Yesterday, I began to share a deep anguish I have as to how some churches use the Holy Spirit as a magician, almost as if they control this THIRD PERSON of the Holy Trinity and Godhead. The verses from Scripture that guides me is Romans 8, John 14-17, and Ephesians, especially chapter 4: 30
II
BIBLE SAYS, New Living Translation:
"The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you." Romans 8:11
This MUST mean we have ALL of the Holy Spirits presence and power inside of us, when we accepted Jesus as our Savior and LORD. Spirit of God is a Person, and cannot be chopped in pieces or slices. He is not a pizza or a pie!
III
No man can give you or me THE HOLY SPIRIT. He dwells inside a believer who - at the moment accepts Jesus - does not abandon Jesus as LORD and Savior.
In summary:
1. You as a believer have all God's Spirit and Power. U don't need apostles or pastors to bless you (but ask biblical pastors to intercede for you in prayer)
2. The Holy Spirit can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30) by poor lifestyle choices believers may make; He does not STOP DWELLING in your heart until and unless you abandon faith in Jesus as LORD
3. If you fall when a "man of god" prays or touches you, that so-called CHRISTIAN is using dark power, not Holy Spirit power. Because no one can USE God's Spirit as Aladdin used his magic lamp and genie. The Spirit raised Jesus from the grave; He is not someone's toy or genie. It is a lie. Most emotionally-weak people faint at bad news, or get too excited, or self-delude even by expecting "to be slain in the spirit." We humans will be swayed ...
We need to pray to the THREE PERSONS of the Trinity only, for HELP to honor God and Jesus. The HOLY SPIRIT never wants your worship. He has no need.
4. The Holy Spirit never wants attention or worship: He points us to Jesus. In fact the TRINITY is self-sufficient, and is a mutual admiration society. Jesus, on earth, pointed to the FATHER as SOURCE! Rarely did Jesus seek worship while on earth. That is a lesson. Mere men & fake pastors seek self-glory! Shalom shalom and amen. Be blessed but read the Bible yourself (at least a verse, daily for meditation. It will RENEW your mind, & please God's Spirit)
We had saved our precious stock of grandpa’s grape
prepared the ground and amended the soil.
After laying out the orchard, we planted cuttings with our own hands.
Fed the young vines with love and creek water
and waited for the work of the rain and sun
before giving birth to the wine.
To insure that his family would produce the best wine.
Grandpa, tho’ as straggly as his grape
cleared trees and topped them to admit the sun.
He would not purchase plants for his soil
and dug the trenches wider and accessed our water.
He was self sufficient and he propagated vines by his hand
We prevented winds from whipping vines out of hand
to best grow and mature the soul of our wine.
The vines followed the contour of steep site which brought the water.
The rows ran north and south to suit the grape - -
this presented light while drying and controlling the soil
allowing the plants to follow the eastern and western sun.
We placed much faith on the drying done by the sun.
We had one to backfill. We wished we had more willing hands.
We had two to dig holes, and one to hold the vine and tamp the soil,
as the fruit began to ripen to marry our precious wine.
A crew of four was used for setting the grape.
The Vines should not be sprinkled with too much water.
We made plans to prevent soil erosion and loss of water
to the harden the wood and expose it to rays of the sun.
The Niagra White and Riesling grape.
Both needed pruning and the waste hay cut our hands.
We made sure our methods were best for the wine.
They would mature late, even in warm soil.
We found that more humus was wanted by the soil.
Some magic was performed to deliver more water.
alas, for the reward of a not so remarkable wine.
Again the wait, the prayers, the morning dew and sun.
More work, more time, sweat and callused hands.
The next year we tried a grafted grape.
We had saved our precious stock of grandpa’s grape
prepared the ground and amended the soil.
After laying out the orchard, we planted cuttings with our own hands.
Fed the young vines with love and creek water
and waited for the work of the rain and sun
before giving birth to the wine.
Our final wine was surrendered by the sun.
We captured the prize from our water and our soil.
My hands, today, still stained with the color of the grape.
*Long long ago there was a very rich father who had a very large family. He built a large house anticipating his family. His children were normal and grew up with the standards that their father set. Occasionally, one or the other would step out of line, but they all respected their very understanding father.
But there was one who often stepped out of line and became more rebellious by not only disregarding his father's standards but by starting to make his own rules. The self-willed son finally grew up and went out on his own, making his own decisions and managing his own life and livelihood with the wealth he had obtained through his father's good graces. Quite often he had to humble himself and request the aid and wisdom of his father. This went well as long as the father would grant him his desires without questions.
When the father made inquiries so as to better assist his son in becoming self-sufficient and independent, the son became angry to the bewilderment and sadness of his father. The father was patient with his son but began to be at a loss pertaining to how he could really help his son. The father was not overbearing nor one desiring to control his adult son. He simply loved him dearly and wanted to see him become successful and happy as he pursued his own life's purpose.
However, matters at times grew from bad to worse, especially when the son would shout out what seemed to be his favorite demand of his father, "I want you to stay out of my business!". Why, the father could not understand such a demand, because he never was a volunteer, but rather was always recruited or drafted by his son into his vast array of adversities and conflicts whether they were financial, marital, or parental. It's sad when a son wants his father to be "in or out" of his life on the son's terms alone.

