(written to be sung to the tune of “What a Wonderful World it Would Be” as sung by Sam Cooke, but I first heard it in the 60's by Herman's Hermits)
Don’t know much about politics.
Only know there are lots of di#ks.
Hardly know why these kinds of guys
cause division and lead with lies.
But I do know the things I see.
One and one don’t add up to three.
What an upside-down world it’s become.
Not for certain about anything.
Whistle blowers are afraid to sing!
Trust no CDC or FBI.
Do they really protect us? (sigh)
But I do know the things I see.
One and one don’t add up to three.
What an upside-down world it’s become.
Well, I saw many prices rising fast.
But what did Biden say?
Blamed it all on Russia and smiled with big teeth.
I’m shocked by now we’ve not collapsed!
I do know about history.
Never long lives prosperity.
Loony speeches leave me with no doubt,
and I’m hoping that all truth will out!
For I do know the things I see.
One and one cannot add up to three.
What an upside-down world it’s become.
Dum dum dum dum dum dum dum (politics)
dum dee dum dee dum dee dum dee dum dee (lying guys)
Hmm Hmmmm – all those di#ks.
Have a burger with some fries . . .
And enjoy it while you can.
Reset’s coming. Will you have a dime?
What an upside-down world it’s become.
January 14 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 41-42
Key Verse – Genesis 41:16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
HEART THAT BELIEVES GOD WHO GIVES AN ANSWER OF PEACE
God gives us an answer of peace as our heart triumphs in His victory
With His assurance for our salvation by His glory
That secures our eternal future against hell’s fury
Midst sinfulness attacking us along guilt’s misery.
God gives us an answer of peace as we show our heart’s sincere gratitude
With His approval for our faith-anchored attitude
That strengthens our trust-fortitude
Midst challenges in life along trials' latitude.
God gives us an answer of peace as our heart serves Him midst Christ’s gearing
With His righteousness for our holy faith’s soaring
That upholds our soul against transgression-caused torturing
Midst frustrations in discipleship’s fruit-bearing.
God gives us an answer of peace as our heart offers sacrifices of humble presentation
With His grace for our constant purification
That grants our iniquities’ forgiveness-sanctification
Midst pride in meekness-practice and performance-perfection.
God gives us an answer of peace as our heart exalts Him with joyful praises
With His gladness for triumphant worship our spirit expresses
That lifts up our commitment against laxity’s forces
Midst discontentment in worldliness’ success.
God gives us an answer of peace as our heart magnifies Him upon truthful excellence
With His standard for our effective and efficient diligence
That corrects our complacency and negligence
Midst slothfulness in working, devoid of competence.
God gives us an answer of peace as our heart seeks His favour for our labour's sincerity
With His commendation for our dedication’s tenacity
That blesses our obedience of love for Him in honesty
Midst provings in abiding in His will of nourishing prosperity.

To bow my head before oppression
was never written in my genetic code.
To play the slave for a miserable wage,
and pray to the god of those slave-masters
in order to taste the pleasures of prosperity,
is nothing but a nightmare.
If I do not love you,
I will tell you straight in the eyes,
like those independence fighters
born of my genealogical tree.
I hate the hypocrites,
the deceitful, the envious,
the liars, the racists, the traitors,
and those human beings who lie down
beneath the weight of oppression.
I am the expression of a humanity
freed from the burdens
of Western societal conformity.
I despise propriety
when the environment is hostile.
When I suffer,
my demons seize control of the vessel.
I have but one life,
one journey,
one dusk,
before the reaper
comes to harvest my tainted soul.
My allegiance is to Africa,
despite the chaos that has reigned there for centuries.
I will remain bound
to the cradle of humanity
until my final dusk.
All the noisy critters, warblers and the morning, young horse rider
have taken with them spring's harmony;
no longer can galloping beats and songbirds make this black, forest
echo with their delightful sounds of felicity;
winter has indeed stripped it of every beam of light and lovely flower.
That handsome troubadour who came from France was happy,
too anxious to get to Florence and live in courts of prosperity
and galloping on the unpaved roads below the majestic Alps
never thought of his mademoiselle who was also dreaming,
drifting to places where true romance lived in sincere hearts,
but sadly this was done on wishful thinking
from a rose-bloomed balcony as Juliet did...
without the intention of ever being wed;
hear her loud cry, " Troubadours don't remain faithful
for long...their desire for adventure makes all null! "
From that castle where noisy ravens gathered,
and shrilled, Marie with tearful eyes looked
over the enchanting black forest dullest than a grey, swelling cloud
which blocked the sunlight from entering her cold window
not frequented by a thrush that stayed behind
for unknown reasons and took shelter in the tower below;
" Poison is a sweet drink and when one is denied love! " she declared.

