The Crown and the Scepter

A crown and a scepter were once the power and pride of kings, today they have been replaced by words; no splendid attire is required, but the sharpest mind and an audacity to dare! Presidents make your promises shine, and be truthful to yourself; and serve your people and nation well in every dire, so that no regret and retribution will become the grief after you'll leave; many before you have earned admiration! Would I have been an elect President, no child would go hungry to bed; I would take care of their body and spirit with the abundance of the elite! Wake up, great Nation...distribute your wealth, and give everybody a share of their birthright! Perhaps I am a delusive dreamer: feared, unheard and unseen, but my tongue isn't afraid to spit out its words: to convince those in power to consider kindness; and the citizens who put them there, to ease their burdens, can remove them from office and elect the ones who have esteem.. Lincoln was a symbol of honesty and fairness! A crown and a scepter aren't needed today... to govern a Nation and restore her to greatness; wisdom and guidance from a divine source must be discerned with that sense of willingness, to make changes that benefit everyone who has the right to succeed and enjoy prosperity!