Black Days Of History

The black days of history that many do not know
And many refuse to accept of how the black man
Helped AMERICA to be the greatest country yet.
They were brought here as slaves because the
Color of their skin!
But their minds was never searched to see
What lied within.
Every ethnic group that came to the states
Had many a hardship that they had to face.
Every race that came was given a derogatory name
Which they had to accept and had felt the shame.
But they all contributed to this great nation of ours
Which is now known as the greatest power.
These are just a few facts of what the blacks
Had given to this nation, and many of these
Became part of our salvation.
FACTS :) 1) john love- invented the pencil sharpener in 1897
2) Joseph lee -invented a bread making machine that mixed
The ingredients and kneaded the dough in 1895
3) Thomas l Jennings was the first African American to receive
A patent in 1821 which was for a dry cleaning process.
He used the money earned from his patent to purchase
Relatives out of slavery and support abolitionist causes.
4) madam c.j. walker (1867-1919) daughter of a former slave
Who suffered hair loss in her twenties and created hair care
Products, and allowed her to open a factory and school to
Train hundreds of black women to be economically self sufficient
And become one of the first female millionaires in U.S. history.
There is still something that burns in my heart
And when I think of it, it tears me apart
Of all the people in this great nation
That has been put to the ground
There lies one race that still lives
Way below the poverty line and
The government says they're doing fine.
The "AMERICAN INDIAN" who had
Almost all treaties broken, and of this the
The government hasn't spoken.
Many families of five or more
Living in a shack without a door
Just a blanket to stop the wind
To me, this is a crying sin.
The Indian charities have to buy
fifty-five-gallon drums for water
And many of them are on "back order".
I know that I started writing this poem for the blacks
But on the Indian nations - I can't turn my back.
We have to help one another, for we're all
Sister and brother.

The sun shines its a beautiful bright star,
As i drive my car its along the bitumen tar,
The trees sway and the bushes breathe,
I want to move to the country i want to leave,
I want to have a garden that can fulfill my needs,
I need to buy a block to have a dwelling and some seeds,
To grow my own crops i could have anything to eat,
Oh how i wish i had this life it really would be neat,
Id have an area for my common herbs,
Id keep a section that could be for the birds,
With vegetables and fruit and even some nuts,
Id be content if i was in a house or even a hut,
Id stock a dam so it was full of healthy fish,
Oh man i think about it i dream and i wish,
Id raise my own animals for a constant meat supply,
Id raise my fruits and vegetables and i really would try,
Id keep goats and chickens for plentiful eggs,
Id keep plenty of water so id never see the dregs,
I would have everything i need a life so simple,
The sun would beam down but i would not crimple,
Id do what i could to be self sufficient,
Id do what i could and try to efficient,
Id grow plenty of gum trees for just enough wood,
If only i had the coin if only i could,
This would be so special for my boy to grow up,
Id go out of my way to let him have a pup,
I know it would be hard that i wont make a living,
But for my boy i truely would be delivering,
Id build a special place for him to go and play,
I'd make sure the dwelling was warm so he could stay,
Id cook on the stove it would be from the fire,
If only i could leave this tainted suburban shire,
This life of living would be damn near free,
I could do want i want i could go hug a tree,
Id keep a garden dedicated to medicine,
If i had the opportunity id try eat some venison,
If i had all of this i could always try to barter,
This is how it should be we should try being smarter,
The sun would rise in the east and set in the west,
It could all be reality until i get layed down to rest,
This would be hard work and that is for sure,
But i would grow so much forever and more,
This life would be so fulfilling, some say it is crazy,
But if i wouldnt want to try then i would be so lazy

A man of few words, my father taught by example.
The best thing he showed me
was to set my standards high
and to be my own judge -
always modest never defiant or arrogant.
If something needed doing
I should do it without expecting praise -
self-satisfaction being the ultimate goal.
He taught me to set my sights high
and to be my own boss
no matter the circumstances –
to be fiercely independent
not count on anyone.
I learned to go about my business and be self-sufficient.
I did not do well in teams – like a bull in a china shop
I had my objectives and went at them as a loner.
I never saw it exactly that way
but I did get good at it to a fault.
One day, it was a rude awakening when
it dawned on me how I was doing things for people
and they were consistently ungrateful.
I knew the problem couldn’t completely be with them
My so-called modesty had become self-fulfilling servitude.
It finally registered that if people didn’t have to ask,
they didn’t have to say ‘thanks’.
And that never mattered to me until
I realized that they were in fact not thankful
And THAT was a whole different ball game.
I literally spent days if not weeks
stubbornly trying to unlearn and reprogram myself.
Tried to get it through my skull that
if people ASK for something,
or at least ADMIT they would appreciate something,
that’s when they might actually appreciate it
How cheap can people be -
what a warped world we live in.
For me, it was a hard lesson in human nature -
I was actually an enabler encouraging people
to take me for granted.
People really do like games
even the ones who say they hate them.
Admittedly it was late in life I learned this lesson
And I admit I often still choose to do things
without getting people to actually ask.
But at least I’m cognizant of my ways.
And admittedly when I do pause
and play the ‘asking’ game, it does pay off.
But I’m so unbelievably stubborn I don’t always
want to pay the price for their gratitude
so to this day, if I feel something needs to be done
I’ll just get it done.
