, that’s fooled times two
Follow your heart, reach for the stars
Dreams come true, firefly jars
A bird in hand is worth two in a bush
When push comes to shove, shove comes to push
A stitch in time always saves nine
As luck still favors prepared minds
Fortune favors the brave at heart
Every ending once had a start
Live your life without regret
‘Tis better to forgive and to forget
We’re proned to get as hard as we give
Throw stones in the glass houses we live
Don’t count your chickens before they hatch
Two birds with one stone, that’s quite a catch
A rolling stone gathers no moss
Too many cooks spoil the broth
Just try again if you don’t succeed
And don’t believe everything you read
Make every experience educational
To think twice before speaking is critical
Let sleeping dogs lie I always say
Cause every dog will have his day
To be taught new tricks no matter the age
Nothing ventured, nothing gained
Two heads they say is better than one
Violence isn’t always the key my son
Beggars can’t choose, that much we know
More haste less speed, no time to grow
When seams come undone, it’s cause for concern
We are what we are, we live what we learn
‘It looks soo dark and gloomy’
It only seems that way,
You haven’t yet seen the beauty of the rising sun
‘The day is soo grey’
It only seems that way,
You haven’t yet smelled the fresh alluring aroma of the rain watered earth
‘This is impossible, I will never get it right’
It only seems that way,
You haven’t yet noticed that by the very spelling Im-Possible; there are endless possibilities awaiting, each adventure exposing you to new riches of knowledge
‘I can’t do it’
It only seems that way,
You haven’t yet tried all the keys to open the lock
‘The night is soo dark and I can’t sleep’
It only seems that way,
You haven’t yet opened your curtain; see the twinkling stars and Luna’s light.
Open your window and let the crickets serenade you into slumber
‘The hard times come, and I am soo alone’
It only seems that way,
You haven’t yet noticed my arms around you, holding you gently in my embrace
You are soo loved, soo cherished, soo adored,
Even in the hardest of times, when you feel you can’t go on
It only seems that way,
The silver lining is waiting to lead you out of the inky abyss,
All you need to do is look up and follow
Take a deep breath and know;
You are soo much stronger than you think you are
You are soo much more than you ever dreamed
The world is your oyster to conquer and achieve
And all things are possible,
If you only dare to believe.
To lose your sight at any age
Such bad luck, such misfortune
Feeling your life has come to an end
When all you need is a loyal friend
You feel like a prisoner within your own frame
Unable to venture outside again
There is no incentive to carry on
Surrounded by blackness; your eyesight has gone
Life as you knew it has come to an end
You have no life, you cannot see, so let us not pretend
But wait, just open up your mind to see a shining light
She is Bella
She’s your guide dog
She’s your eyes and your eyesight
Her black coat is so glossy, she is cute and oh so sweet
Her tender eyes, so loving, so black and oh so deep
As she gently guides you through your life, with unconditional love
Like an Angel she appeared for you, sent down from up above
As you start a life in tandem, many challenges you face
You venture out together at a slightly slower pace
Traveling as one, as you tackle life’s ups and downs
No time for tears, no time for fears, no time for facial frowns
For that beautiful life that came through your door
Offering so much love and hope once more
The World is your Oyster, so much you can do
With Bella by your side, as she guides you safely through

FIRST PLACE
Dear Edward,
Grow out your wings first
before you flap them, little bird.
Your wings aren't strong enough
to fly just yet; keep your feet firmly
planted on the ground, for now.
Keep the wheels of your dreams spinning;
it will pay dividends in the future.
Keep burning that midnight oil
to make every dream of yours a reality,
and stay true to that mission
Someday your wings will take you
to dizzying heights. Take advantage
of every opportunity that presents itself,
big or small. The world is your oyster.
The sky is the limit for you
You can accomplish anything you set
your mind to. Forge your own path. Pursue...
your passion with unbridled zeal.
Anything you're good at or enjoy doing, do it
the best you possibly can and do it contently.
Don't let self-doubt defeat you. Do not
fall prey to self-fulfilling prophecy. Laugh
in the face of your naysayers, and refuse to
allow them to define you. Your time to shine
is now, today; right this very moment!
Take constructive criticism, not as a slight
but as inspirational fuel. Don't let anyone
dictate when you should have your place
in the sun. Grow out your wings, little bird,
and soar to the heavens!

Thank you for telling me that God
I needed it
I need to hear what I did was wrong
Thank you Lord
A lot of times I don’t realize it God
Until it comes out of me
And I quickly realize
Whether it’s a wrong thought
How I think about things
About world, my world
Everything that goes on around me
The day to day living
I quickly realize that what I thought about something
Some people, some issues, ideas
Are wrong
And you catch me on it
Corrected me
Let me know the right way
The way it should be
And I appreciate it Lord
I appreciate you
For taking the time
To be with me and hone me on things
You are incredible
Whatever that you cannot do
There is nothing that you cannot do God
The world is your oyster
And you are helping me
Hallelujah, thank you Lord
I have absolute trust in you
I know that you can do all things
That you will help me to perfection
Awesome God
Your incredible power
Absolutely mysterious
You amaze me
I don’t know what to say
Of everything I know about you
So far
There is so much to know
So much to learn
Of your ways
Thank you Lord for the journey
You are absolutely amazing
And I am speechless
Do you see it, do you know
What the mirror sees, how you glow?
Your eyes so bright so fascinating
Your smile so wide, illuminating
You love so well, your soul so free
You embrace it all, even me
Your life seems so simple, you make it so
Although there is much I don't see, or even know
You often can wander, amuse yourself
When I would be stricken, and confused - Myself
Things I would never dare, not even consider
You lunge into 'thout care, 'thout even a dither
You laugh when you smile, and smile thence thus
The whole world is your oyster, quick joy your lust
I can see you now, walking, bright-eyed, into life
the grand marquee, the circus, all strife
You don't care if anyone is near, beside you
Don't care for anyone to protect, to hide you
So where will you go, and what will you do
When all others fail, and I in shadow, lover, mute
Do you think of consequence, of failure, like me
Or do you surge on, no care, conscience free
I often wonder, as I wander in my analytical fugue
Do you wonder, feel, love, know, as I do?
The world is your oyster
And you are the pearl
Encased in you soft surroundings
But still able to twirl.
We are held inside this case
To develop and grow
Into the people we want to become
To plant the seeds we want to sow.
So, we take a blank canvas
And place it in front of us
To prepare a masterpiece, a painted picture
Of hope, love, faith, and trust.
The chalk a child so lovingly holds
To make a pretty picture
Soon becomes our paintbrush of life
And takes us on an adventure.
We pearls travel through the ocean
To end up on the other side
We become the people we wish to be
When we journey through our lives.
The chalk runs in cascades around us
Mixing together our trials
Making our world form as one
Letting us travel for miles.
The world is our oyster
Providing us with a home
For us, the pearls, to journey in
Where we can become brilliant and well-known.
Feel the burning of the lights
Let your heart race for the millionth time
That rush of unseen adrenaline
Wondering when the show will begin
Velvet curtains and gilded ropes
This could make or break your hopes
Will this night leave you in chains
Or will there be something for you to gain
As the lights beat down on you now
You start to sweat before the final bow
You wonder if they notice the flaws in your performance
Hear the acceptance or despair of the audience
Then you make your way to the stage
The world is your oyster or the world is your cage
Hello, judgment, you don't scare me
And I'd never do anything differently
Then at the end when applause fills my ears
It has appeased and dulled my fears
I endured the desperation of the fight
Now there's one question left, is this a play, or real life?
