It is on this day that I must admire
Thinking back to the days when your “tough love” seemed to never tire
And the thought of a shoe still sends chills up and down my spine
Oh wonderful woman, this mother of mine
With footwear in hand and compelling suggestions to see your way
It is not difficult to understand the knowledge of life that I have today
But to only remember the fear of these two
One, the Good Lord Almighty and the other “the shoe”
Remembering well all of the stories I told
Then fearfully watching your wrath unfold
The punishment of “the shoe” was well deserved
And how your abundant love was well reserved
Remembering all of our “one-sided discussions”
Some resulting at the cost of a mild concussion
Dear mother, it is with confidence I can say
The love of my mother I would never change in any way
My mother dearest filled with love galore
It is the love you have for all I do adore
For it is the Fear of God and the Love of The Lord I remember most
And on this day it is my dearest mother I do boast
Form:
I’m home now.
I’ve found a place of safety,
Of love, and sublime peacefulness.
I’m home now.
The journey was tough,
The terrain rough and mountains steep.
I climbed steadily,
Sometimes stumbled and fell -
Hurtling, slipping, losing my footing.
At times I lost my grip,
Felt it slip, dropped the ball -
Hurting, grieving, gnawing pain consuming me.
Life all began in innocence
And became tainted by experience.
Forgetting the beginning; the source from whence I came.
Perhaps life is about remembering
What we already knew before we are born.
Our memory wiped we’re thrown into a maze.
We stumble blindly, tempted by materialism.
Educated to make a living, yet not taught how to live.
To take, but never how to give.
Some never make it home.
Destroyed by consumerism, greed and avarice:
Always craving more, hungry for success.
Pause - in this moment -
feel the rise and fall of breath.
Appreciate just being, never fearing death
For it is just like passing
Through a veil, the turning of a page,
Like taking off a tight shoe -
And all that’s left is the essence of you,
Soul flying free, chrysalis shed,
And butterfly once more.
I’m home now
Cocooned in safety and peacefulness.
Love is all there is, and all that’s meant to be.
I’m home now.

What’s up! FIFA world cup! Most exciting game,
always claiming international fame.
Top players wining legendary name.
Kick the ball, kick- kick: Snaps taken click-click.
Some trying to play trick, some on hatrick.
Cheerful spectators on fun and frolic.
Expert players playing terrible tough.
Extreme tension, temperament rough.
Can’t assess whether effort is less or enough.
Players and spectators both in worry.
What to come up at the end of story?
Playing in world cup demands glory.
Red or yellow card: Penalty, Foul or Corner.
Despair of opponent or rejoice of supporter.
Victory or defeat does not really matter.

'STRAND PICK G' Contest by Brian Strand
A hardened and disciplined man drove to the grocery store lost in thought,
with setting of sun, the long day's work almost found it's end.
Hoisting his daughter to shoulder, he walked from the parking lot,
and barely noticed her hair smelled of shampoo and pool chlorine blend.
He searched for fresh loaf of bread, and pound of peaches,
careful to tally up each purchase with well-honed skill.
With family's dinner waiting, and worn wallet short on wages,
thinking, that tank of gas will have to wait, and hoped it will.
Looking up from the myriad of baby food jars in the next aisle,
slowly he became aware, as a dense fog clears on a whim.
Now noticed a woman with mouth played in a strange smile,
her instinctive gaze fixed on something behind him.
He turned to see what elicited her quizzical beam,
and his heart melted at the sight in the shopping cart.
A straw haired helper, fast asleep, slumped over in a girl's charmed dream,
her little head now resting against his arm.
The day's worries quickly fled, tough exterior, now stripped senseless,
life's hard lesson and true measure of a man's love now shown.
Left wondering how a resting child could leave one so defenseless,
and that, which a man holds important..,could be so wrong.
Epilogue
I live the rest of my days wiser and more carefree.
For my darling little one, it wasn't I that carried you,
but you that carried me.
If you have experienced a tough break-up like a divorce, please take care and be gentle with yourself. You need time to process your emotions and you definitely need time to grieve.
Even if the end of a relationship is good for us in the long run, we still have feelings to work through. Don't let anyone rush your process. Blessings and hugs.
You are entering a new chapter

You can put the burden down
You can rest your weary heart
You can take time to walk through memories
To process your emotions and your grief's part
It is over now (and you need space)
That timeline is complete
You are entering a new chapter
Your life path is revealing its secrets
For we can't hold on to the Darkness
Those demons that try to tear us down
Whether loved ones or situations
We have to move on and straighten our crowns
It is not for others to push you
It is no one's journey but your own
Go within and find your own peace
Embrace your strength alone
For the memories that we carry
Are best kept sweet and pure
Releasing the hurt and pain
Is better for our ascension tour
No more baggage or grim cages
We can be Light and Love and Freedom
For every single Soul deserves
A blessed Life filled with Meaning

