November 18 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Galatians 1-3
Key Verse – Galatians 1:1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead.)
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY WELL-BEING’S RAISER
Lord God, You are my well-being’s Raiser by Your grace
Thank You for saving me from hell’s fire and death-sin’s brace…
Indeed, I trust You with my sincere praise
While depending on Your help along life’s race.
Lord God, You are my well-being’s Raiser by Your zeal
Thank You for giving me Your assured redemption-seal…
Indeed, I please You with my faith, genuinely real
While glorifying Your name with how You marvelously deal.
Lord God, You are my well-being’s Raiser by Your reaching-out
Thank You for offering to me life eternal of no doubt…
Indeed, I believe You to lead me toward heaven’s route
While declaring Your Gospel with hallelujah shout.
Lord God, You are my well-being’s Raiser by Your compassion
Thank You for imputing to me righteousness, pardoning my transgression…
Indeed, I live for You with earnest devotion in my divine mission
While valuing Your sacrifice that brightens my illumined vision.
Lord God, You are my well-being’s Raiser by Your resurrection-evidence
Thank You for governing me by Your supreme providence…
Indeed, I worship You, devoid of vanity’s confidence
While acknowledging Your blessings beyond any coincidence.
Lord God, You are my well-being’s Raiser by Your power
Thank You for lifting me up from guilt’s condemnation-tower…
Indeed, I serve You since I am now Your follower
While enjoying Your fellowship midst my being a good-work doer.
Lord God, You are my well-being’s Raiser by Your loving kindness
Thank You for enclosing me within Your blissful peacefulness…
Indeed, I ask that You uphold my faithfulness
While profiting in Your ministry of stewardship-fruitfulness.

Morgana was born into her role as dragon raiser as a sixth daughter
The beasts she nurtured were sweet as youth, but grew to slaughter
Some thrived near lakes and swamps, all kinds of glistening water.
Morgana showed them how to survive well springs that were hotter.
One of her newest baby dragons was unwilling to listen to her at first.
He kept burning his tongue on the well spring water, quenching his thirst.
Cedric is daring, she told everyone as his lung filled up in a burst.
My last two baby dragons were both decidedly worst.
We could see that Morgana had a forgiving heart for this beast.
He was soon leading her armies in battle from the north to the east.
Morgana and Cedric left most of their enemies critical or deceased.
When they returned to the cavern they would celebrate with a huge feast.
They are a formidable pair, the king said, intimidated quite a bit.
And that dragon is hilarious, he has a keen, entertaining wit.
He takes orders so well from Morgana, even when he is lit.
His queen knew his heart; king was jealous of the dragon raiser chit.
You could have your own dragon, she said, assuring him.
But his fear factor was strong, this King named old Jim.
So he sat on his throne, studying the dragon with vim.
Scared of both Morgana and Cedric, as the king was quite dim.
Gwyneth the dragon raiser dreamt of slaughtering enemies in an easy way
She shared this with one squire, who created armor that fit her back sway
Healthpal her favorite dragon offered to accompany his trainer to the front.
he could read her mind, and with him, she would not get scared or want.
set out at daybreak the minute her armor was finished, sandwiches in hand.
Enemies were everywherel Healthpal’s fire would fix any loose in a band.
Her father watched them go and sent avid prayers to her mother.
she was being followed covertly by her cousin and older brother.
battle of Armisttooth was in full swing when they reached their destination.
Gwyneth took her place in the fight, and Healthpal showed them his station.
They annihilated much of the enemy’s troops, and soon had them on the run.
Oh my gosh! Said her brother and cousin “This was all kinds of fun!”
Gwyneth was upset, thinking they did not think she could handle herself.
She was not a porcelain doll or a china teapot to be put high up on a shelf.
We just came to watch, they said. Are you ready to go to the new front?
They worked together next time, chasing the enemy home to Van Brunt.
Dedicated to all girl children out there On this International day of the girl child
A GIRL CHILD
I wish to tell you that you're the first solution God invented Himself.
You're the reason for the word Nation
You're the reason for the word family
And the word partnership came to being because you were made.
What is life without a helper?
What would the world have been without you, a girl child?
Raiser of men of wisdom
Doom of men without knowledge.
Even the bible calls you a good thing for whoever finds a wife amongst you.
Men may tame the wildest beasts.
But you tame even the strongest man.
And while the men ran away from the tomb
You were the first to visit.
When they say women are the problem
Remember to tell them...
Wrong application of right formula would always give the wrong answer
TODAY, I CELEBRATE ALL THE GIRLS ACROSS THE GLOBE

