Her cremated ashes scattered to all the four winds
White, powdery and chalk like material
Devoid of any vestigial semblance
To her once living and vibrant self
That unique persona pulverized and vaporized
(Housed former svelte and tall Arthur Murray
Ballroom dance teacher
A half-century plus prior to demise
Which beauty, charm and grace
Quickly caught the attention of my father,
Who courted and eventually proposed
To this young flirt and ingenue tease of a gal)
Inert organic matter now represents
Sole residual embodiment
Reduced to dust and near nothingness
Former corporeal being of blood, bone and flesh
Weighing no more than
A dozen hatch marks on the scale
Absence still bears down heavy
Like some millstone round the neck
Per the black hole void
Created by defeat with Grim Reaper
Toward this woman
Who helped birth and nurse me into manhood
Momma’s only grown son
Still feel ripples of grievous sadness
No matter the years of suppressed anger and rage
In addition to emotional conflicts between us
Which invariably wrought unpleasant relationship
And a legacy of discord writ large
Across the tapestry of my life.
Victory !!! – Bitter Sweet
A David and Goliath day !
I got to see and feel a just way
handed down by a court of this land
as questioning – evidence presented by this hand
lead the judge to find in my favour,
against I.C.B.C. - lawyer Karen Curtis – to savour
the taste of this win left very little flavour,
for I felt that it was a hollow victory
as I walked home feeling no glory.
My Past hangs .
In eight by tens, upon the four walls of my room.
In three and a half by fives, on pages of my books of history,
accompanied by notes, letters, cards that soon
will reach seventy three volumes, telling the story
of experiences, of memories, of life one once did live
in the dreams of light and the nightmares of dark.
A life, in which, little did I have to give.
The desire of the dream and reality, in comparison, very stark
The Future ???
Images rippling across the distorted surfaces of mirrors
that are hidden behind so many closed doors,
that lie buried before the eyes of one’s life,
as time slices into tiny pieces, with its keen knife,
the rainbow colours that hang in the sun, like spider webs
as the shadows, the light, drift in and out, ebbs
and flows towards places no one knows
and on and on… and on it goes.
These veiled dreams of ones days, hope for gayety of ones heart,
a desire for change, for gain, to find a brand new start.
The Present .
Silent, empty moments, flashes of brilliant light reflected
upon the corneas of the mind’s eye, seldom, if ever, detected,
a brief glimpse of, – then quickly vaporized – that is infected
with viruses from the past, the future, the present passing by.
Which is it that finds me ?, and just where ?, stands I ?,
as thoughts about take wing and sour on high.

His winds vaporized my sins
Casting them away from me once again
I am leaving myself those my sins
placing them in the ocean turning to the mist
When they disappeared blowing soapy water bubbles rise
Children rise to the air to find them
So He separates our sins as far as the East is from the West
He is my virtue He is my test
I am blessed His wings vaporized my sins
And as I catch them off the heavenly compassionately
He ever loves me always is the wind He vaporized my sin
Castings from me them in the ocean
Where they dissipate turning to the myth
Vapors rise children ride blowing soapy water bubbles rise children
Come out from amongst them

~ a thought bubble requires - quiet space ~
quote by poet
Silence can say more than words
don't be intimidated
The white clouds spun in silk
invites you to an inner calm -
opens for a deeper form of intimacy
Vulnerability is vaporized fleetingly
The crown of the choral finale in the symphony
Listen ...
be brave and patient
dare to be quiet
I can feel the chorus getting more jubilant

Poem of the Day : 31.03.2023
Living in a realm where
the air seems to
be still as stone,
invisible, like a
ghost of a rose,
translucent and frozen in
time of ruthless seconds.
My heart still
keeps pacing to
hear the flickering
rays of your voice,
flatlined and hushed
beyond reach,
whilst I’m here
searching for
serenity through
sanguine serenades,
woven meticulously
to my soul,
in unwavering waves from
thousand seas away.
What can I do to make you
love me like I love you,
must I steal the stars
from its rightful skies,
just so that I can
please your eyes?
Or should I hide behind these
rhymeless phrases,
where veiled vowels
and nonchalant nouns
within poetic punctuations
pierce through
this bleeding quill?
Would it seem like these
tunes have been tortured
together to descend and
tangle with tainted thorns?
Tormented traps tied
from an invincible inferno.
But aren’t we breathing
within binary
codes constantly?
surfing through the
zigzags of repetitive
numbers and
acrobatic alphabets,
vaporized amongst
empty spaces where
the universe unfolds
parallel paradigms.
Losing human connection
in the deafening silence,
while channelled tunnels
carry wires through
unassigned boards,
falling on our
intellectual swords,
fingers tap against
the cold keys,
unable to feel the
warmth behind words-
misunderstood and
misinterpreted as
mountains eclipse the sun.
So let me grieve over
the unsung sonnets;
maybe one-day I’ll meet my moon
in a sphere of immutable melodies—
forever calming these chaotic calligraphies.
Though joyousness impaled,
albeit skewered over poker hot coals