The shining stars,the lighted moon
The bright sky,the far space.
The pure air,the flowing water
The vast land is our place.
We are born equal,we have equal rights
There shall be no discrimination,
No quarrels,no fights.
Freedom of religion, equality and justice
There shall be no oppression,
But happiness, prosperity and peace.
Today,the world is in chaos
Everywhere we see strife and wars.
The humans seek blessings and peace
In one's own land and overseas.
For centuries, humans are striving for equality and rights
In search of peace, they are facing strife.
Now it's time,it's too much
We need to stand,we need to march
To end the struggle, as such.
We need to serve and save humanity
All we need is,compassion and empathy.
There shall be no race, religion and caste
Not today,not tomorrow,
Our heart and soul need glory and peace,at last.
Let us promise to bring smiles on the faces of the downtrodden
Those,for centuries, weak and heartbroken.
Oh Lord! bestow peace and blessings upon us,
Let there be no more sufferings, struggles and fuss.
He who serves humanity with love and by heart
Is sure to fly free in the sky, soar higher and dart.
Oh Lord! give us the strength and courage,
To fight together, stand strong.
Guide us on the path of success, not rage,
Save us from doing wrong.
For ages, humans are struggling for peace, progress and favor
Not for today,not for tomorrow
But for days to come, always and forever.
The voice of humanity, shall be above all
To stand up with dignity,
Let us make promise, never to fall.
In the pursuit of happiness,
Let us all come together
Ask the Almighty
For peace,blessings and forgiveness.

For several years when our kids were little, every Thanksgiving Day, we all loaded up and headed for Aunt Fanny’s house. New faces and lots of food were big attractions. There was much for which to be thankful.
Just like myself, I suspect that everyone thought that Aunt Fanny's sweet potatoes were the best that we had ever tasted. I suppose that everyone had no doubt that her mustard greens were the best in all America. Who could imagine anybody’s ribs, roast, or chicken being any better than hers? Yes, we were certain that we could not see wings on her biscuit roles; but because they were so soft and fluffy, we also knew that if one did not consume them rather readily, they would fly away.
Doubtless, everybody knew Aunt Fanny the cook. But the real question is whether or not we got to know Aunt Fanny the person. If for any reason, and I can name a few myself, anyone thought that the Thanksgiving gatherings were about the food, they, as did I at times, completely missed what Aunt Fanny was all about. In time, that is, after her great and tasty food was clearly digested, I realized that she was all about people.
Our dear aunt was indeed gourmet, but she was not about making us happy about her culinary abilities. She was about making us believe that we could do anything God designed us to do; and to be all that He purposed us to be. Aunt Fanny was demonstrating to us that she learned to prepare many great dishes from scratch the same way she rose up from a very humble beginning and achieved prosperity in both material and spiritual ways. She nearly started out in life from scratch. So making much from little was second nature with her.
Those ‘massive never out of food gatherings’ were not about the turkeys, or the hams, or the chickens, and not even about the ribs. I tell you, it was not about the food. It was all about the family, the friendships, and the loving. Yes! Aunt Fanny was about the fellowship and the caring. If we had thought that food was the centerpiece, we truly missed the real Fanny.

SELF PORTRAIT
To be objective about oneself is hard
All the others’ competing observations
Reluctant to let them into a conclusion
Yet one remains trapped in confusion
Despite all those awkward aberrations
A basic personality cannot be marred
To see a mirror image is just one view
A painted portrait offers yet another
But with no accuracy in introspection
It can always benefit from correction
It’s a close call from one’s twin brother
But for most, they do not have a clue
A photograph may capture one look
But underneath you know it’s unreal
That big fake smile, just for prosperity
As one waved goodbye to all sincerity
Never sure about how one may feel
So many characteristics in the book
A unique tattoo may carry a stigma
Identity may never be quite the match
Under hypnosis, one can be anyone
But as psychoanalysis has finally begun
Even if one is labelled a suspect batch
Who one may be, remains an enigma
January 12 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 35-37
Key Verse – Genesis 35:3 And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.
HEART THAT CLAIMS FOR THE ANSWER OF GOD
Our heart claims for God’s answer toward bringing us to His promised land
Where the Lord nourishes us with His loving hand
As He has dominion over us by His peaceable command
Making us give obeisance to Him and His demand.
Our heart claims for God’s answer toward giving us His profitable contentment
Where the Lord clothes us with His comforting holiness-raiment
As He warms us by His assurance-garment
Making us stay under His deliverance-settlement.
Our heart claims for God’s answer toward securing us in His protective righteousness
Where the Lord guards us against fatal destructiveness
As He leads us to truthful testimony in conquering foolishness
Making us abide in His wisdom of discernment and prudence-fullness.
Our heart claims for God’s answer toward blessing us in His perfect favour
Where the Lord pours to us His abundance favour
As He provides for us, bestowing us His goodness in our endeavour
Making us remain in His care around His kindness-fervour.
Our heart claims for God’s answer toward enabling us in our productive supplication
Where the Lord responds to us well with His Word’s instruction
As He encourages, inspires, and exhorts us along His gracious restoration
Making us feast in His presence, fellowshipping with us in jubilation.
Our heart claims for God’s answer toward leading us by His powerful authority
Where the Lord directs us to His kingdom’s plenteous service-prosperity
As He governs us for spiritual ministerial productivity
Making us trust Him for our faith’s increase and maturity.
Our heart claims for God’s answer toward fueling us for peaceful worship
Where the Lord carries us along His sovereign leadership
As He cheers us up midst ministerial partnership
Making us abide in His compassion upon stewardship and discipleship.

As we gather here today we pray for safety
please pull out your net Lord and gather us in
We ask for you to strengthen our immunity
and help us to believe, no matter how hard it has been
We ask that our souls would catch the wind of your spirit
and glide us into your sailing promise of prosperity
May we live each day to our fullest without dispirit
and keep ourselves vigilant, hawkeyed and free
Lord please fill us with your peace that we may live
in the knowledge and hope of a new regeneration
may we never forget our objective and prospective
as we journey on, with true dedication
Let us believe in your guidance like the Holy Grail
so that we may hang sturdy, and never fail.
