Take me back to yesterday's summer night
Walking on the beach,
Sand between our toes
Hair blowing in the breeze.
When ripples in the sea
slowly cleansed the sand,
Tickling our toes,
Washing away our footsteps.
On the edge where ocean meets land,
Shoulder to shoulder we sat,
Listening to calm splashing waves,
Our tanned skin soaking wet.
As skies twinkled in the horizon,
reflecting against the rushing tide.
It seemed as they have arrived
to be placed inside your eyes.
Gazing at the sun sink into the sea,
Fireflies flickered as embers kept us warm.
Affectionately we embraced nature's silence
with only the sound of our heartbeats.
Too frail are these feet now to stroll along those shores,
but you remain harboured within my heart.
Together we've seen many waves kiss dry sands,
But unlike unfaithful tides,you still hydrate my soul.
We yearn to end it that way,
to be taken back to yesterday's summer night,
but are content building sandcastles,
along current coastlines.

I can't get no Halloween candy.

Well I'm walking door to door.
And a man comes out to greet me.
But he's telling me there's no more.
So he says he likes my outfit.
What he really means is "beat it!".

I can't get no trick-or-treat candy.

So I'm dressed up like a zombie.
Saying "trick or treat" and "thankyou ma'am".
Still my pillow case is empty.
It took forever to put on this get-up;
Spent two hours just on make-up.

Just trying to make some scores,
But the lady says come back early next year.
I'd be better off just bummin' beer.

They say everything happens for a reason,
People come into your life at the exact moment you need them, some stay for ever, some for a while , some even more briefly.
It doesn't matter how long they stay everyone of them make an impact in some significant way.
Maybe they helped you get strong for a situation or move on from one.
Maybe they shared a big life experience or played a big role in a small one.
It could of just been that smile that you needed as they walked past you on the street.
Either way when they turn up it always happens for a reason .
When they go it can feel really sad like someone has died, or when they are ready to go sometimes you don't want them to so you hold on to them not willing for them to go.
Confusing your feelings of gratitude and love for something bigger.
Until suddenly one day you realise they might be there in body but there soul left long before.
That's when it goes from love to dependency. It's not that they don't love you it's just that their soul has stayed too long, as it more than likely was meant to be somewhere else. But you loved them and didn't want them to go and somehow urged them to stay.
You will know when that time comes, when that spark isn't sparking, when there's no more talking, or making plans together for the future.
When you wake up in the morning no kiss or cuddle and your days are spent seperate not together like in the beginning.
When togetherness is sitting in silence both minds wandering thinking of different things. No "guess what's" or talks of everything that happened in the day.
Sadly eventually leading into "You didn't tell me that", or "Your invited by the way".
So when that soul and yours don't connect anymore it's time to say thankyou and let that soul go on its way.
Because remember there are no coincidences in life, they were in your life when you needed them to be.
So let them free, You both have new things awaiting for you... that will happen exactly when and where and with who it's ment to be with.
Basically everything works out in the end and it always "happens for a reason".
carrot muffins ready steady
eardrums cleaned of sore sounds
hymn going higher than flutes
crows listen rapt mute
Divinity appears in rain sheets on
roof, darkness lifts from the kloof
carrot muffins tray not hot
eating dreams before our time
making silly rhymes looking for dimes
hunger sensations dissolve into space
buttery carrot muffins ready steady
Divinity slides off roof, woof-woof
carrot muffins ready steady spicy
tribe garbles stories of past glories
polly put kettle on before muffins cold
tray is so g_y to begin day bold
carrot muffins not to be sold
sing the hymn before crows fly
carrot muffins tray not a hot bot
tea ready steady, scoff the muffins
remember to say thankyou to Divinity
opening front door to dance the floor
listening to high hymn with crows
singing for carrot muffin crumbs to bring
muffins ready steady carrots are good
tray not hot, my lovely rabbit or robot !

Metamorphic pulsations
Iridescent glow
Spiritual guides
Ushering departed souls
Rippling contractions
From cocoon-like womb
Bringing forth new breath
Replenishing blown out candles
Eyes scrunched
Painful cry
Drowned out by the rustling
One thousand butterflies taking flight

Snowflake-like beings
Spreading their light
Within the night
Eternity is born
A baby raises his tiny fists

This was the day I should have died...
But God had me under his watchful eye.
As the darkness flooded my mind with fear...
If only I could breathe, I wish my Mum was here.
Wanting to stand on my feet, so I could catch my breath...
But the waves kept coming, all it wanted was death.
My thoughts were saying " Oh dear! This is it!"...
When two arms lifted me out of this bottomless pit.
As oxygen filled my lungs with such releif...
He took me to my sister waiting on the beach.
This anonymous angel left as quick as he came...
I never saw his face, I never got his name.
There are so many thing's I would say to this man...
You saved my life! Thankyou! I would shake his hand.
All these years on and I can honestly say...
If if weren't for this Angel I wouldn't be here today.

I am very busy during this month of Christmas, Yet i had to find the time to