molten psychological magma
kindling sparks incinerate
nonetheless inchoate coalescence

fostering, glomming, harking
futile hellbent fixation manifests
imperceptible yearning inclination
atavistic aspiration toward archangel
fleetingly overrides pathos
prevalent within pathetic psyche

rather fifty plus shades of gray
egregiously, demonically, catastrophically
blasting aching dormant sentimentality
good times with mine
then adoring little girls
sentimentality mythologized
instantaneously vaporized
i.e. hotmail kamikaze outlaws
indistinguishable from in laws
deep seated bombardiers

housed deeply within
subterranean nooks and crannies
loosed blade runners

ache'n throb exhausts me
frenzied furious fitbits,
while archenemies incessantly lob

senselessly, shamelessly, spectacularly

incinerating insight into bajillion little pieces
also vaporizing sanity
into smithereens
futile writing relief,
a weathered vane effort
undermined attempts
to accrue spiritual succor
analogous to volcanic bombs

forlorn hope for salvation nil!
Kiss me when the sun sleeps
when the blazing sun doth rise,
hold my trepid skin timorous
with a requited reassurance
we’ve not been broken
of soulmate incarnate

Nirvana’s desaturated shade, awaits
soft pink and warming gray, above
behind a burning turmeric glow
under an apocalyptic sky
brawn banished, lips silenced
after every word is spoken
sanctioned skeletal forms
melded are two mortalities
fusing into one metaphor
birth of man, woman, death infinite’s
earth, wind, fire, water embossed
no diener for dystopia
only death lives in destruction
crimson deserts recreated
ashen corpse servant
no hand his bones shall fall
sealed is our eternal love
our homeland a morgue
ossified cartilage caresses
immortalization in
pulverized sand dunes
touched by the flurries
of vaporized gold dust clusters
opportune eyes fell upon
excavating earth organs ripped open
evil befell the resilient relentless
by all that glittered gold
golden buried stones
by the arid drones
our existence erased
no genogram depiction,
not relevant to treatment
ashen of undying souls
are there more lives,
…what do you think?
In the flowing darkness of the delirious night
I saw once my being sink with my essence escaping,
get dissipated in dissociative domain of ethereal ether
where I heard the sound of the distant bells toll faintly,
masking the music of my life’s violin fading away
in stalled time’s deadly depth of smothering silence.
That night I felt my frail body paranormally possessed,
the pounding heart pushing blood to the brain in a rush.
While with the swinging sense I floated in the thin air,
the vaporized eyes strained in vain to clear the vision
as they looked vacantly held in the helm of hallucination,
shaping the engulfing ominous silhouette of collapsed space.
That’s when I saw a pale figure appear as if frozen
in the mist outside the window open on the seraphic sky.
As the gloomy clouds cleared I saw in the moonshine
the smiling face of my mother who I’d lost decades ago.
She came to take me with her, but before I could say ‘wait’
I crossed the boundary between self and spell to recoup me.
I’ve been empowered to inform you that never again
Will I allow you to light the flame of rage or ridicule within
The walls of my very being.
Never more will you pierce the core
Of who I am and anything I’m seeing.
You are hereby vaporized before my eyes
Into the nothingness of forgetfulness
Which is less than having ever
Lived and breathed at all.
You are smaller than the memory of
Earth’s first turning like a blue-green ball.
Leave me now, you of such baseless insignificance
And return to the pitiful depths
Of your own self-centered, concentric view of who
You think you are and have always chosen to be:
A god among men, legend above legends
Living far beyond the realm of reality.
I see you now for what you really are…smoke
Rising into the night sky
Disappearing toward the stars…
Whose molecules and atoms are so minutely scattered
That collecting them would take infinite light years
To discover how little you mattered.
My only prayer for you is pity
Which is all I have left to give.
Farewell, your myth having been dispelled to the gates of hell
(If such a place exists for those few,)
Whose life was wasted on ignoring, degrading and attempting to destroy
The unquenchable and indistinguishable
Beauty, love and unbounded good graces of humanity,
Like you.
Waiting for the sun to rise;
I sat on top of a hill.
Searching for the light in the skies;
My heart was pumping still.
I felt lonely, looking at the horizon;
Like the only survivor on a deserted island.
I heard wind breaking the scary silence;
Like breaking sounds coming from a broken violin.
The sky started shifting from black,
to light orange and pink.
The light started coming back;
Yet, I saw darkness every time I blinked.
Soon, the sun peeked;
Light emerged and touched my eyes.
Clouds sneaked;
All hope in my heart vaporized.
Strong wind and heavy rain;
Made my struggle in mud.
Heavy breaths and strong pain;
Ran through the hills like floods.
I regret the day I waited for the sun;
For I forgotten the storm.
I will never run;
Fore the hills turn again warm.
