A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gym

A funny thing happened on the way to the gym.
Halfway there, my car ran out of gas.
I didn’t have my cell phone. What to do?
I couldn’t miss my favorite spin class!

I figured I could make it if I ran.
I’d have to run really fast, and so
I left my car parked on the road. I had
just fifteen minutes with ten blocks to go.

Just one minute and a half per block
I figured out was all the time I had
to get there right as spin class was beginning.
Yes, I could do it (or could I?) Eegad!

I didn’t even have a watch to know
if I was running fast enough, and then
I tripped over my shoe lace and fell down.
I got up, knee skinned, to run again.

I felt so weird. Cars were slowing down
Some people stared and others laughed at me.
I knew I looked ridiculous, but gee!
Then suddenly, I felt the urge to pee.

I only had three blocks to go, but I
just had to get myself into a store.
Thank heavens, 7/11 was right there.
Breathing hard, I lunged inside the door.

Inside the restroom, to my shock I saw
my outfit was split open, and my rear
was on display for all the world to see.
My heart was pounding, this time more from fear!

I had to leave with paper towels tucked
inside my shorts to cover my behind,
then begged to use a phone to call my spouse -
the spin class now the last thing on my mind!

My spouse arrived. He bought gas for my car
parked seven blocks away. I got (in less
than fifteen minutes) more a workout than
I’d ever got from spin class, plus duress!

Broken Face

Allow me to count this day
Already been paid
Covered christened and laid
Presented on a tray
Delicatessen sweet taste promenade
Beach side staircase
Grazed with escalades
Why trade
When it is finally
Right for me
Been popping bottles of Cristal bubbly sensibly
Fizzled fences draped curtains gold trimmed TV
Imaginary
Why not see beyond galaxies
Tragedies all I haven known
As a child now that I am grown
Will never beg buy gracefully own
Part of the legacy kingdom rightly centered throne
Alone
Will never be surrounded by an army
Gideon fought a battle with less than I did
Why kid
You thought I was going to bag down
Shhh backup came and knocked the fleet to the ground
No sound
No air no pressure
A length a time to you is given centimeter pressure
Why weather
A storm I do not have to chase
Words render skill yours tied with a shoe lace
Why take a fool for his gold
Fell too many of times listen while this story is told
News casted broadcasted all over the world
Smell like you ate haters leftover girl
Why whirlwind when truth is in my vein
My name has never been the same
But changed
To fit my situation
Am I mad because of the hating
Skating
All over the grounds
Just because I look young wisdom landed some how
Wow did that
Faced that time and time again
Just as they thought I fell Holified still got up again
Round 1 then 2 maybe three times it took
Guess I'll add another hater and even sign another book

Premium Member Superior Mother

If I feel guilty
Does that make you
Superior Mother
Am I just a bad bad boy
Who’s just to much of a bother!
I guess things haven’t changed much
Since you taught my father

All of your Sisters
Most of them
had that same sour face
I can understand
How children’s laughter
seemed so out of place
Were you afraid it might make your heart race?
If you had one
It didn’t occupy much space
No one at the school was qualified
or equipped to teach Grace
Smack smack
Another kid
For forgetting to tie his shoe lace

Those golden rules
Seemed more like lead
I can still remember that ear pull
It felt like it would come off my head
It was still sore when I went to bed
I guess I shoulda listened
To what you said.
Sorry for making you see red.

Now the school is closed
No more rules or uniform
Me I’m okay now
I wasn’t born to conform
To you I was unpredictable
Kinda like
a thunder storm
I didn’t fit any norm
Sometimes clay can be
Just a bit to hard to form.

