Shinar, some know as Mesopotamia, others as Assyria,
near the Euphrates River, a midday sun cast doubts of
a weakened shade made idle by the pause of its agile
host, named Nimrod, son of Cush, grandson of Ham,
and Noah's great-grandson. No sign of depletion, hence
the shade returns to motion.
Nimrod is the soul ruler of the land of Shinar, host to
several ancient cities, one was called, Babel. Scripturally,
Nimrod was said to be a great hunter, and that would be
the length of it. Jewish and Christian texts are not able
to agree whereupon Nimrod's entry into the historical
record books other than what has been escribed in the
scriptures of the Talmud and the Bible, albeit, elements of
foreign records have cluttered historical accountabilities
and further strengthened pre-existing ambiguities, thusly,
a genre of conjectures misleads, and misinterpretations,
have made authenticity and accuracy to remain divided.
There are numerous variances, such as those accounts
between Jewish and Islamic customs or beliefs from
generation to generation, concerning Nimrod's and of
Abraham's first encounter, from that of a subliminal
meeting of minds, to the simplicity of a gnat that had
overwhelmed the mighty forces of Nimrod's army by
entry into his brain's that affected his abilities.
The accounts of Josephus concerning King Amraphel
whom Abraham did battle in Genesis, was Nimrod. The
Tower of Babel was built by the people whom King
Amraphel, being Nimrod, had ruled, and by that being
such, gave rise to Nimrod ordering the building of the
Tower in Babel. The Christian Bible does naught mention
that other than he, Nimrod, was a great hunter. I
believe it would have stabilize Josephus' claims.

He said he had to do it; our currency was a time bomb.
The debt had reached three times G.N.P.
A worthless dollar in store, and poverty.
“Our debt has grown beyond what dollars can bear,
There's a limit to what the billionaires share.
The printing press runs, but the backstop grows thin:
If we don't stop spending, the dollar caves in.”
But the President was hanged, and a new one elected
Everyone could breathe easy now, welfare was protected.
Back to Talmud, back to McDonalds, back to the slums
But disaster just delayed, and the grim reaper comes.
The grim reaper comes....
Nachman was a revered Sage
The greatest of his age
One day he came to his stand
Armless! What had happened?

Judah* was a cocksure stallion

Judah descended into a nightmare of selfishness, disgraced
temporarily with Reuben he was replaced
but Judah sincerely repented; he did not try to ‘save face’
When Tamar** exposed him for a liar and cheat
Judah did not hide from it, proclaiming instead.
“She is right – and more righteous than me”…
Reviewing the ‘experiments’ of my college days

*Once again, this is Judah/Yehuda of the Old Testament, Jacob
and Leah's fourth son -- NOT Judas Iscariot of the New Testament.
**Tamar, the widowed wife of Judah's first two sons, had been pro-
mised Judah's third son. But Judah reneged. So, she dressed herself
as a prostitute, in order to lure Judah/Yehuda to have sex with her
in exchange for some valuables. When she became pregnant, she
took Judah to court, displayed his valuables, thereby exposing
him. That's when Judah cried "She is more righteous than me!"
Judah's true repentance had begun... and he became the leader of
his brothers once again.

The speaker is Death:
There was a merchant in Baghdad who sent his servant to market to buy provisions and in a little while the servant came back, white and trembling, and said, "Master, just now when I was in the market-place I was jostled by a woman in the crowd and when I turned I saw Death had jostled me. She looked at me and made a threatening gesture; now, lend me your horse, and I will ride away from this city and avoid my fate. I will go to Samarra and there Death will not find me". The merchant lent him his horse, and the servant mounted it, and he dug his spurs in its flanks and as fast as the horse could gallop he went. Then the merchant went down to the market-place and he saw me standing in the crowd and he came to me and said, "Why did you make a threatening gesture to my servant when you saw him this morning?" "That was not a threatening gesture," I said, "It was only a state of surprise. I was astonished to see him in Baghdad, for I had an appointment with him tonight in Samarra".
