For those whom the Pandemic spared
a real revolution's in the air
From remote work demands
come offices on the beach in the sand
From Teacher's Unions' selfish lies
watch a new improved school system arise
From a shortage of service employees
come whopping increases in their salaries
Politicians' autocratic lockdown response
heralds a massive civil disobedience renaissance
And the government's over-generous checks
prompt folks their life's priorities to inspect
So, what at first seemed an absolute disaster
advances the future ever faster
“Don’t water your lawn!”
They told me.
There’s a shortage of water and
we need to conserve.
Yet, I saw fire hydrants open
and water flowing like a spring.
Kids skipping and dancing
getting wet and cool.
“Don’t water your lawn!”
It came again on the news.
Driving down the street
I saw pretty gardens
in the median, with
underground sprinkling systems.
Setting off mist in the air,
drifting like clouds.
Yet, my lawn is dry,
and cries for water as it
fights against dying thirst.
Who made the rules?
As I drove, I saw people toasting
with glasses of lemonade.
Politicians drinking champagne
from long stemmed glasses.
The lawns at their homes
plushy green and neatly trimmed.
Yet, I’m told,
“Don’t water your lawn!”
Does it deserve to die,
or should I …?

They shut off our power for about 3 hours
To make needed repairs they say
D'ya know how that affects our daily routine
Like our arm's been cut off half way
No heat, no lights, no computers, no telly
We might as well cash in our chips
Aware it was only from nine until noon
But my mind can't handle this blip
Anything different from my normal routine
Throws me in a kind of a dither
I get all sweaty and my eyes bulge out
My speech starts to slip and slither
I once was able to handle these disruptions
When I was young, handsome and virile
Now that I'm a slobbering vile old man
My mental capacity has fizzled
Some people suffer from a power shortage
Every single day of their lives
Got nothing to do with a disruption of power
Their ageing is in overdrive
There are quite a few essential things our bodies
need when scarcity hits the beautiful land of fruits,
of wheat and cattle; today no rain has fallen on furrows,
drought shows cracks in the soil with uprooted trees!
These lands weren't arid like hot deserts...
birds warbled, flowers bloomed, trees swayed!
Nuclear plants nearby have polluted
rivers and streams, we can't irrigate our farms!
No abundant crops this year, nothing to drink;
shortage of everything including sweet milk,
don't think about tasty home-made bread...
look out! Very tough times are looming ahead!
Hear the elite politicians who swear while folks rant,
" Soon, you will have water and bread! "
Their concern should be focused on the environment
and be guided by wisdom, not by greed!
Cake Mix
On the way home,
I stopped at the store.
I bought a cake mix,
yellow, as they were out of
chocolate and white.
Yellow like fields of corn.
Yellow like daffodils.
Yellow is a lovely color,
for a cake,
or a flower,
or a dress,
or a house in the country...
with a white picket fence.
I went home,
and mixed the ingredients.
I used the extra eggs that I had.
I floated them first,
to make sure they were... still good.
Some things are not.
Some people are not.
Some places will never be.
I added extra milk,
and left out the water.
There is a shortage of both,
but I only have a small amount,
for what I need and no more.
The oven is hot.
The pan is half full.
The batter is only partially what it should be.
They make things smaller now,
I know because I use the same pan,
as my grandmother before me.
Not long after, the treat is complete.
I ice it with glaze from the cabinet.
There is no frosting.
There has not been buttercream, in a while.
The family gathers,
and the presentation is absolute.
It is a celebration of us, being together.

October 3 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Malachi 1-4
Key Verse – Malachi 1:9 And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.
FAITH IN GOD WHO IS GRACIOUS UNTO US
God is gracious unto us midst our eternal salvation
Though sometimes, we do not share His gift of redemption
Let us always testify about His goodness for His exaltation
And be worshipful by faith in serving with full devotion.
God is gracious unto us for our advantage
Though sometimes, we do not value His heritage
Let us always seek His help that is of no shortage
And be victorious by faith from life of wastage.
God is gracious unto us with His love that satisfies
Though sometimes, we do not thank Him for His sacrifice
Let us always depend on Him since our needs He does suffice
And be strengthened by faith in His sanctification which purifies.
God is gracious unto us along His truth-settlement
Though sometimes, we do not obey His commandment
Let us always learn from His Word for our enablement
And be empowered by faith to do our best with commitment.
God is gracious unto us with His wondrous grace
Though sometimes, we do not keep His ways
Let us always pray to Him along His goodness-rays
And be answered by faith against doubt-caused delays.
God is gracious unto us making us win in our holy fight
Though sometimes, we do not persevere in doing what is right
Let us always please Him in our stewardship with His might
And be peaceful by faith as we walk in His light.
God is gracious unto us, endowing us His blessing
Though sometimes, we do not appreciate His enforcing
Let us always prioritize Him not inviting grievous cursing
And be joyful by faith while His name we are praising.

The sky is crying
Humanity is dieing
Giving way to transhumanist enslavement
Through mind altering entertainment
Cyborg glory can be yours a body that won't die
Just let them change your DNA and believe their every lie
Diseases and overcrowding the preach from every nation and mountain
Shortage of food and public housing climate change all lies from their poisonous fountain
Get your mrna shot it's the only chance man has got
Look here look there fear everything but our boiling pot
Soon the useless eaters will all be dead
And the usefull will have our chip in their head
Then satan will stand where he should not
Declaring himself as the one and only god
But his reign will be short lived
His chains are forged the pit lay open with its waiting lid
Yeshuas Kingdom of a thousand years
Will ensure that His gospel reaches every ear
Then satan will roam for a short while more
Then the weeds that spring up with him will be burned
And new heaven and earth God will make
And forever we'll live with Him where sin never again will wake
Not for shortage of stones did Stone Age end,
How a Saudi minister chose to fend
For Oil Age in some rage,
And yet, causing shortage,
Trump sure would render it a helping hand.

Note: In a game of cartels versus competition and self-interest, when UAE withdrew from OPEC cartel, a Saudi minister reacted as shown in this ditty. UAE’s decision is not altruistic in favour of completion, in larger good of the world still. Yet alas, cartels and self-interest are common all over the world—overt or covert.
TO BE OR NOT TO BE VACCINATED
Two years of pandemic and there is still no end in sight.
Almost a year since vaccines became available and only
sixty percent in the United States are fully vaccinated,
where there is ample supply; but turned down by some.
Some say, it’s a right, a human right to turn it down; yet
it seems it is more of a political reason or religious belief.
Whatever side you are on, please respect the other side
instead of dissing, criticizing and depending your side.
I am fully vaccinated because I had seen what this deadly
virus can do, when it hit twenty family members from
mid-December last year to early January this year with
two deaths from the five hospitalized, devastating, scary.
Now, it hit my own family, breaking my heart how this
contagion severely hit my son, seeing him struggle with
shortness of breath, could hardly move even with the
oxygen and me, when I am vaccinated with the booster.
All year round, the vaccination has been politicized helping
to widen the gap between the two parties and the people.
The ones opposing even believing conspiracy and violation
of their right behind the government’s mandates for vaccination.
I am for vaccination; but I do not believe in mandating the
vaccination to health care providers for they know how vicious,
contagious this pandemic is; yet they choose to help the ones
stricken with this virus whether they are vaccinated or not.
I know some healthcare providers who are opposed to
vaccination risking their own lives doing their job, their duties.
The mandate would not let these people work and would
create a shortage in providing care for the victims of this virus.
I also understand why the government is mandating the
vaccination for it is one way to combat this pandemic for
it is a primary concern for the country to function, as well
as its people’s welfare, so let us try to keep an open mind.