The Emperor of Empathy Chapter 1

Distress is my pain empire
Fluttered in my Liar Mentality…truth be told while I be bold…letting time unwind…
I’m sorry – I’m no higher
Than a King from on High…but, I don’t mind…

Descending from the Stairway of Heaven…walkin’ that confident stride to 7-11
Rainbow smoke sifts out my desire’s fire…
Seep into me…get the dust in my mouth…bring me on Cloud 7
High and drunk off your beat, my empire…

The Day of Unleavened bread is comin’ up…
Gotta get rid of hanging sin from my chin…shattered like a china cup…
On the floor…on the floor…
You don’t like me much anymore…
Heart broken… a pain left unspoken…
I’m climbing higher than the clouds
I’m climbing the mountains of shrouds

Smiling in the face of hardships
Grimacing and arriving undone
Breaking up with breaking down…
Breaking up with breaking down…
Breaking up with breaking down…

It’s killing me
Quietly, I’m alive…

I will survive…
Yet, arriving undone…
I’m alive…
Infatuated by hella fun…

Losing my train of thot…
Untie me from this knot…
I love my pain like the drug Lithium…
Numb my pain, leaving me feelin’ dumb

Have faith and hope – it’s derived from the disability of my energy drainage (a feeling of weariness)
These shattered dreams I long to cope with…catfishing for no reason and downloading useless files won’t help me through this rampage…
On this page…
Of blank stares…
Imagining swaying rocking chairs and iridescent stairs…
I’m invincible…
I’m invisible…
I may be irresistible…
But, don’t hurt me…I’m irritable and sensitive…
Immature behaviors are apparently legal at home…
In this house of abuse – I’m a weird, fuzzy moose…let go and let live…
Let me let out my fumes of manlihood…

Heat waves of be-brave sweep into me
Sweat of defeat trickle down my face,
Attempting to keep pace and tying your shoe lace
Aiming my shadows and reflections on “to-be-or-not-to-be”

On-Off Old Glance Flashing Its Hint

I gat no ing job
All I do is place a daring bet
Sometimes I hit the big stone with my toe
While if luck gat my back, it catapults me like a jet

Madness permits corncob
Yet remain hopeful to have a cot
How come seedling germinates below
When no dropping deposit could have actually clot

Life's race shouldn't be for only ace
Though one needs to be steadfast on his lane
And before hand tighten the golden shoe lace
To avoid the awful onlookers laughter-like-cane

Before pretence make you ale
Try be for everyday as sun and moon ache
Bottom-side-up, toughness won't make chance hale
Its way through fate's hopeful touch of the unknown at stake

On God I lean
Even as flesh gets faith to leach
Empty me of sins and make me clean
Every flaw is free of me but upon him is each

His strength is my will
Driving my steps off "I CAN"
And bless the anxious quills to thrill
Beyond the great proposed altitude span

Imagine a super hen
Grazing on a snowy lea
Then go ahead to feed in a den
Giving òsùbà to lion and lioness via plea

If never suffered acne,
One would simply pray to heal
Its skin lacking favor be put in a hackney
For other hens to learn first how to deal

What if a hand lance
Stunningly to launch and cancel
Will the super hen ever get another chance?
Placed before the brethren on the holy chancel

The pain in its body
Will not bail out the wish to live
In all ramifications be classified bawdy
Even at the expense of grace fortunes give

So soon sun shying
Shall shun skipping sky
So shy sailing saliva silently sighing
See soaked season secretly scouting shall shoot

Blessing unto every eel
In its own world that enrich feeds
Which are rare, lofty and hard to steal
Nutritiously blessed of adequate needs

Insecurity Kills

Once there was me in an old blue shirt,

He noticed me when I got so much dirt.

I was imperfectly looking great in my own grace,

You are so perfect enough to stain my timid place.

I’m flawlessly high and you’re so not

Are you insecure because you’re a rugged knot?

I'm seeing your face with your troop of skanks,

You throw hard rocks on me when I'm at your back.

Faking your smile is little bit horrendous,

Making you novel is incredibly tremendous.

I'm deliberately well and you're trying it hard,

You're just insecure because you can never be a bard.

Hit the ground when you saw my imperfection,

You missed respect and want a strong insurrection.

I’m not stooping down into your shallowness,

Playing your foolish games is not my happiness.

How can an evil look so angelic when he’s in crowd?

He’s insecure you know because he can never be so loud.

It’s infamy when he says he’s everything,

I just know the score that he was only cheating.

You portray a gruesome look on your face,

I’m not frightened to hit it using with my white shoe lace,

Have you realized that we’re not on the same page?

Stop such insecurity because it will be your useless sage.

Tempus Fugit

TEMPUS FUGIT

I seemed to be going through a change,
Maybe the male menopause.
Or perhaps a mid-life crisis,
But I had fun whatever the cause.

