I love a good movie, I honestly do
I’d watch one alone and I’d watch one with you
Adventure or Western, perhaps a film noir,
A comedy suited to my Ma and Pa

I like a good Thriller, a detective drama
A tale of vendetta, of justice or Khama
I do enjoy Horror, I rather like gruesome
And stories of outlaws or some wayward twosome

And thrill me with gunfights, a street brawl or two
A hideous death for the bad guy will do
I do love a story, exciting or fun
Not just an excuse for firing a gun

Okay, I confess that I like those films too
In which gangsters shoot up a hullabaloo
But the plot is the crux, it’s what makes my mind smile
You can’t just have guns going off all the while

It’s pouring outside and pretty damned cold
A night in with Netflix has gotten me sold
So let’s watch a movie; forget going out
Let’s sit down and see what ‘John Wicks’ is about

                                     *

Well, she’s gone to bed and I’m sat on my tod
Most of the cast are conversing with God
I have to confess that this shoot-em-up rave
Is gonna go down… as a personal fave!

Assorted Quotients

Moments are always twosome aisle
A pearl of tear and a curl of smile
He rode on the former
She tapped the latter
The two became a river for a while
And set out many a wonderful mile

Moments are mostly very fragile
Testifies the ancient Blue Nile
Warmth at the pillow
Breaks up in a billow
What remains is reduced to guile
Books sans stories in growing pile

Moments are vibrant mostly awhile
When we stay not filled with bile
There in a dancing spree
Under the white oak tree
Surrounded by streams you and I
Writing moon in a pitch-dark sky

You are beautiful in the duality moments
Thorns and flowers in various quotients

Dangling hair, girls twirl, drum majors,
Baseball turned cap boys, screenagers,
Gum chew boys, girls curls, tweenagers,
Just teenagers, just teenagers.

Pixie sticks tootsie rolls swallows,
Gummy bears m & m's follows,
Reeses cups hershey bars hollows,
Tidbits mellows, tidbits mellows.

Marshmallow pillow stuffing jams,
Strawberries dribble squishing rams,
Peach clings and lemon rings swim crams,
Dollops mouth slams dollops mouth slams.

Dressed up, lollipop, a cutesome,
Suit, tie, flowers guy, a twosome,
Hoodies, both moody, don't getsome,
Great into some, great into some.

In love, man or woman

___________________________________
To the twosome that falls in love, who and why and when hardly matters. But those of us watching from the sidelines, it may--who falls in love first, who devotes more time to love, how often, contentment, depth of love, and what not. So here goes.
_____________________________

Who devotes more time for love?
A woman’s lost in thoughts of him--
Her waking time and that in dream,
She scores fifty-four, he, forty-four,
Her love stems from deeper core.

Who falls in love first, how soon?
Man takes a month after first meet,
Woman takes twice longer to it.
Man decides in hurry
And that’s the real worry.

Who acknowledges love first?
Hear too the same story repeats,
Man in hurry always her beats.
She takes time to confirm love
And never once makes first move.

Falling in love, how often?
Men seem to love more than once
And in love here and there runs,
She that loves one alone
Never is too far gone.

Content in love, who scores?
Here too he hurries, gets fulfilled first,
A balloon, he soon gets burst
And never content still
Whilst she can truly chill.

Who dives deep in love?
It’s she that feels love far ahead
From heart. Man, no farther than head,
On attachment also scores she,
He, no more than possessive be.

a relationship
     magically,
          unexpectedly
               blossoms.
                     acquaintances
                graduate to
           fast friends,
      becoming
two peas in a pod.
     inseparable twosome
          pulled together
               tightly
                    as if
               by magnet.
          seamless alignment
     of perspectives,
interests,
     passions,
          hobbies,
               and sartorial tastes;
                    a transcendent connectedness.
               a bond
          like no other;
     quintessential
kindred spirits.

Premium Member Sun and Sand Minichu

Blinded by shining shards of sunlight
reflecting off sandy summer shores,
give pause to wonder what unworldly sight
hides beneath ocean’s watertight doors.

The Sun, father of the shoreline
instructs his lazy children to light the way
for beach combers and bathers-in-the-brine
who worship the Sun and sand as play.

Burned flesh and scorched, fire-red eyes
accost non-believers shaking their heads,
bemused that the Sun’s brilliance belies
affair extraordinaire with the sand he beds.

The Sun and sand a reflective twosome
combining their charms and beckoning
unsuspecting lovers to a garishly gruesome
show of frivolity and a day of reckoning.

In other words:

Sun and sand, such teasers,
conspire to cruelly tempt and torture tissue –
faux pleasers.

Enthusiasts
promising romantic issue –
nets cast.

Beach waltz,
promise anew –
false

Sun and sand, such teasers,
promising romantic issue –
false

Premium Member The Land Where We Go

The magical bicycle takes me to the land of the elves
Where they teach me the flute, where the dinosaur dwells.
I perch on the seat and wave to animals I would like to meet.
They are eager to see if I will fall off this mystical seat.

I am standing now, with my cape blowing in the wind.
Meeting the day’s breezes, my happiness about to begin.
There are ferns full of faeries, and dwarfs blowing me kisses.
I balance on one foot and have a couple of near misses.

The land where we go is better than my midnight dreams.
The fantasy world of glow is filled with electronic moonbeams.
We are happy in our twosome, this mighty bike and me.
I have to admit that we also dive down low where I jump into the sea.

The melodic sounds of the ocean glide me back to my bike.
Where we go for a longer ride, and I grab up a karaoke mike.
I belt out a song and the elementals cheer like mad, simply go wild.
When you have a magical bike, you become a mystical child.

Premium Member Scorcher- In the Faraway

I walk alongside the seashore crimson,
Reflection of the twilight of sky,
That precedes the raunchy and beamy night,
Moon shines and stars dance around.

Sickle of moon slivers my heart,
Playing hide and seek, discover my soulmate,
Under vastness of expanse and seductive wind,
Cover of colourful leaves, earth amatory.

The twosome go bawdy and carnal,
Holding me in his arms, gets me close,
I feel his breath on my neck,
And his skin next to mine.

Gazing at his face in moonlight,
These moments are special and divine,
Sultry and aphrodisiac, enamoured in love,
As if never to part, till death in unison!!
