May life bless you with real freedom,
Keep enjoyment as your place,
May you find your own confidence,
From your education and your space;
May you entertain discernment,
Whilst fulfilling your desires,
And may platitude be rescinded,
By real love in your eyes.
May you receive more than you give,
And see reason when there's none,
May your friends light your inside,
May you give hope to those with one;
May you save the exploited from oppression,
By making despair to you most personal,
And may equality be the standard,
For your repudiation of its dismissal.
May you always uphold justice,
Even in dark and uncertain times,
When faced with honest requests,
And its unsettled times sometimes;
May you do what’s right no problem,
Not questioning the strain,
Nor grumbling about the consequences,
Of morality’s devoted love train.
May your diamond be stalwart honour,
For war heroes old and injured,
Tormented by battlefields and sights,
Of the mangled and beleaguered;
May you testify to fact and truth,
And publish what you know;
And may reason be your sociology,
To dictatorial governments overthrow.
May you respect others in esteem,
For kindness and achievement,
May you follow those you understand,
As beautiful in accomplishment;
May you undertake endeavours,
Which ramify the other unstudied,
By embracing love and laughter,
As whispers of grace embodied.
May you always say what’s inside,
Whilst giving other people a chance,
Trusting them with your memories,
That history upon which you cannot glance;
May you always speak your mind,
To make rationality your guide,
And in dignity confide and correct,
To let the delinquent within you abide.
May your philosophies be trophied,
As a garland by the lonely,
And may your way be warmly accepted,
Without negotiation or apology;
May righteousness be your hallmark,
And caring thought your attribution,
And may you emerge as a good person,
Bringing light where there’s intrusion.
A shattered heart; tears spilling like rain
No one would ignite the flames of my desire
To this, I swore an oath to never love again
until the kiss of a friend, kindled in me a fire
His touch was not expected, but felt so right
He quoted poems of Byron and then his own
Poetry 'neath the stars, I fell in love that night
I gave myself eagerly; my heart did condone
We walked along the shore, clasping our hands
He pulled me close, then we began to explore
A time of awakening was not among my plans
I quivered in his arms, wanting so much more
My oath was then rescinded, but I'm not at fault
I'll blame it on the moon, the glimmer of stars,
and passionate kisses that unlocked the vault
to rid my wounded heart of its jagged scars
~ Inspired by Katie Melua's 'I'll Blame it on the Moon,'

You’re an *******.
Words muttered out of context, out of line.
A rage-shadowed truth,
but with such unexpected forthrightness,
it missed its mark,
serving only to deepen our divide.
Home is no longer where happy is.
I’m not sure it ever was.
There’s no abuse hurled or fists weaponized,
and much
— if not all —
is done with the intent of love.
But even so,
my nerves are frayed, and I can take no more.
Three hours pass,
and I begin counting down the seconds till escape.
Has distance weakened me so?
Have the miles between myself and that tumultuous guilt-laced anger
made me so fragile and contemptible of thought?
The fatigue enters my very bones from the moment I cross the threshold,
and anxiety-heightened feelings fight their short leash
with new resolve.
Where before I ruled my emotions and responses
with resignation and an iron fist,
I’ve become a feeble-willed sovereign,
allowing them to run amok with freedom previously unexplored.
No part of my reaction
or unbidden tears
are based in reason,
no matter the (harmless) judgments passed or words that can’t be rescinded.
Countless crueler realities play out
near and dear to my heart.
I must be pathetic and wicked,
(for others truly have a cross to bear; I have none)
and I should believe I deserve
to pay for my disfavor
in the very blood that runs through us all.
Matthew 15:4: “For God said,
‘Honor your father and mother’
and
‘Anyone who curses their father or mother
is to be put to death.’”
I cannot apologize enough
to erase the stains of my thoughts,
nor can I gather the resolve to twist this on myself
any longer.
I am unworthy of a love such as that which I receive.
I'd bloomed from the warm glow in his eyes.
He had been my sunlight when darkness loomed.
His arms protected me, for he was my safe haven,
but too soon, the light faded from his hazel eyes,
and his voice, a gasp when drawing a breath.
His life was pilfered by Death, the morbid thief.
Stolen from us were Utopian days of splendor.
The painful loss is a burden I must endure,
uncertain of how I will face tomorrow alone.
I wept in silence until the bronzed edge of twilight
chased prisms of light from pastel skies.
A shroud of gloom veiled the wound in my heart
as I felt the gatekeeper gently touch my arm.
Layers of cold black earth now separated us.
I still held the red rose I'd brought for his coffin.
Streaks of tears washed blush from my cheeks,
while I shivered in fear without his hand to hold.
I was years older since morning had dawned,
wilting like the spray of lilies, heads drooping.
They were withered and dying, their beauty lost.
Once vibrant and sweet, their fragrance fading,
they lie on a grave for which they were grown.
On alabaster marble, my finger traced his name,
wishing love's affliction could somehow be rescinded.
I was at the impasse where life and death collide.
I stood, but left my crushed red rose on the chair,
for unable was I to whisper 'goodbye.'

