Like many comrades and councilors of Moon Knight,
Daredevil, Matt Murdock, was in fight and might, bright;
Reservoir of Herculean power and strength,
He could lift thousands of pounds and punch any length...!

Gymnast! Acrobat! Olympic muscle tissues!
He could suffuse or transfuse perilous issues.
Power, born of self-will experimentation,
Fused in him mercurial mobilization...!

Rat or cat or elephant like sharp hearing sense,
Owls and eagles like radar vision effulgence;
Enabled him antidate his environs clear,
And respond and combat with vehemence severe...!

Lion-like he could fight Captain America
Superman, another puissance replica;
Moon Knight and Daredevil, though, fought a tough battle,
Merged to collaborate with warm tittle-tattle...!!!

My Opinion

She's too skinny. She's too fat.
He's too white. He's too black.

She's too pretty. She's not hot.
He wears stripes. He likes dots.

She's too peppy. She's too sad.
He's too cheerful. He's too mad.

She's too quiet. She's too loud.
He's too humble. He's to proud.

She's too much a lady. She's not enough.
He's too weak. He's too tough.

She's too lenient. He's too strict.
I can't have a conversation without pitching a fit.

It's too old. It's too new.
I want more than one, but I'll hate having two.

It's too original. It's too much the same.
I don't care if you say it's awesome, I say it's lame.

Too young, too old, too short, too tall,
I have standards to uphold, and you'll conform to them all.

Although we don't see eye to eye,
And our opinions are as different as whole wheat and rye,

I won't unfollow, I won't ignore.
I'll shove my opinions through your front door.

I'll shame you in public and criticize your name.
It's not "just a movie". It's not "just a game".

Your misery is my happiness, unless I get what I want,
And I'll get what I want through threats and insults, hatred and taunts.

You will confirm until we agree.
This is all about me, me, me.

Move with the times with cheer that styles,
Yield not the sad when things turn rough.
Play with bold chimes to cast sound smiles,
Live poise most glad in moments tough;
Ascend with grace in dreamy daze,
Charm knows a surge of primal haste;
Intuit deep space beyond mere craze,
Dance that clear urge of lovely taste.
Feel how you feel when pain brings tears,
Instruct your heart with passage bold;
Etch craft that heals to purge all fear,
Stretch precious start as joy takes hold;
Thought and word fund the deed you set,
Apt arc of pun sparks a grand bet.

After years of grad school, I decided to get married,
My parents found a beautiful girl a few years younger than me,
After the arranged wedding, our love life began,
She came to USA from India when she was cute young girl.

Getting adapted to the new environment was tough,
Everything was new, and different, she was lost,
English was as new to her as the new surroundings,
I advised her to watch soap during the day to learn English fast.

To my surprise, within six months, she could communicate in English,
We will go out in the weekends, enjoy the great outdoors in States,
Take pictures in slides and prints, to take it to India when she visits,
Still, she found lonely as she did not find many friends to keep her happy.

I tried to get her in yard work and backyard gardening,
She would happily help when I was around,
Still, she found this boring, the produce was cheaper at stores nearby,

The next excitement I thought would be shopping to keep her happy.
She would go to malls. spend hours looking for outfits
I made sure I appreciated what she chose,
An appreciation she loved more than making Taj Mahal for her,

Sometimes she will spend more than the set limits,
She will say, don’t worry I will pay when the bill comes,
When the bill came, she would say,
You pay; you control all the money.

Life was evolving, she found many friends,
She loved two baby girls and a boy, we were blessed with,
It was an enchanting era to watch the kids grow,
Their birthday parties were full of excitement, I still remember.

In the early days before videos came, we would go to the theaters,
I must remind her at least a day in advance to get ready for the show.
If we must go to a wedding or anniversary,
A week's reminder was barely enough to get her ready.

In the old days, when GPS was not around,
Going to new places used to be adventure many times,
She will be the navigator with road maps,
Hardly knew how to read it properly.

Still, life kept on moving,
She came late and left early to heavenly abodes,
The fun moments we had,
Still lingers in my mind.

She Is No Better Than Me

11/5/22

On a damn lot
It's always blast off
Still out to hit the jackpot

For too long I've gotten nowhere and
I know I am
Still a lonely man
Not all goes to plan
Across an unholy land
Where precious resources are mostly scant
Too many don't understand
Quick to show their hand

Took everything not just a right hook
Rarely was I shook
You've no idea how much time it took
Lives were put
In the sky or brooks
She's constantly judging people by looks
Like a book

She's always shallow
For less people got hung from the gallows

Damn son
She thought she pulled a fast one
Looked back none
But the war I already had won
Because her impact was, like that of a capgun
Now that that's done

Regardless if it ever was good enough
Still I stood up
Always it took much
Otherwise it was easy to remain hooked and stuck
Too often people would bluff
Attempting to look tough
Yet so quickly they were shook up
Before another could wish them good luck

Life comes with set backs
I often wear Jet Black
With good reason less chat
You bet that
In ten flat
She taking a step back

I've been down bad or up good above the sewer
Always pulling off a bunch of maneuvers
She thought I was just a loser
And drug abuser
Believing each and every other rumor
All of it brought me much humor

Truth be told she is no better than me

Never once tried to reach out
Peace out
From the picture she's out

Still it's all the same and a shame
Often playing the blame game

The Dreams

THE DREAMS

Surely, one day

We will have to get to our way

Forgetting the bad past

Hoping for the good future really fast.

