Heavenly Father of Righteousness

Heavenly Father of righteousness
the long path I lay in dreadful darkness
may tomorrow be inundated by light,
not darkened by rain-swollen clouds;
I seek serenity, not another tempest.

Heavenly Father of righteousness,
why won't a proud man ask for forgiveness,
for having inflicted pain on their children
and not expunged the evil acts of a villain?

Lord, I've known many days of anger
and turning hostile I refused to be kind
to an uncaring dad flinging discipline,
not the affection that a son needed;
and not ever loving him as a father,
I didn't look forward to being sane.

I didn't live the life of a normal kid and suffered
not have had the support that built confidence,
that gave a fragile kid the necessary guidance;
not even once I was encouraged for my effort,
if I failed he laughed at me and scolded me;
mom watched me and looked at him with fright,
but her hug gave me the needed solace
protecting me in any way she possibly could.

Heavenly Father of righteousness,
lift this veil of unpardonable grudge
off my grieving face, let me erase the image
of surly and unbearable days if a childhood
that left scars on the youngest soul in distress;
And I grew up following intuition avoiding being slashed
by a sword not flinging curses, but remaining kind
after being torn apart by hostility and unfairness.

Terror Beneath the Bruised Twilight

Beneath the bruised twilight, forsaken graves gape wide,
Splintered crosses leer like phantoms that bide.
Brambles coil and clutch with thorns sharp as dread,
Weeds mutter curses for the restless and dead.
A skeletal steeple claws the plague-stricken sky,
Hollow winds shriek through windows where lost souls still cry.
Rusty gates slam behind, locking shadows within,
Power lines moan warnings of unpardonable sin.
Ghastly shapes swirl, faces twisted with pain,
Grasping cold gravestones, chanting dark refrain.
Silence crushes breath, as if the world mourns its doom,
In this eldritch graveyard, pure terror finds room.

Pardoning unpardonable

Climbing down from high moral ground,
From cool claim all his term around,
Biden pardons his son
From all the evil done,
Yet, scarce is he alone
To lick licentious bone,
Which way’s world’s conscience keeper bound?

Is pardon altruistic grace?
It veils an arbitrary face.
More than human glory,
It bears poor history,
And disburses more dirt
Than mends a moral hurt,
Nor is a case of forgiveness.

Poet’s note: The intent of the founding fathers of the country was not to pardon family members or close supporters, or even self, as Trump might do in future. Bill Clinton pardoned his half-brother on the day he left office. Jimmy Carter granted amnesty to draft-dodgers on the first day in office. Gerald Ford pardoned his former boss Richard Nixon for official misconduct. Trump in his first term pardoned his son-in-law’s father, shortly after losing his bid for re-election. But the list is long. Says a commentator, this pardon is not for his son alone. The Big Guy is protecting himself from Kash Patel, newly selected FBI Chief under Trump.

The Cruel- Beautiful World

I am here
In a different time and place
In which tears of joy of one
Unfolds the tears of discrimination of another
Such a cruel and beautiful place
This world can be
Such happiness and melancholy
It can cause
To trade the laughter of a hundreds
With the wretchedness of one
Is such an unpardonable sin
Where love is such a misguided emotion
And jokes just become an exotic offence
And people no longer go by the principle of respect
Where habits and manners become the past tense of an old lifetime
Where everyone says such things as
“No one loves you”
Where every low- life disrespects an ordinary
Where people who cry and weep
Are the people that speak of fact?
And people that are strong and rarely do they weep
Are the bad?
Nonsense after Nonsense
Sanity Losing Sanity
World decreasing in faith
Word becomes worthless
And I sit here
And I am to blamed
Of things that do not cause any shame
I am here, sitting and receiving offences
Of people who their duty is to love? To care?
Such an ironic place this world has become
Such a spell of loathing is cast upon us
And we, who fight are in this spell
To be condemned

Leaving heavenly throne to reach-out mankind, the Messiah bore the status of condescension: His birth in the Bethlehem manger brought to Earth’s calendar a divine milestone, while glorious angelic choir and awed shepherds welcomed His babyhood.

Falsely accused with blasphemy unpardonable, betrayed by intimate companions, indicted to pay sins’ penalty, Jesus bore the cross to Calvary, giving up the ghost to reconcile sinners to the holy Creator: freeing those who trust Him from iniquities’ condemnation, assuring them heaven’s security, and granting peace so blissful.

about when he decides to sit
on a bank blow his on brains

in war the pope the choir
singing hymns loudly as the
arch bishop walks in everyone
rushing to kiss his hand
congratulating the judge

shot gun is placed ever so calmly
in his mouth family community

The Excruciating Crucifixion

He was the Lamb that had to be slaughtered
during the Passover and without Calvary, there wouldn't have been any salvation;
nothing would have forgiven our unpardonable sin!
Christ, as Isaiah prophesied, came when Jerusalem
was in dire need of a king who promised freedom!
The Romans were the conquerors with that mighty sword,
but only the defiant Barabbas waged war against Caesar with many a rebellion!

Many say that we shouldn't venerate the cross which Jesus died upon,
but without the presence of that cross, we couldn't have been saved;
Jesus' blood gushed from it, to stain the rocks below, and wash all inequities away...
and the weeping and wailing of His mother Mary deepened when Christ expired,
as the earthquake jolted Jerusalem's streets and Temple,
to even make the envious and skeptical Priests tremble,
the radiant sun became invisible as darkness covered all;
and was it a coincidence or the undeniable fact that God Himself showed us His mercy?

We haven't carried the heavy wooden cross through Jerusalem and being whipped,
and laughed at; and we haven't seen those women cry for the Christ whom they heard speak;
and we haven't felt the agony of the most atrocious hour that He endured for us all!
An impostor wouldn't have suffered and died to become the Redeemer they awaited,
a liar wouldn't have glorified His Father and preached a Gospel that offered much hope;
History was changed at Golgotha, and human kindness nurturing divine love triumphed!
Lord Jesus, many heard you speak on the Mountain and beheld what we could not!
Lord Jesus, Andrew and John stood by you and comforted Your Mother with their tears!

As you promised the good thief...Lord, remember us, too when we testify in Your favor
or die for Your sake! Paradise awaits us, and all who believe in goodness, not evil;
the excruciating crucifixion was predestined, not being staged by Man who hated love,
it had to happen in order for Humanity to reconcile with their forsaken God of Israel!
We can never be worthy for Your sacrifice, unless we become the messengers of true faith...
to uphold truth and dignify love as you often did in words and deeds!
If we forget Your passion, nothing can magnify the purpose of Your death;
and without a shepherd, this flock will aimlessly roam among rocks and weeds!