in desolation
when despair overwhelms mind
talk with lovely friends
If no friend at all
hear hot jokes songs dance with smile
to gain again rhythm
If mind's seen stubborn
control with the strength of heart
though it's very tough
It’s a privilege to come before Heavens King.
He’s enthroned on high where Angels sing.
Those gone on before us, the truth they now know.
The answers to the question. Where do the bad go?
Open my eyes Lord Jesus so your truths I can see.
I desire to know what you have destined me to be.
Whatever you have planned Lord, I am willing to do.
If I should trust anyone, it should only be you.
When I look at the wonders made from your hands.
I realize it’s foolish trusting a woman or a man.
Seeking You in solitude your presence I feel.
Your glory overwhelms me, so sweet and it's real.
No drug, alcohol or sex, beats moments like this.
Being in your presence, can be described only as bliss!
I’m hooked and love you Father, just can’t get enough.
At your feet I run to, whenever times get tough.
I want to share this with my children and my grands!.
Trust God, read His word and you will understand.
Tell ya something. I faced it I stood up to it. Said you do your thing.
Dr in Longview say you are walking dead. He's a heart surgeon
I give you 25 percent chance
Hell I don't even know how your standing here
I can't do this surgery
You need a friend of mine and I'll talk with him go from there.
Next day he talked with my surgeon, he made a video to learn from it
I was polite to everyone.
I read everything I could on this heart work from the moment you wake up what to expect
I say you know something funny. I'm here cause I don't give a care one way or the other. If I die I. Won't even know I'm dead so what's the big deal
I have one 100 percent trust in you and your people I know I'm ok with it.
He shook my hand thanks man.
Rode an ambulance to Tacoma met the Dr James.
Soon as I got there someone took my DVD ran away and Doc. James was leaning over asking me questions. How it feel to be dead. A heart attack that has lasted 16 hours k
He was kind. I don't remember after that .
Woke up something was sticking out my face my freaked for a moment and before my hand reacted my brain says stop that is your tube.
I was shackled any way
But my brain started explaining things each time
And I was calm from that moment on. Still had one hundred percent faith in Dr an his folks .
I told the doci trusted in him
I never for one moment have doubt in the situation
I put it in my head to be respectful to him and his staff he's the man.
Everything I read. He did it himself to . I was respectful.
I was polite cause I knew they deserved nothing less than my total appreciation and respect
The took care of Jinjin. What more can I say or even need to say....need said.
They went above and beyond
One than one said I was one
One tough ol man
I kicked the odds a$$ .
These people saved my life.
No doubt.
Beat Oklahomas four years
.long enough to find the one person that has a chance to save me. He was going on vacation dig that.
Hats off Dr. James
I am grateful. You treated me like I was a personal friend to you
A loyal gist host itself into the cage of loneliness,
Beeping through the hole of truth as a reference...
An advice of heaven on Earth would come, it hopes¿
Holding to the deep coiled inner voice of belief
But getting better seems tough for the shared drive is strafe¡
Where luck roams in death's crescent,
Forlorn to the world pleasing torture...
Time to shine in truth, here or gone?
Youths are yet strong enough undone.
Lies are once frankly shun!
It's now a delightful delivery dating fun...
A dislocated burden placed on wealth,
Cripples into Patriots' chests in order
To win struggles of days ahead at ease,
And overtake consistent affluence in a bit*
Enlivening illusions of breakthrough not born!
Yahweh is interestingly patient in time,
To serve each turn at worth to its prime.
Save each; save all in your name
Whose power can't stand the game
All swapped for the sake of fame
To bury the dead light rejecting shame
Once upon a time, there lived a tree,
Whose fruits feed millions to comfort
And under its shade, all enjoys cool breeze
But a while after the summer had gone,
A stranger cut down the tree,
No one could challenge the stranger
For his hands are heavy in the elders' own.
Billions made are for the quorum in the land,
With blunt ears open yet closed to others voice!
Little did care sparks its light on others
Provided that all is well with their own merry lives...
See love on tongues; see despairs in acts
Truly no one knows by eyes, workable facts
Until chosen to rep peace impacts
To know how words quality detracts
Spiders well patterned web stretches out each minutes
In its elastic limitless spiritual boundary
Awaiting Victims' cry in their raging plights
Without hesitation for freedom's lock
Until wonder undo the night before dawn
Then will Willing manifestation cease to gear
Oh divine hands, nature's atmospheric condition is Thou
Grace Innocent Victims' plights freedom and ache those true ones in their merry living
Days are of evil, go before us dear Father
Without You, we may be consumed in bother
Growing wings of no regulatory feather
Traveling above into the thin air father
When I am set on by grace
Human strength certainly, not my pace
Even my reasoning will have no trace
To light nights in ambush to deface
Hallelujah!
Love has been narrated in novels ,
set to music in songs and expressed in poems with various rhymes:
remembering its glories and lamenting its tragedies;
but this is the ode I've written for those true life's true heroes,
not about someone I've loved and lost,
to cherish the miracle of every breath!
And many have laid down their lives,
so that I can live free and remember the battles they fiercely fought;
and who wouldn't shout, in gratefulness, to the blazing skies?
Brave ones resting in your decorated graves,
God won't forget you when another rainbow reflects
all the beautiful colors of your flags waving, at sun-down,
over the damp grass where the little daises are blooming;
and I have brought the same flowers
that you liked to give to your darlings:
to thank you for your bravery on the incendiary fields...
thinking less of you and more of your countrymen!
Dauntless ones, you gave up your precious lives
and gone to foreign lands to be vigilant and tough,
to allow your children to live their dream
in the freest land that Humankind has ever known;
and how many envy what they hold in their palms?
They are as precious as glaring diamonds,
and as beautiful as the brilliantly rising dawn;
and be sure that they will defend their freedom at any cost...
and fight for it by marching with grace and esteem!
And how can an inspirited poet narrate all the great and sad events...
if not through the sincere voice of his heart-felt verses?
I will not invoke a muse, but a living God to inspire me;
and I won't add or take anything away for the sake of honesty!
Take heart, sorrowful writer and make the words flow with spontaneity;
honor those true life's heroes with your infallible intellect:
to eternally preserve their tenacious and noble memory...
when others repress it and lay it to an unguarded rest!
