Premium Member See You Around

Hold my hand squeeze it tightly
when it's time and I go let go
don't say good-bye just say
see you around if its not here it will be there
there is no cure for the pain that love leaves behind
no grave no urn can hold captive a soul
memories need self-medication to dull the pain
sometimes I giggle like I'm insane
sometimes I cry and I don't know why
through joy and tears seeing what's not there
but one day the years and tears of self-inflicted guilt
like a light bulb slowly dimming, will grow weary and wear out
and I'll see you around for some tea and peace

Phase three

Bliss
a phase where we are continually happy
where those people
who are routinely making your relationship
difficult are eased with the promise of one
reaping the rewards of a successful endeavor.

when the stage is set and those who wish you happiness
can know longer narrate or meddle in
the two Lovers lives.
When the ink is casted
let the honeymoon began.

She bought both her flute and oboe
on the honeymoon.
She had me crawling on my oboes just to
get next to her.
Every time I started smochie hoochie
she blow the flute.
I kissed her cheek and she blow the oboe.
I had to get a sing with her to stay outta trombone: I bassoon it's
part of the honeymoon phase. Being inspired and all. But staying interested meant staying in tune
but hat's all n the Bliss of romance.
It's all about romance and being romantic!

The Tip on Table Seven was from the Guy I told this
Story too. He to was
on his honeymoon.
The Gal's went outside clownshow.
Too many insect out there for me
I came inside! She out there in
th Gally get-up: Dudes lookin all up on her:
Let me get out there:before she start
smiling up in somebodies face!
See you around man!

What Goes Around Comes Around

When I said get lost and you refused
Act like you’re innocent play it confused
Telling your story which is simply untrue
And I’m not believed what do I do?

people believe what they want to believe
And they don’t hear me so I’ll gladly leave
Social approval you’ve lied to succeed
Seeking attention as is your need

People believe you will find out in time
Like all those before who know that you lie
Lies are only ever a temporary disguise
Unknown at first but the people grow wise

You are dishonest and cannot be trusted
con people at first but always get busted

You are a blagger but not to the stranger
Time goes by and they judge you stranger
If I was unstable you would be in danger
But I’ll gladly see you an absolute stranger

I said I’ll see you around
Because you lie and let down
And you still do that all around town
What goes around comes around

Leader of Men

Leader of men
By Michelle Morris
08/12/2022

You looked back
One last time
Took a match
And burned it to the ground

As you glanced
At that fateful house
I knew then
The fire would strike

Like lightning in a bottle
Like cats on a hot tin roof
Like black holes in space
You always felt you'd lose

All that energy trapped inside you
So many suns and energy
I knew you had to explode
And let it all be free

Let the lightning strike the glass
Let the cats shriek their chorus
Let the black holes create wormholes
It's time to change your story

When you walked away
Fiery halo glows
You looked like a warrior angel
Ready to strike God's blows

Like a stone skipping on a pond
Like autumn's leaves drifting to the ground
Like a pilot breaking the sound barrier
The ripples would flow around you

Let the stone skip forth your message
Let the autumn give way to winter
Let the boom shake loose the residue
Of this life you're leaving behind

You travelled around the world
You learned about cultures and beliefs
You remade yourself from the ground up
The foundations humble and fierce

You never returned to this town
Who could blame you for what they did?
But sometimes I see you around
When I'm astral travelling in dreams

Like the snow on the highest mountains
Like the dewdrops on the sweet crocus in spring
Like the lambs who are born so innocent
You are reborn and strengthened by Him

Let the heights guide your aspirations
Let those dewdrops keep you clean
Let your innocence always remain
As you become a leader of men

I Should Have Captured and Kept Your Love In My Heart

I stare at your pictures that still hang on my wall
They’ll be there forever until they rot or fall
I held on so tight I forced you to let go
But I still care for you more than you will ever know

When you left you tore my soul apart
I should have captured and kept your love in my heart

I see you around with someone other than me
I hope there good to you and that you’re truly happy
Don’t let them make the same mistakes like I had to live
Tell them to open up inside and always be ready to give.

When you left you tore my soul apart
I should have captured and kept your love in my heart

Learn from each other and don’t bottle anger and hate
You’ll be together forever if that’s your fate
Trust in each other don’t live the lie
Share everything so you don’t have to say goodbye

When you left you tore my soul apart
I should have captured and kept your love in my heart

Crush

Butterrflies in my stomach
Each time I see you around
I have thousands of words to say
But have no courage to spill it on my own tongue
The world stops but time is going on
When you're next to me
I'm blushing inside
You walked in to me
My heart palpitates in a bit
This magnetic attraction to you
Something I want to savor every minute of my life
I do insane things because of you
I wrote your name at the back of my book
Thinking if love possibly collides us
Nevertheless it doesn't matter
As long as I see you smiling
What a beautiful day
Don't know when this feeling is going to end
Hate why I'm jealous, yes it's not my right.
But when I see you with someone else
My whole world is flooded with tears
But in my mind we are getting married
We build a family and live happily
I'm crazy but I'm loving it much
But I hope you never see it
My ultimate crush