Working day and night

Whether under a torch or a sunlight

Keep succeeding, oh my dear,

Keeping the things in the mind very clear.

Your nightmares should scare you

And the will be the one to dare you

But don't forget to think extreme

And feel accomplished after completion of your dream.

Everything gets changed by a positive hope

Every stream has a great scope

Until it's done,

You foolish, don't even think the battle has been won.

Start working hard

Or else become a security guard

You can do everything with your strong will

And soon the results will make you thrill.

Do the hard work now

So that you aren't embarrassed and have to bow

Try not quit

Just accept a bit.

Fix your hard goals

If you want to enjoy and eat a rice bowl

Take it up as a mission

Only one thing in your vision.

How fast goes away the time,

Now stop playing with the slime

Be brave but do not cry

Answer everyone who asks you why.

This is a very tough fight

But work hard if you want to be in the spotlight

So, try and give a start

Hope you all will become smart.

You should have its fear

You could even get your eyes filled with tear

Everything is very precious

And good future us auspicious.

The two-feet gauge antiquated railway
climbs up the precipitous hilly gradient,
negotiates gallantly the steep gorge slope
of the Himalayan tough terrain ancient.

The miniature coaches so very elegant
of the old Darjeeling Himalayan Railway,
coil around the meandering lengthy loops,
for 14 decades steam engines slog in gay.

Gracefully creeping just like a caterpillar,
through dense mist reaches sleepy Ghum,
the highest Indian railway station en route,
from where down-slope journey resumes.

The speed is nearly like that of crawling snail,
the hold of the bike riders’ hands I could gain,
wait to get the grand view of the Kanchenjunga,
as patiently I travel thrilled in the tiny toy train.

Hold On

I was a novice in that act
My mind would not say the fact
I keep pushing through being smart
Oh playing along may not impart
My heart dwell in his love and kiss
Lips got hurt; with time, his lips I miss
As much as I love him, I hate his play
He should know but won't allow delay
At 23, no one believes it is my first
How softly blood puddings burst
In my poetry- an art inking of trust
Which I feed on to never go rust
Came to be a tough but a fit world
When the wind reversely turn; vices whirled
I know you are hot and on fire
Yet you deny the cross of just we desire
For age and time set off the scale of preference
Hiding your tears fighting frankly to make difference
How I believe it wasn't your fault
Crazy though you couldn't gaze my eyes assault
Many years in the blue, I feel fulfilled
Throughout the highway, alone was I drilled
While you keep up fighting being skilled
To make life a worthwhile but I remained stilled
Finally, you reason the denial to be wrong
What if I have not been really strong?
Forgetting my career to be continue...
With you, I don't want any interview
Our son I carried is now by you wanted
Can you please imagine how I was taunted.

I feel God's presence and experience His love no matter how
A single touch of His hand is more than enough
I read God's word so I can really grow
God teaches values and guides thru life and that's so
He's always there for me when feeling sad and low
All I have to do is to call upon His Holy name that's all I know
Sometimes tribulations and problems seem to multiply and grow
But I know God will just hold me all the way through.

A single touch of His hand is more than enough
So I fasten my eyes on the Lord as I go
Feeling in my heart His divine love and that's so
Life can be sweet and life at times can be sad and bad
You know that life sucks sometimes and that people run mad
Pain pierces your heart and love can be tough
But the Word of God tells the truth and kicks Satan out
Mistakes are made and life's key just turns rough
I read God's Word so I can really grow
And in my heart I feel God's love and that's truly so!

A shell explodes out of the barrel
Of misfortune's gun with a deafening bang.
Unexpectedly pink slipped as he was
    Slowly making his way up the corporate ladder;

To use the demotic vernacular, "Laid off."
   Poor fellow. He never saw his hard luck coming;
          Confronted with a disconcerting reality,
It has rendered him a melancholy shell of a man.

    Poof! His dream job vanishes at one fell swoop;
Outsourced overseas. In his wistful eyes,
Utter dejection. His reversal of fortune, cruel.
He doesn't quite know what to do with himself.

It's a tough pill to swallow; he's struggling
To adjust to his grim circumstances.
Sudden joblessness has taken a toll on him.
His saturnine feelings are tough to conceal.

His indigo-hued mood clearly shows on his face.
He's teetering on the precipice of depression
And withdrawn from friends and acquaintances.
A shroud of uncertainty now hovers over him.

His future couldn't look more gloomy.
                     With his stellar career gone
And mental health dangling on tenterhooks,
Where does he go from here?