Break My Heart, Why Don't Cha Contest
Sponsored by Edward Ibeh
It is now too late for you to
Straighten up and
Fly right!
You have failed to pass
The test of time.
It is too late to love your neighbor
There is nothing left to do now
But go back into the nothingness
From whence you come.
Day and night will no longer
Be separated by the sun
And the moon.
The sun will no longer co-operate
With your demand for light.
The children are suffering
My elders are unhappy-
And do not - want to live
Upon this planet again.
All the worms have turned;
Every punched has been pulled;
You have failed to pass
The test of time.
No more shall you remember
the promise of eternity.
The moon is blood red
The rivers are bleeding,
Mother Earth’s blood.
She has been savagely raped
And abused.
I will not restore knowledge that has been
Lost or misused.
You had the law and
you did not use it.
To those of you who have been
so unkind an untoward my creations.
You have failed to pass...
The test of time throughout the ages.
Fire rages
I am speaking from
my God-mind.
I am fed up
Finally.
When the grid
Breaks; And the earthquakes,
"Too late to remedy the plunder."
The senseless murders and destruction.
No way to balance the metabolism
No way to love your brothers
Of different colors.
Back to the void--Back to the nothingness,
that you were before
I imagined you.
I am now rescinding my breath
Revoking the stewardship.
I will in one million years recreate
a new species.
They will decipher your written words;
And they will create laws that ban the ways
Of you new primitive men.
My new species will not
invent ways to ignore me,
I will pattern them after the Amish;
They will be good stewards of
"Mother Earth".
and...Will become at one with the
With the universe and Its Laws.
But as for you, your time is done;
Back you go into the dark hole.
And you will become undone.
No-one on my new planet
Will discover you.
You have failed to pass
The test of time;
There’s no way now to keep time.
Now there are no righteous left, to
Make things
Right.
Blessed are the ones that have
Already transcended
Before times words were rescinded.
And I who created you:
Decided to end it.

Concerning the madness...

The lion has roared
But has anyone heard?
The jungle wilds have listened
All have scattered and hidden
Each time a sparrow falls
Our Heavenly Father sees all
And hastens to the birdy's fall
The Divine questioner has spoken
But the human hearer has not heard
Our busied hearts have yet to be stirred
Too many think repentance is too absurd
We dismiss God, refusing to be disturbed
The trumpet is sounding loud and clear, Far and near, but where is the fear?
Nine questions of obvious "No" answers*
Obvious answers but total blindness
Divine secrets have been revealed,
Released to restore and to heal,
In order to avoid the bitter pill
Lord, turn your face our way still
Lord, may your judgment be rescinded
May your magnanimous mercies be extended
We are easily frighten by pandemics and stall
May we not fail to hear and heed the clarion call

You've broken every rule of civility
With the execrable decision you made recently
You withdrew a job offer from a school superintendent
for addressing you as 'Ladies' in an acceptance email
You claim the term constitutes a micro-aggression'
But it's you abominations who have disgraced your profession
The superintendent-to-be meant to compliment you
But you two sows couldn't see that for the cud that you chew
I have much more to say, but come what may ~
You deserve to chew CRUD for the rest of your days