Too Strong To Break

The sound of your voice echoes down my ears
You make me calm each time you come near
It's like souring to the corridors of heaven
Wishing to stay with you twenty four / seven
You form a piece of what's been missing inside me
That I still can't explain how I right now feel
Each time I see you around
You fill my ears with romantic sound
Your face hunts my dreams every night
That I love every bit of your sight
I now see reasons why the beautiful ones are not yet
born
Cos they fear competing with your beauty for which
you've already won
God made an heavenly beauty in the person of you
That words cannot be enough to explain it to you
You are really an angel to behold
A master piece creation of what God mud
A bundle of boundless peace
That is never on a lease
A framework of a perfect lady
That can drive any man crazy
You really need to see yourself for who you really are
For my words can't explain everything by far
You gave me all in life I see as good
Made me dream of things I never thought I could
I cherish every moment with you
And I crave for even more time with you
With you I fell in love
Like peace did with a dove
Your love is the strongest thing I have ever felt
Being with you is the sweetest dream I have ever
dreamt
I know you've heard " I LOVE YOU " a million times
before
I am hear to say it some more
Just like a piano that produces melodious tunes
You brought to my world so many good fortunes
The angels sings when you are near
In your arms I have nothing to fear
I just can't imagine living without you
Our pictures together catches the eyes in a perfect
view
By Your side I want to stand forever
For you and I are meant to be together

Gone Away

My bestie friend has gone away
taken away that faithful day
I can't believe you are really gone
why you go and left me alone
I guess it was time according to God
I cannot shake this oh my God
I just saw you not that long ago
that faithful day you were alone
I feel so lost I dont believe it
I cant even go to see your mother
if I do I know I will cry
I dont want her to see the redness in my eyes
Its been two years I still feel sorrow
Im so lost and wish I could borrow
the strength of someone stronger then me
As I write this I still hope you will remember me
Until that day I will see you around
push the last of the dirt from the ground
one last breathe
one last tear
I miss you my friend
especially when Im still here

Staying Alive

working in the sweltering sun, had to stay till the job was done
i started to sing : " staying alive " as the sweat poured down my thighs
then i saw her with the convertible top down
her hair was short and mousey brown
her rosy lips complimented her smile, she had grace, she had style
she gave me a bottle of water to cool me down
smiled and said : " see you around "
i sipped the water very slow , and her body i wanted to know
i had to finsh this job on time, cause all day long she was on my mind.
quitting time was getting near, and when i turned she was there.
" hey cable guy- i liked what i saw, came back to see some more "
she parked her car and got out - this is what life s all about.
short shorts, high heels, and she wore a tied up blouse
her long tanned legs complimented the look
i knew right then that i was hooked.
walking over she grabbed my face and planted kisses in every space.
then her lips finally met mine, and took me beyond all time.
she pulled away from me and with that smile asked if i wanted
to go to her house for a while, and make passionate love all night
untill the early morning light.
my hands started to tremble and my voice started to shake
as i rushed to the car before it was too late.
she was true to her word and we made love all night
i'm glad as hell " that she's my wife "
ha -ha hope you enjoyed this tale !

Premium Member Her Name Was Lucy: the Girl On the Corner

I watch for her after midnight's twelve strokes,
often thinking how life likes to play cruel jokes.
Stilettos clicked on pavers as she walked
a nod on the stairs, but we'd never talked.
Eyes smudged with black liner, like bars on a cell,
She always returns looking like she's been through hell.

I knew her name was Lucy. I heard him yell at her last night.
She trembled past me in the hallway, teary eyes full of fright.
Midnight lady, short skirts, and pouting ruby lips,
street corners for an office as she swings her hips.

I saw her in the morning light when she walked out the door.
Fresh face, pink cheeks scrubbed clean, and nothing more.
In jeans and baggy t-shirt, she looked like an innocent child,
not the kind of woman who got paid to drive men wild.
Lucy - if I tried to rescue you what would you think of that?
Would you have to worry about the guy who wears the fancy hat?
No one can own another, so I'd like to make an offer to you.
I'll buy you a ticket to anywhere if you tell me you're through.

I'm just a stranger, but I know who and what you are...
too young and beautiful to live a life that's so bizarre.
I've never gotten over how guilty it made me feel
for living that life while pretending nothing was real.
I'm offering you the way to get out the mess you're in,
a life of danger, a tangled web of emotional sin.

Dear Lucy,
I'm leaving this note and money under your door
because I don't wanna see you around here anymore.
I wish someone had given me the chance to be free
then maybe I could forgive myself for what I used to be.

You don't know who I am, and it really doesn't matter.
My name once was Lucy, before I was bruised and battered.
Long ago I had a daughter that I was forced to give away.
I'll regret the choice I made until my breath fades away.
                                       Signed: Someone who cares
                                                      Someone who dares

I prayed this Lucy was not the daughter I had born.
In her faded jeans and baggy t-shirt she had worn,
I watched her walk away with all she owned flung over her shoulder.
I knew she'd have a better life than I had by the time she was older.
As a tree, my limbs are broken and brittle. My life not worth a dime.
But if she is my fallen apple, out of the gutter I must help her climb.