(1)
Strophe
Slowly and slowly fly the mighty feathers:
the uncanny wrath bearer, the poacher's prey,
the bald bizzare stigmatic cryptic creature, the ecology's majestic role player;
the curtain raiser of ecosystem's air purifier.
Alas! Your iconographic role is omitted,
you, the saviour of the mortal race
from the contagious diseases.
Astounded! How you uncontaminated dear environment.
Your poaching has taken away
the soul of the balanced ecosystem;
crucial is saviour friend's presence, on the verge of extinction plight might have horrid ripple effect!
(2)
Antistrophe
Irony! The friend's void can't be substituted by mere replicas of sustainable development;
the diminishing existence will
drastically affect the local food webs!
How alluring to have a glimpse
of the hunch and tuck of the bird's head in the cold,
flapping and fluttering the wings,
stretching the neck in the heat!
You, remain aloft for hours,
soars gracefully on long broad wings;
with dazzling sharp eyes
from the highlands to pick the carrion!
(3)
Epode
Your iconographic presence is being honoured by the myths, legends, fables of civilizations from ages.
High time to contemplate, to introspect,
to jump into the ecosystem's integral bandwagon:
as pivotal to rescue and redeem the bird's friendly endangered existence!

Folks avoid that spooky place 'specially on dark and stormy nights!
Heard are eerie moans and shrieks and seen are mysterious lights!
A driftin' hoss thief by the unlikely name of One-Eyed Buck LaHore,
Was strung up on the 'hangin' tree' way back in '72, accordin' to local lore!
Now, ol' Jedge Stern, renowned as the 'hangin' jedge' in them there parts,
Owned the hoss that Buck stole, showin' no respect and lack of smarts!
Buck vanished in the night a-high-tailin' it fer the Mexican border,
Trailed by a posse to bring 'im back dead er alive upon the jedge's order!
He was found carousin' in an El Paso cantina havin' a grand ol' spree!
The sheriff said, "Son, come with me! You've got a date with the 'hangin' tree'!"
There was little Buck could do with a dozen forty-fours starin' 'im in the face!
"Boys, you got me! Don't make a scene! Let's git outta this here place!"
Hauled before the jedge, Buck admitted he'd been a hell-raiser all his life.
"But, jedge" he pled, "I didn't cause no harm like molestin' a feller's wife!"
Judge Stern saw things diff'runt 'specially since 'twas his hoss he stole!
"Son, you're to be strung up on a tree and may God save yer rotten soul!"
To this very day on moonlit nights Buck can be seen swingin' in the breeze,
Clawin' at the noose about his neck yellin', "Jedge, have mercy on me please!"
That stern ol' jedge has shown no mercy as is evident from all indications.
Alas, the ghost of that wily thief will haunt local folks for many generations!

A covert curtain raiser pulls a string and marvels at an epic scene
Though parsimonious in essence the stage appears rather obscene
Black cross and pitch dark raven on bold charcoal sable tapestry
Ragged clairvoyant who twiddles cross bones by Caron's decree
The program had promised naked clarity and seductive treats
But now no bodies couple on the wooden floor in satin sheets
The truth however fresh from history's and other sad cohabitation
Sours moist appetites and threatens voyeuristic contemplation
A simple box white as true innocence depicts death's surrender
Rusty nails large as serrated daggers stick out of wood and tender
For anyone's guess as to who holds the moribund mortal keys
And for what the final will and wish decides to bequeath
Maybe the dramatist shows kindness after the transmission
Once champagne flutes held council in one last rendition
For when audiences in deck chairs recline on the Titanic
But the fool's vessel succumbs even when Satan is manic
Spectators wait on fleshy bums for anything to be told and relieve
The grandstand platform from misery far too mournful to conceive
But while the actors carry on with epilogues and future insanity
There is no second act and no dress rehearsal for humanity
10th April 2020
A blanket of warmth cossets us with calm. The grey of sky & sea melts & meets, Screening the shingled scene as anticipation rises, Eyes strain, expectation fades
Berry stained hands hold the-cups-that-cheer, As we await a revealed curtain raiser, That declares the reality of time & space.
Two lighted ships, bulks unseen glow to confirm Life lives. In the void the power station, Back-lights, the Eastern edges of the stage.
Surely, we’re not abandoning such an emotive ‘play’ for homes! As a once in a lifetime promised Indian summer’s come true.

songs aren't really poetic are they
rhyme though a b r b ay o hey
put it to a beat it don't half bounce
read it think I smoked a half ounce
Unseasonal summer rains at once burst
Everywhere litter and garbage dispersed
Making men run here and there for shelter
In no time, life becomes helter-skelter
Unexpected like facing an old friend
Heat waves turn into zephyrs in the end
Enraptured by a great relief to hearts
Pleasant weather diffused in many parts
Unlucky for farmers who toiled year long
Grains stay afloat; a heart rendering song
In the wink of an eye, things go tumbled
Happy dreams about their kindred crumbled
Unkind like a bad master who reviles
Vicious arrows of words for making trials
With tongue lashing, makes the servants feel hurt
As huge hailstones thudding down with a spurt
Unfurls an eye feasting vibrant rainbow
Cleans air and makes leaves look fresh and aglow
Koel starts singing as if spring gets back
A curtain raiser to ‘Fall’ next on track