REIGNING SPIRIT
Like a ravenous fire is my tongue.
The spirit of a wild wolf resides inside my restless flesh
I was sent to devour and destroy misnomers…
Mortar bricks and clay shall wash away *chomers
Trust only in God’s promise and not in the lore.
I was sent to reveal the lies.
I despise what God despises:
I love that which God does Love;
Surrender to my words of wisdom,
Walk not behind the jolly who follow folly’
The miserable will soon be, forever free.!
The day of reckoning is near and all who suffer
even as a child will be cleared.
All who gather their wealth will feel the wrath…
and so, it has been set in motion
can never be rescinded.
As what you have done to the least of us
on earth shall be the destroyer of you.
Retribution and Karma are the relentless force
that no evil can conquer.
The face of the creator
shall never bless your internal eyes.
For you are without the God Spirit
and are without shame or truth.
You have no eyes, nor mouth, nor tongue. ~
Soon we will all be free… from this temporary flesh.
I do not rejoice in your ignorance
neither do I fear your temporary power.
Yea though I walk in wisdom
I am still but one grain of sand in all of the mighty oceans.
As the sun shines down near all the oceans;
I am that tiny particle that glistens.
So please listen…
Stand up and be counted.
Speak up and be heard …
“Attempt your utmost endeavor”
Pray for a discerning spirit and know that…
Though the wicked ones are at large-
God is still in charge.
From now until forever!

Step softly into the chamber of dreams,
Where reality unravels at the seams.
Close your eyes, let your senses unfurl,
As imagination begins to whirl.
Can you taste the colour of midnight blue?
Or hear the silence of morning dew?
Feel the texture of a distant star,
As it whispers secrets from afar.
Now, let your thoughts take flight,
Soar beyond the bounds of sight.
Paint the sky with shades unknown,
Harvest melodies yet ungrown.
Imagine a world where trees converse,
Where shadows dance and clouds rehearse.
Where your fingertips can trace the wind,
And forgotten memories are rescinded.
Breathe in the scent of tomorrow's dawn,
Feel yesterday's echoes softly drawn.
Let your mind create a new dimension,
Where time bends at your intention.
Picture a place where dreams take root,
Where ideas bloom and bear strange fruit.
A realm where impossibility dies,
And wonder fills infinite skies.
Now, open the doors of perception wide,
Let imagination be your guide.
For in this space between your thoughts,
Universes are born and battles fought.
Can you see it? The endless expanse,
Where does creativity lead the dance?
This is your mind's true dominion,
Where imagination spreads its pinion.
So linger here, in this mental sphere,
Where the extraordinary draws near.
For in imagination's embrace,
You'll find your most magical place.
Burden of proof lies squarely on the accused’s name;
The filer can exaggerate and overstate any imagined claim.
In Minnesota, Judges are forced to approve nearly every filing,
Driven by social movements and organizations beguiling.
Oft approved ex parte, temporarily, a future hearing scheduled,
This scorch the earth weapon, leaves most divorce issues settled.
Children are torn from their nuclear parent’s loving arms,
Under the malevolent guise they are protected from atomic harms.
Homes change hands before the ink dries on an order penned,
Leaving the respondent in the streets on their sore hind-end.
Given ten minutes under a Sherriff deputy’s mindful and glaring guard,
One can enter the house to take an armful never to return to the yard.
Future proceedings can take many months and in some cases years,
Simple items forgotten will not be given until the MTA clears.
Falsely accused, you’d think it would not ever get worse,
Until one discovers the plaintiff also firmly grasps strings on the purse.
Given days to mastermind and execute the unfolding of events,
The accuser never looks back considering recompense.
The use of OFP’s in divorce is not only legal,
Attorneys are even encouraged to inveigle.
No laws exist to punish use outside of the scope of legality,
Lawyers readily encourage the OFP’s use as a simple formality.
Even when the order is rescinded or released upon first hearing,
The status quo has been set in favor of the plaintiff endearing.
The state says they would like to minimize conflict in divorce,
Out of fear for real abuse victims they simply will not change course.
But, the moral of “The Boy Who Cries Wolf” ends in his grisly death.
Protect real victims, punish the abuse of the OFP use and breadth.