I purchased a Harley Davidson
To roar about the place
And I rescued my flares from the wardrobe
That I’d held on to, just in case

With a cowboy shirt and a shoe-lace tie,
I reckoned I looked pretty cool.
But my wife said they weren’t back in fashion
And I simply looked an old fool

I dug out my vinyl collection,
Mostly Bill Hayley and Elvis,
And tried to relive the days of my youth
On the dance floor, rotating my pelvis.

But, last week, I fell off the Harley,
Performing a series of dares
And it caused great amusement in A & E
When the nurse had to cut off my flares.

So now it’s out of my system,
I’ve reverted to acting my age.
As I sit with my pipe and slippers,
Dressed head-to-toe in beige

Elvis has gone back in the loft
And I have to say he’s not missed.
For now, for relaxation,
I listen to Mozart and Liszt.

No Words To Speak

The morning breaks with a solemn look on his face and the sun hiding behind the pregnant clouds suppress the morning with lots of doubt; I couldn’t tell what was going on in his head but he was gathering stones and emptying them on the sprawling lawn, while the universe watches with its open gut as he made a round circles with the stones and form a pit.

I couldn’t tell what he was thinking but his adrenaline was running wild and destiny was creeping up by his sides but the morning with shades of hope help him to remove all doubt and so he clears up the spot and use a bulldozer to dig a gutter around the pit he made with stones on the lawn.

I could see birds flying in all directions as if they had an urgent
Message from heaven, the breeze was blowing fresh air and people were migrating everywhere, they had nothing in their hands except a water bottle and a bag pack on their back. They didn’t know where they were going but they were just walking; they had a specific rhythm in their feet and their footsteps fill the street with a particular beat.

There was just no words to speak for the wound is so deep
They stumble around, the street with a lame look on their faces
They could barely raise their hands for the pain was so strong and I could understand. They wanted to greet me but something was draining their energy and the sun was trying to come out but it kept struggling underneath the cloud but heaven smile at them as they walk about.

There are just no words to speak when the morning makes him weep, the trees rumbles in the bushes with a message of love from the heaven above, his heart could not understand it and his spirit could not contain it, but his soul absorb it.Whisper the words in my ears and tell me what I want to hear, I will be joining you over there, so you have nothing to fear.

The skies are closed so look out for me in a brand new boat
And when the morning is bleak and your lips cannot speak and the words cannot come out, and the smile is gone from your face, and they tie your shoe lace, take off the shoe and run until you feel the heat from the golden sun.

Dwelling

All I want is for you to come and see me so that we can carve out our final destiny, the moment keeps drifting by and the shadows are moving swiftly in the benevolent sky; my heart is pounding and my spirit is travailing in the deep while whispers of hope dances silently in the breeze and the light inside me burst out in a ball of flame and the world stood silent around me.

I could feel the shadows of the night pressing me into the wall and poking me in my gut. It stretched me beyond my limit and there is nothing that could do but bear the night’s punishment and slowly raise the alarm. I cling to my inner soul and watch the shadows fades into the fleeting night while courage stood boldly by my side.

All I want is for you to come so that we can have fun, we will cook on coal fire by the stream and share our heartfelt dream and watch the children play while the heavens steal your heart away.

It is the unspoken words that I cannot hear and your silence that cause my sprit to fear. It is the words that I have never spoken and the passion that I have never shared that eats me up inside and the wisdom that is tied up in your shoe lace has caused my heart to break. I can see deception dripping from your lips and the rulers dragging you down in the pit but mercy keeps holding your hands.

I can hear the water running in the stream and the reindeer standing in the bush with its anther erected in the air sending a symbolic message. It looked from side to side with frightened bulging eyes speaking to you from a distance while mercy sings a pleasant song.

I don’t know where else to turn, the universe is going to burn and I have to stand up strong to push back the deceitful hands. I felt something resting on top of my head but I could not tell where it originates from, I could not hear anything around me except for human voices that keep fading, and I suddenly enter another world filled with well-dressed people celebrating their destiny.

All I want is for you to come and see me so that we can go over the final plans to complete the circle and march with the crowd all over the land.
